Abstract

Media pembelajaran sangat penting dalam proses belajar mengajar. Media juga merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari proses belajar mengajar. Melalui media, pesan yang disampaikan oleh guru (sender) kepada murid/siswa (receiver) dapat diterima dengan baik. Apabila komunikasi telah terjadi dengan adanya reaksi umpan balik (feed back), maka proses belajar mengajar akan mampu mencapai tujuan pendidikan pada umumnya dan tujuan pembelajaran di sekolah khususnya.

Abstract

Salah seorang ahli, Bellafiore Joseph mengatakan bahwa tanda baca sangat perlu dalam menulis. Tanda baca tersebut sangat menentukan pesan-pesan yang akan disampaikan oleh penulis kepada pembaca. Maka penulis harus mampu meletakkan tanda baca pada tempat yang semestinya karena penghilangan, penambahan, ataupun kesalahan letak tanda baca tersebut akan membingungkan pembaca bahkan tidak dapat menangkap pesan-pesan yang akan disampaikan penulis. Kemampuan menulis ditentukan banyak hal seperti penguasaan kosa kata, penguasaan tanda baca, dan penguasaan tata bahasa. Dalam hal ini penulis menganalisis kesalahan-kesalahan yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa dalam penempatan tanda baca.untuk mengetahui masalah diatas, penulis menggunakan Punctuation Test sebagai instrument. Dalam pengelolaan data,penulis menggunakan descriptive analysis untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan tanda baca yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan dominan ditemukan pada penempatan titik (.), tanda Tanya (?), tanda seru (!), tanda pisah (--), tanda kutip (“ “), huruf  besar, tanda apostrof  (’), dan tanda penghubung (-).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan siswa dalam menggunakan Question Tags dalam menyusun dialog. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjeknya adalah mahasiswa semester enam STAI Hubbulwathan Duri. Populasi adalah 19 siswa sebagai sampel serta mahasiswa semester enam STAI Hubbulwathan Duri. Objeknya adalah kesalahan siswa dalam menggunakan Question Tags dalam menyusun dialog. Peneliti mendapatkan data dengan memberikan tes tertulis dengan melengkapi dialog yang menggunakan Question Tags. Setelah mengumpulkan data, peneliti menganalisis data dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah yaitu: a) identifikasi kesalahan, b) klasifikasi kesalahan, c) penjelasan kesalahan. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data dan analisis data, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa: kesalahan siswa dalam menggunakan negatif setelah afirmatif dan sebaliknya adalah 34%, menggunakan auxiliaries adalah 52% dan menggunakan request adalah 14%. Jadi, sebagian besar kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menggunakan auxiliaries yaitu 52%.The aim of this research is to know the students’ errors in using question tags in arrangingdialogue. The design of this research was descriptive quantitative. The subject is thesixth semester students of STAI Hubbulwathan Duri. The population is 19 students assample as well of thesixth semester students of STAI Hubbulwathan Duri. The object is the students’ errors in using question tags in arrangingdialogue. The researcher got the data by givingwritten test which is completing the dialogue by using question tags. After collecting the data,researcheranalyzed the data by using steps that are: a) identifications of errors, b) classification of errors, c) explanation of errors. Based on the result of data collecting and data analysis, researcher concluded that the students’ errors in using negative after affirmative and vice versa is 34%, using auxiliaries is 52% and using request is 14%. So, most of the students made errors in using auxiliaries.

Abstract

Islam as a religion of rahmatan lil Alamin come to Indonesia cannot be separated from the shades where Islam was born. In Indonesia, Islam is able to adapt to the local culture. The process of integration of Islam in Indonesia is easily accepted by society. In the process of development, Islam is influenced by local culture, such as arts and culture or traditions in the past. For example, artwork of Grebeg Mulud, Gong sekaten bedug, sound art, carving, puppet, clothes piety and gamelan. The integration of Islam into the Javanese tradition is known by Islam Kejawen.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out whether there was a significant difference between reading comprehension recount text ability of students who were taught by using Herringbone technique and those who were taught without using Herringbone technique. The research method used was experimental research. The instruments  for collecting data was test. It was given to subjects before and after the experiment. The test was used in order to find out the students comprehension ability on recount text. The subject chosen for this study were 62 students at the tenth grade of Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Terpadu Duri. They were divided into two group: experimental and control group.Based on finding, the results of t-test and interpretations, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) Herringbone Technique  was applicable to improve students` ablity in comprehending recount text, (2) there was a significant difference between reading comprehension ability of students who were taught  before using Herringbone Technique and those who were taught after using  Herringbone Technique. And  (3) there was significant effect of using Herringbone Technique in comprehending recount text at the Tenth Grade Students of Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Terpadu Duri. It was evidence by calculation of t- test. The result of t-test was  (2, 00 < 7, 15 > 2, 65). It could be concluded that Ha was accepted.  Key Words: Herringbone Technique, Recount Text

Abstract

Islam in Indonesia is brought by the traders. It is not brought by soldiers or terrorists. When we learn the history of Islam in Indonesia, the development of Islamic societies through various ways and media, for example, trade and purchase, marriage, and “dakwah”. In terms of education to build Islamic education with multicultural insights, the educators must have high moral integrity by promoting ethical-moral as an integral part of their personality. Then educators also must have a deep understanding and also has a high sensitivity in analyzing issues of religious which is being developed in the community. Then, these educators help students to be aware of the importance of understanding the culture in society especially on religious term.
