Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of the use of the Project Citizen model as strengthening character education in the learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education. This research is the experimental research. The model is applied to parallel class XII in State Senior High School (SMAN) 8 Pontianak. Class XII IPS 1 and class XII IPS3. Students of class XII IPS 1 were treated by learning the Project Citizen model and class XII IPS 3 by learning ordinary classical models (the teacher used the lecture and question and answer method). Character values seen are religious, independent, cooperation, integrity, and nationalist values. Based on the results of the t-test on the Expansion class and the Control class, the value of t sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 so that Ho is rejected. It means that there is a significant difference in strengthening character education in the experimental class using a project citizen model with control who use ordinary learning and effect size. From this study, it is known that the impact of enhancing character education in the XII IPS class of SMAN 8 Pontianak is equal to 1 in the high category, thus learning with the Project citizen model is effective as a reinforcement of character education.

Abstract

Eksistensi suatu bangsa sangat ditentukan oleh karakter yang dimiliki. Hanya bangsa yang memiliki karakter kuat yang mampu menjadikan dirinya sebagai bangsa yang bermartabat dan disegani oleh bangsa-bangsa lain.pengembangan budaya dan karakter bangsa hanya dapat dilakukan dalam suatu proses pendidikan yang tidak melepaskan  peserta didik dari lingkungan sosial dan budaya masyarakat dan budaya bangsa.Lingkungan sosial  dan budaya bangsa adalah Pancasila.Pendidikan budaya dan karakter bangsa harus berlandaskan nilai-nilai Pancasila.Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai gerakan sosio-kultural kewarganegaraan berperan sebagai aktualisasi diri warganegara, baik secara perorangan maupun kelompok sesuai dengan hak, kewajiban, dan konteks sosial budayanya, melalui partisipasi aktif secara cerdas dan bertanggung.agar  PKn dapat benar-benar memberikan kontribusi dalam rangka pembangunan karakter bangsa, tiga hal perlu kita cermati, yaitu “curriculum content and instructional strategies; civic education classroom; and learning environment.

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to know the role of chairman in motivating subordinate continuing magister program (S2) in workplace of sub district government of whole Pontianak city. The method is descriptive by qualitative approach. The sources of data primary and secondary datas. The techniques used of the research are observation, direct communication, and documentary study. The result of the research is the chairmans roles as a motivator are doing Coffee Morning, Friday Clean, but it furthermore leads to be personal motivation in this case. The chairmans role as a commander focuses on giving duties and having responsibilities according to duty details and the target which reached and budgeting that has tobe managed and being responsible for, its implemented to letter of treaty, between sub-district head and the subordinates. The chairmans role as as controller by controlling the subordinates skill in communicating by talking each other well mannered and friendly, giving explanation, punctuation, and integrity in supporting prime service to society. The chairmans role as a communicator promotes the subordinates whose the good achievements and enough conditions will get the opportunity to run a higher position. Keywords: Role of Leader, Motivation, and Continuing Education S2

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to describe what factors can affect the low learning outcomes of students who viewed from external and internal factors in class XII IIS 2 SMAN 02 Pontianak. This research is descriptive research. This research is located at SMAN 02 Pontianak, Jalan R.E Martadinata Pontianak in class XII IIS academic year 2017/2018. Data pengumpula using the method of konsioner and interview. Data analysis using Data Reduction technique, display data, cloncusion and drawing / veriviction. The results showed as follows. (1) Internal factors that affect the low of student learning outcomes in class XII IIS 2 SMAN 02 Pontianak (rest period: 65,79%; intelegence: 86,84%; attitude: 81,58%; talent: 81,58%; : 84.21%, motivation: 84.21%). (2) External factors affecting low student learning outcomes in class XII IIS 2 SMAN 02 Pontianak (community environment: 31.58%; family environment: 34.21%; school facilities: 100%; residential facility: 26.32 %; stationery: 52.63%, convenience at school: 100%).Keywords: Low Learning Outcomes, Internal Factors, External Factors
