Abstract

Saat ini industri pariwisata memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Salah satu wilayah yang memiliki potensi untuk industri pariwisata di Indonesia adalah wilayah Bandung. Hotel XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di dalam bidang jasa perhotelan di Bandung yang merupakan Hotel berbintang dua dengan tagline “Where Budget Meet Comfort” dimana tagline tersebut menginterpretasikan bahwa ini masih ke dalam kategori hotel budget dengan harga terjangkau. Namun, Hotel XYZ mengalami masalah dengan revenue yang tidak sesuai dengan target yang ditetapkan, khususnya pada bagian “room”. Hal ini terindikasi karena kualitas layanan yang kurang baik pada Hotel XYZ berdasarkan guest comment hotel dan nilai review di OTA (Online Travel Agent). Oleh karena itu, Hotel XYZ Akan melakukan pengembangan untuk peningkatan kualitas pada layanannya.Tujuan dan hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatakan kualitas layanan yang didasari oleh sebelas true customer needs. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Quality Function Deployment (QFD). QFD adalah salah satu metode yang berfungsi untuk menerjemahkan kebutuhan pelanggan dalam karakteristik produk dimana metode ini mempertimbangkan kapabilitas perusahaan untuk mengimplementasikannya.

Abstract

Analyical Hierarchy process adalah sebuah pendekatan dan metod eyang jamak digunakan peneliti dan awam dalam penentuan keputusan berdsarkan banyak kriteria. AHP menggunakan pendekatan matrix berpasangan yang beresiko membuat proses perhitungan inkonsisten. Hal itu dikarenakan proses perhitungan menggunakan skala rasio yang membandingkan antara dua alternative atau kriteria. Perbandingan tersebut mungkin sekali menjadi tidak konsisten karena keterbatasan dari kapasitas komputasi benak manusia. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah metode dan alat pengambilan data yang dapat memberikan langsung nilai konsistensi pada saat pengisian kuesioner AHP. Sehingga responden dapat melakukan koreksi dengan baik dan peneliti tidak perlu mengulang pengisian kuesioner yang membuat responden enggan. Proses perancangan dan perhitungan menggunakan spreadsheet baik itu Microsoft excel atau pun produk dari google. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan, proses pengisian dapat langsung memberikan informasi kepada responden apakah pengisiannya sudah konsisten atau belum sehingga dapat langsung dilakukan perbaikan.

Abstract

PT.AAA merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi cat kayu, cat tembok, cat batu, pelitur, dan thinner yang mempunyai gudang distribusi atau yang dijadikan sebagai DC untuk kegiatan distribusi. PT. AAA mempunyai layanan pengiriman produk ke pelanggan dengan menggunakan armada sendiri untuk pelanggan di Pulau Jawa. Penentuan rute pengiriman produk dilakukan oleh operator berdasarkan sering atau biasa dilewati oleh armada bukan dengan perencanaan yang matang. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan sejumlah keterlambatan pengiriman bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan usulan rute pengiriman produk ke pelanggan khususnya untuk daerah Karesidenan Surakarta dengan menggunakan Algoritma Two-Phase Tabu Search untuk mengurangi jumlah keterlambatan pengiriman produk. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah urutan rute dan kendaraan yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengiriman produk. Hasil perhitungan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan usulan urutan rute pengiriman untuk armada pengiriman dengan jarak tempuh sebesar 22,51% lebih kecil dibandingkan urutan rute pada kondisi awal. Jarak tempuh tersebut berkurang dari 938,93 km menjadi 727,516 km. Akibat dari pengurangan jarak tempuh tersebut, maka rata-rata keterlambatan pengiriman produk ke pelanggan berkurang menjadi empat lokasi untuk setiap harinya.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to provide a mathematical model that can explain the relationship between the unemployment rate, openness to technology, and people development initiatives to overcome technology development. These research discussions were carried out in the context of predicted technological developments related to Industry 4.0 which caused the loss of several jobs and formed new business models that will provide new jobs. The method used is to using system approach so that mathematical modeling can be obtained from Influence Diagrams which have been designed in previous research. Mathematical models illustrate that openness to technology is directly proportional to the number of unemployed. And the unemployment rate is inversely proportional to the level of human resource development. Development of human resources that are too large without being carried out with openness and technological progress, can also cause unemployment. This mathematical model can be used as a decision maker to understand and establish appropriate policies in the face of this Industry 4.0 change.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah utama pada kerajinan mendong di Tasikmalaya adalah limbah mendong yang menumpuk. Penanganan terhadap limbah mendong dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan penerapan energi mandiri berupa biogas.Dalam studi kelayakan ini akan dibahas secara mendalam kelayakan instalasi biogas yang akan diimplementasi di kampung Lembur Sawah desa Kamulyan Kabupaten Manonjaya Kota Tasikmalaya. Analisis dilakukan dengan meninjau kelayakan dari aspek pasar sebanyak 92 responden di kampung Lembur Sawah, aspek teknis produksi biogas disesuaikan dengan kapasitas mesin digester dan ketersediaan limbah mendong dari pengrajin., aspek lingkungan pengelolaan limbah biogas dapat diolah kembali menjadi pupuk cair dan padat sehingga limbah dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, dan aspek finansial berdasarkan perhitungan NPV, BCR, dan PBP dengan proyeksi selama periode 5 tahun. Studi kelayakan ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembangunan biogas layak untuk dijalankan. Kata kunci : limbah mendong, biogas, studi kelayakan, NPV, BCR

