Abstract

The use of electric power must be wise and efficient. For that we need a way to control the use of electrical power to be automatic and easy. The author tries to make design of light controller in scheduling information system using Arduino Uno R3 web based. Design of light controller tool on web-based scheduling information system is using prototype method. Where the cycle of design and development is quite simple that is through 3 stages starting from Listen to Customer,Design and Building and for the next Test Drive and Evaluations.The result of design of light controller in scheduling information system using Arduino Uno R3 web based after tested by 15 testers product obtained product value 92.66 which means above the minimum value of the product set is 75. And usability test using questionnaire method to assess Aspects of Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors and Satisfactions (LEMES) where the lowest average value of all aspects is 4.58 which means above the minimum limit ie the middle value is based on the Likert scale 1 - 5.

Abstract

The calculation of pension funding programneeds an assumption which can be used to predict theamount of salary when somebody is retired. This iscommonly called salary function. A salary function wasinfluenced by some factors such as inflation and merit. Thisstudy discussed the declining of salary function model basedon exponential function. The salary function model wasbased on years of service (service-based model). This modelhad been estimated using Levenberg Marquardt method onMATLAB program. After that, the model had been used tocalculate the amount of salary on pension funding program.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to perform the improvement of feature extraction based on SIFT algorithm with MSR preprocessing step to increase the number of keypoint. Often in recognizing the SIFT algorithm pattern is affected by image quality. The better the recognizable image, the more number of keypoints it can get. For that need to do preprocessing stages so that the accuracy produced SIFT higher. In this study the researchers tried to combine SIFT algorithm with Multi-Scale Retinex (MSR) method. The MSR method is used because it has advantages in improving image quality in images that have less illumination (darkness). From the test results using MSE and PSNR the proposed method (MSR) is better than the previous methods. The average test result of number of keypoint without preprocessing is 1083.523, Constrast Stretching is 1093.797, CLAHE is 1105.891 and MSR is 1399.162. From this test it can be concluded that the SIFT combination with the preprocessing stages of Multi-Scale Retinex produces a good number of keypoints compared with other methods and without preprocessing stages.
