Abstract

The changes in organizational culture and work behavior is an important process for companies to survive in competition. And a change of leadership that is part of the change will pose challenges and reactions to the interests of its human resources. The research approach used quantitative research and included explanatory research to explain the causal relationship among variables through hypothesis testing with partial least squares path modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique. The results showed the influence of leadership style on positive work behavior but not significant. Reward and punishment no significant effect on work behavior. The organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on work behavior. The leadership style had a positive and significant effect on organizational culture. The reward and punishment had positive and significant effect on organizational culture. The findings of this study showed that participative leadership style model using reward and punishment mechanism could improve work behavior and organizational culture.

Abstract

In its operation,Narotama University internalizes this value to each membersin the organization, especially the studentsandinvolves them in the development of the value itself, to increase their sense of belonging to the university.Internalization of the value could be a major competitive edge in supporting students attain their maximum learning outcomes. Narotama Universitydevelop a model of value internalization for the aforementionedpupose that are : mappingstudent’s basic character and education assesment, directing them to thelearning outcomes of the study program that suit them best; provides various training and activities that will enhance student’semotional and spiritual quotient; nurturing a good student-lecturer communication in the learning process with guidance and consultation until they meet the learning outcomes; conducting an edutainment learning methods with a clear and transparant assesment system.The tracer study results confirmed a success upon the efforts. Graduates of Narotama University are highly employable, 86% of them only takes 0-3 months to get a job. A total of 62.5% of respondents have a job corresponding to their field of study.

Abstract

Health service is highly demanded by public therefore it need to be balanced with the development of health care providers. The development of health care provider plays important role in determining service satisfaction. Hospitals which are unable to provide excellent quality service will loss customer value trust which lead to customer dissatisfaction.The present study aims to examineimpact of service quality and confidence in the value of patientinrelated to patient satisfaction. The present study utilizes 100 patients of inpatient hospital clinic in Surabaya as respondents in which the daya is analyzed by using SEM analysis technique. The result shows that direct effect of service quality on satisfaction is smaller than the indirect effect of service quality on customer satisfaction through value. Furthermore, direct effect of trust on satisfaction is smaller than indirect effect of trust on satisfaction through customer value.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is measurement strategy achievement of public education office of surabaya city using Balanced Scorecard as a measurement tool based on financial perspective, internal business process perspective, customer perspective, and learning and growth perspective. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative  by using the method of observation and interview and then analyzed by giving an overview of the performance of the strategy undertaken and explain systematically. The stages of the analysis include weighting performance to measure the number of indexes, which consists of Major Performance Indicator Achievement Index (IKU), Strategic Target Value (NSS), Performance Perspective Value (NKP), Unit Performance Value (NKU). Based on the achievement of strategy using balanced scorecard on the strategy used by Surabaya Education Department in improving the quality of education in Surabaya has been achieved well this is indicated by the achievement of Unit Performance Value of 102.31% which means it has met the target set 100%.  Keyword :Strategy Achievement, Balanced Scorecard, Performance

Abstract

Quality human resources are needed in obtaining the success of the company. This study aims to determine the analysis of social, personal, cultural and psychological influences on purchasing decisions of Samsung smartphones in Surabaya. The type of research used is quantitative research with a sample of 50 people who bought at Samsung Experience Store in Surabaya who filled out questionnaires which were already recorded customers. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that social, personal, cultural and psychological influences simultaneously on purchasing decisions in Surabaya. As well as social, personal, cultural and psychological influences partially on the purchasing decisions of Samsung experiene store smartphones in Surabaya. The higher the social, personal, cultural and psychological well the higher the level of purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The research conducted on UMKM commercial sector which aims to determine how much the contribution of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) implementation by using four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business process and learning and growth. The concept Balanced Scorecard is deemed in accordance with the consideration that the concept is able to balance short-term plan with long-term plans, as well as to balance financial performance with the performance of non-financial. In addition, The benefits from this research is that companies have an appropriate business strategy and work program that can face of such change, enabling it to maintain and expand its business in the future in accordance with the vision and mission.By using these research techniques, application of the BSC through four perspectives can contribute significantly to the company's performance. This is indicate that UMKM oriented continuously on efforts to maintain customer satisfaction to earn the trust of the quality of the product followed by their support productive and committed employees who will be able to deliver products / services efficiently, consistent and timely with using technology information that have an impact on the organization's ability to generate adequate financial returns. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada sektor komersial UMKM yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi penerapan Balanced Scorecard (BSC) dengan menggunakan empat perspektif: keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal dan pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan. Konsep Balanced Scorecard dianggap sesuai dengan pertimbangan bahwa konsep ini mampu menyeimbangkan rencana jangka pendek dengan rencana jangka panjang, serta menyeimbangkan kinerja keuangan dengan kinerja non-keuangan. Selain itu, Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa perusahaan memiliki strategi bisnis yang tepat dan program kerja yang dapat menghadapi perubahan tersebut, memungkinkan untuk mempertahankan dan memperluas bisnisnya di masa depan sesuai dengan visi dan misi. Dengan menggunakan teknik penelitian ini , penerapan BSC melalui empat perspektif dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa UMKM berorientasi terus menerus pada upaya mempertahankan kepuasan pelanggan untuk mendapatkan kepercayaan dari kualitas produk diikuti dengan dukungan mereka yang produktif dan berkomitmen karyawan yang akan mampu memberikan produk / jasa secara efisien, konsisten dan tepat waktu dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi yang berdampak pada kemampuan organisasi untuk menghasilkan pengembalian keuangan yang memadai.

Abstract

The need for residential location is one of the basic needs of the community and the attractiveness of the residential location is a unique feature where this feature is not made by the respective occupants, but by external factors from the residential environment in the area. This study aims to analyze the factors that are considered as the basis that affect the price of land. This research uses quantitative approach with associative research method. Linear analysis with quadratic method. Ordinary Least Square (OLS). From the analysis of this research model obtained log-linear F-accounting 70,162 while the value of F-table (0,05; 5,48) is 2,45. because F-count> F-table, Ho means rejected and explanatory variables include Distance to city center, Distance to main road, Distance to toll gate, Road width, and security simultaneously can be explained significantly at land sale price.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Mata Masyarakat Jawa Timur. Responden berjumlah 70 orang selain dokter. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah SEM PLS yang menguji hubungan kausal antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem manajemen kinerja dan kompetensi pegawai tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Sistem manajemen kinerja dan kompetensi pegawai berpengaruh terhadap promosi jabatan. Promosi jabatan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. Temuan pada penelitian ini sistem manajemen kinerja tidak dapat meningkatkan kinerja pengawai jika tidak didukung dengan insentif kepada pegawai. sehingga saran kepada penelitian selanjutnya menggunakan variabel insentif kepada pegawai sebagai variabel yang memediasi hubungan antara sistem manajemen kinerja dan kinerja pegawai.