Abstract

 Refinery Unit (RU) V is a processing company owned by PT XYZ located in Balikpapan. Refinery Unit V has twelve warehouses with four warehouses being the main focus in this research of RGM, RMS, RIN, and RSP used to store products for refinery maintenance processes. In the initial conditions, there is a delay in traveling searching activities. The occurrence of delay in traveling searching activity caused by the absence of details of the product location clearly. The proposed product allocation is using Interaction Frequency Heuristic-Order Oriented Slotting method. The last step is to create a new layout for each RU V warehouse.The first step is to calculate the cycle time for each work order list by calculating the distance between the storage point with the point of I / O based on the aisle distance calculation. Next is to compare between the cycle time of each work order list with the standard time of the warehouse, so it will know the percentage of work order list that experienced delay for one year. Next, allocate product storage based on the popularity value of the product and the value of the interaction frequency between the products. The final step is to simulate using new work order list based on the proposed allocation layout to know the effect of change from the proposed layout. The result of this research is a new layout for each warehouse. All stock taking performance are better than the standard time while the exisiting condition violate the standard time.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a pasteurization milk processing company that produce milk drink from pure cow milk. PT. XYZ don’t sell their product directly to end user, instead they distribute their product to many companies which serve milk for their employees or operators in lunch time. So, their customer is mostly a manufacture company from various kinds of industry. They have about 40 customers and most of them are outside Bandung. However, the delivery may not be done as planned. The average on time delivery is around 96%. it is below PT. XYZ target which is 98%. The impact of the delay itself is vary between customers. Because when delay occur, each customer has their own regulation that has been settled in agreement contract. Based on the delay recapitulation above, there are several factors that caused this problem. Delay in departure is the most influential factors. It is because PT. XYZ don’t have fixed schedule of delivery and they miscalculate the departure time because of improper route determination that also leads to longer travel time. This case is categorized as Vehicle Routing Problem with Heterogeneous Fleet and Time Window (VRPHFTW) that will be solved using one of meta-heuristics algorithm which is Two Phase Tabu Search Algorithm to minimize travel distance. In the end, the travel distance can be minimized 19.48%.

Abstract

Abstract In planning education strategies in the field of logistics and SCM, external factors evaluation approach can be implemented. This study proposes the approach of mass media sources and latest news as a basis for determining external factors, as a result, the formulation obtained is newest and more contextual. Those external factors then are going to be analyzed to formulate a strategy that is suitable for logistics education. The strategy emerges into several main things; although it is not time to lead fully to Industry 4.0, the Education curriculum should include knowledge that is aligned and supports the knowledge, Soft Skills that needed to be in logistics and supply chain education are English language skills and the ability to search for data. Object of the research in terms of logistics education which currently growing interests are namely logistics and SCM marine, e-commerce and international zones. Graduates need to be equipped with the ability to do business process efficiently and digitize all business processes.

Abstract

XYZ Company is distributor that focused on distributes floor and wall tiles ceramic. XYZ Company has its own warehouse for storing finished good with Last In First Out (LIFO) rotation. XYZ Company’s warehouse has area of 12,312 m2 with floor stack system. The issued that currently raised is warehouse condition that is overcapacity so several SKUs are stored out of the block even placed outside the warehouse. The impact of overcapacity are accessibility problem, storage and retrieval activities are hampered, and damaged product. In addition, the allocation of higher throughput items were not placed near to the input/output point so the material handling went through long travel to do its activities and it caused higher total travel distance. This research focuses on determining the warehouse layout to increase warehouse storage capacity and reduce travel distance. The procedure to solve the issue will be done by redesign warehouse layout with heuristic approach method. The objective are a combination of lanes depths and storage zones to increase the warehouse storage capacity by considering throughput of each SKU. The next step is allocate the items so it can reduces the monthly travel distance. Based on proposed design layout, obtained the warehouse capacity increase by 35.53% or as much as 5,319 pallet positions and monthly travel distance is decreased by 24.58% or 216,032 meters.
