Abstract

Research on the effect of host larval stage on survivorship of the parasitoid E. argenteopilosus was conducted under laboratory conditions. Survivorship was studied by using S. litura larval with different stage (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th instars). Result of the research indicated that development rate of the parasitoid E. argenteopilosus is faster when reared on 3rd instar larvae. The higher the level of host-instar larvae, shorter time was needed to complete the parasitoid’s life cycle. Only 4.67% of the larvae completed its development to pupal stage, and only 1% reached adulthood, with males being the dominant of the emerging adults.

Abstract

Abstract: Open University in Indonesia as the higher education institution is using DE modes. All course content are delivered through printed learning modules, and 25 percent of course materials are multimedia packages. Learning support is provided via face-to-face, online, and broadcast modes. Radio tutorials are broadcast by the government-owned National Radio Station Network. Online courses use a learning management system. All online support services can be accessed by students through the UT-Online portal, which contains online tutorials and exercises, Web-based learning materials, streamed TV programs, a digital library with journals and transcripts, academic counseling, and ther online education facilities. This study aimed to analyze the need of the development model of blended learning for action research course which increasing the competence of primary school teacher students. The research was conducted in UPPJJ UT Bandung, one of UT’s regional office in west java. Research subject was students, tutors and administrator classroom. By the study, specific goals can be outlined as follows: (i) to study the existing condition of the learning process that occurs at present in S1 PGSD UPBJJ UT Bandung; (ii) to develop form of a blended learning model can improve the competency of graduates; (iii) to study the perceptions of students and faculty on the application of blended learning model on distance learning System; (iv) to study the effectiveness of blended learning model on distance learning systems at UPBJJ S1 PGSD Bandung Indonesia.Keyword: Long Distance Education, blended learning; teacher educationAbstrak: Universitas Terbuka di Indonesia adalah lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang menggunakan DE mode. Seluruh perkuliahan disampaikan melalui modul pembelajaran cetak, dan 25 persen dari materi perkuliahan adalah paket multimedia. Dukungan belajar disediakan melalui tatap muka, online, dan mode broadcast. tutorial radio yang disiarkan oleh Jaringan Stasiun Radio Nasional milik pemerintah. Perkuliahan online menggunakan sistem manajemen pembelajaran. Semua layanan dukungan online dapat diakses oleh siswa melalui portal UT-Online, yang berisi tutorial online dan latihan, bahan belajar berbasis web, streaming program TV, perpustakaan digital dengan jurnal dan transkrip, konseling akademik, dan fasilitas pendidikan online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan model pengembangan blended learning untuk perkuliahan penelitian tindakan yang meningkatkan kompetensi siswa guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UPPJJ UT Bandung, salah satu kantor regional UT di Jawa Barat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa, tutor dan administrator kelas. Pemelitian ini memiliki tujuan spesifik yang dapat diuraikan sebagai berikut: (i) untuk mempelajari kondisi yang ada dari proses pembelajaran yang terjadi saat ini di S1 PGSD UPBJJ UT Bandung; (ii) mengembangkan bentuk model blended learning dapat meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan; (iii) untuk mempelajari persepsi mahasiswa dan fakultas pada penerapan model pembelajaran blended tentang Sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh; (iv) untuk mempelajari efektivitas model pembelajaran blended pada sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh di UPBJJ S1 PGSD Bandung Indonesia..Kata Kunci: pendidikan jarak jauh, blended learnng, pendidikan guru

Abstract

This study aims to: formulate operational concepts to measure the level of household food endurance, to analyze indicators of household food endurance in terms of aspects of education, economics, and food consumption, identify the characteristics of households that experienced food unendurance. Household sample was pre-prosperous, prosperous I, prosperity II, prosperous III, and prosperous III +. Selection random sample coated with proportional allocation. Types of data collected include demographic characteristics of household, ownership of land, the economic characteristics of households, household social characteristics. Based on discriminant analysis, it found five variables that can be indicators of household food enduracnce is the wife of education backgaround, ownership of chickens, the frequency of eating rice consumption , cassava consumption frequency and the frequency of consumption of salted fish. The higher the wifes education, the more resistant the household food. While ownership of the chicken and salted fish consumption is indicated that is the opposite of more domesticated chickens and the higher the frequency of consumption of salted fish is the household food unendurance. Striking characteristic is the average frequency of consumption of salted fish, the frequency of household consumption of food endurance just 0.7 times per week, while the household does not endurance as much food frequency 3.9 times per week.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSI: Tak semua lulusan SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) bisa meneruskan pendidikannya ke jenjang PT (Perguruan Tinggi). Oleh sebab itu, lulusan SMA perlu dibekali kemampuan dan keterampilan untuk bisa bertahan dalam menempuh kehidupan usai lulus SMA. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penguatan pengalaman belajar bercirikan kecakapan hidup dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada SMA di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman kepala sekolah dan guru SMA dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 dan menjamin lulusannya memiliki keterampilan belajar, keterampilan menggunakan teknologi dan media informasi, serta dapat bekerja dan bertahan dengan menggunakan keterampilan untuk hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan sampel para kepala sekolah dan guru SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukan masih variatifnya derajat pemahaman kecakapan hidup para guru dan kepala sekolah dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013. Ada juga sejumlah kendala yang dialami guru dan kepala sekolah dalam implementasi pembelajaran kecakapan hidup. Kendala tersebut bersifat konseptual dan teknis implementatif di sekolah. KATA KUNCI: Manajemen Kurikulum; Kurikulum 2013; Kecakapan Hidup; Pembelajaran Aktif; Kendala Konseptual dan Teknis.  ABSTRACT: “Strengthening the Life Skills in the Implementation of Curriculum 2013 in Senior High Schools in West Java”. Not all Senior High School graduates can continue their education to the College level. Therefore, they need to be provided with the ability and skills to survive in their life after graduation. This study is focused on strengthening the learning experience characterized by life skills in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in Senior High Schools in West Java, Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to determine the understanding of Senior High Schools’ principals and teachers in designing and implementing Curriculum 2013 and ensuring their graduates to have the skills to learn, to use information technology and media, and to be able to work and survive by using life skills. This research used a descriptive method, with a sample of Senior High Schools’ principals and teachers. The results show that there is still a variation of the teachers and principals’ degrees of understanding of life skills in the implementation of Curriculum 2013.
