Abstract

The world development of the 21st century is marked by the progress and the demands of technologies, which may lead to regression. Life in the 21st century demands a person to master a range of skills. One of the important skills in the 21st century is critical thinking skill. This study focuses on the definition, importance, challenges in developing indicators and assessment of critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skill is the ability to think logically, reflectively, productively and systematically appeared in making consideration and making the best decision. Critical thinking skills are beneficial in improving the analysis skill, creativity, ability to make use of ideas or information, and looking for information skill as well as self-reflection. Learning can do the development of learners’ critical thinking skills. An important indicator in the critical thinking skills is interpreting which about an ability dealing with studying or analyzing, identifying the relevant or irrelevant sources, identifying and evaluating the assumptions, implementing various strategies to make the appropriate decisions, summarizing and regulating themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the partnerships implementation among school, family, and communities and its effect on student learning outcomes in elementary school kebumen. This research includes quantitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study was consisted of five elementary schools. The research instruments were questionnaires and interview sheets. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of partnerships in elementary schools in Kebumen indicates a good category (B) with a percentage of 82.50%; 2) the partnerships of school-family-comunities in elementary schools  have a significant influence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Critical Thinking Skill through Guided Inquiry Learning Model using Multimedia in the Learning of IPA about Force for the Third Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Mangunweni in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. The objective of this research is to improve critical thinking skill and students’ learning outcome of IPA about force. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were teacher and third grade students of SD Negeri 1 Mangunweni.  Techniques of collecting data were learning outcomes test, observation, and interview. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptiveanalysis consisting of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification. The results of this research show that the use of guided inquiry learning model using multimedia can improve critical thinking skill and students’ learning outcome of IPA about force.Keywords: Guided Inquiry, multimedia, Critical thinking, Learning outcome, IPA

Abstract

Abstract: The Use Of Scientific Approach Using  Guided Inquiry Model In Improving The Learning Of Science  About The Characteristics Of Light For The Fifth Grade Students Of SD Negeri Srusuh Jurutengah In The Academic Year Of 2016/2017. The objective of this research is to improve the learning of IPA about the characteristics of light for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Srusuh Jurutengah in the academic year of 2016/2017. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subjects of the research were the teacher and 21 students. Techniques of collecting data were learning outcomes test, observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. The results of this research show that the use of scientific approach using guided inquiry model can improve the learning of science.Keywords: Scientific Approach, guided inquiry, Learning of science.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penerapan Mind Mapping dengan Multimedia untuk Meningkatkan Pembelajaran IPS Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang perjuangan mempersiapkan kemerdekaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Teknik validitas yang digunakan adalah triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber data. Analisis data melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Mind Mapping dengan multimedia dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS ditandai dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Mind Mapping, multimedia, pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

Abstract. The Use of Group Investigation Model Using Visual Media In Improving Learning Outcome of IPS about Social Problem for the Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. The objective of this research is to improve learning outcome of IPS about social problem through the use of group investigation model using visual media for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subjects of the research were 19 students of the fourth grade of SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun in academic year of 2016/2017. Techniques of collecting data were learning outcomes test, observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptiveanalysis consisting of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification. The results of this research show that the use of group investigation using visual media can improve learning outcome of IPS about social problem for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun in the academic year of 2016/2017. Penerapan Model Group Investigation dengan Media Visual dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPS tentang Masalah Sosial pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tentang masalah sosial pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun melalui penerapan model group investigation dengan media visual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 19 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini, yaitu teknik tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model group investigation dengan media visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tentang masalah sosial pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun tahun ajaran 2016/2017.Kata kunci: group investigation, media visual, hasil belajar IPS.

Abstrak: Penerapan Model Scramble dengan Media Flashcard dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPS tentang Koperasi pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Karangkemiri 01 Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang koperasi pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Karangkemiri 01 melalui penerapan model Scramble dengan media flashcard. Penelitian ini merupakan PTK kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Karangkemiri 01 yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data mengggunakan teknik tes dan nontes (observasi dan wawancara). Validasi data yang digunakan, yaitu triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Scramble dengan media flashcard dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang koperasi pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Karangkemiri 01 tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Kata kunci: IPS, scramble, flashcard

Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Guided Inquiry Lesson using Poster as Media in Improving IPS Lesson for Fifth Grade Studentd of SD Negeri 4 Tamanwinangun in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. The objective of research was to improve IPS lesson through the use of guided inquiry lesson using poster as media. This research is conducted within three cycles consisted of four stages, namely; planning, conducting, observing, and reflecting. Techniques of collecting data were non test and test. Data were collected by using evaluation sheet, observation, and interview. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and technique. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis statistik kuantitatif. Abstract

Abstrak: Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan Multimedia dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPS di Kelas V SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan multimedia. Penelitian tidakan kelas ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan multimedia dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS.Kata Kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, multimedia, pembelajaran, IPS

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are to proof effect on the implementation of think pair share (TPS) model and problem based learning (PBL) to students’ learning outcome of IPA for fifth grade students. The population of this research is the whole students of SDN 3 and 5 Panjer and SDN Pangebatan in the academic year of 2016/2017, and the sample is fifth grade students using purposive sampling. This research was using quasi experiment by non-equivalent control group design. Technique of collecting data were test to gain students’ cognitive and non-test observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed using t-test. The results of this research show that there is the different effect on the implementation of think pair share (TPS) model and problem based learning (PBL) to students’ learning outcome of IPA. Using PBL was better than model TPS, based on t-test results show that the significant score is higher than  (0,138>0,05) and  value is lower than  (1,507 < 2, 003).
