Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Cebongan 03 Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan selama enam kali pertemuan yang dilalui dalam dua siklus dan berdasarkan pembahasan hasil penelitian serta analisis yang telah dilakukan, bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dapat meningkat. Hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa model pembelajaran Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa dengan adanya peningkatan dari tiap siklus. Pada pra siklus tidak ada siswa yang mencapai berpikir kritis atau 0%. Namun pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan 2 siswa yang berpikir kritis atau 9%, sedangakan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 16 siswa atau 70% siswa yang berpikir kritis. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan terlihat pada tahap pra siklus nilai yang tuntas hanya 8 siswa atau 35% namun pada siklus I mengalami sedikit peningkatan hasil belajar yang tuntas sebanyak 13 siswa atau 57% pada siklus II mengalami kenaikan pada hasil belajar tuntas yaitu terdapat 17 siswa atau  74%. Dengan hasil berpikir kritis siswa dan hasil belajar yang sudah dibahas mencapai keberhasilan yaitu nilai siswa sudah diatas 70%. Maka dapat dikatakan pada siklus II Berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation. Keywords:GI, Hasil Belajar, Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keterampilan pemecahan masalah  siswa yang masih rendah di SD Negeri Sidorejo Kidul 02 pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika melalui penerapan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Jenis penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentase keterampilan pemecahan masalah  siswa yang mencapai KKM pada siklus I meningkat dari 9 menjadi 15 peserta didik dengan  rata-rata 74,21. Pada siklus II siswa yang mencapai KKM mencapai 15 orang dengan rata-rata 82.86. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 80 % disiklus I meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. begitu juga dengan aktivitas guru. Pada siklus I menunjukkan presentase 75% meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Peningkatan ini terjadi karena siswa mulai memahami konsep pemecahan masalah Matematika. Dan guru menggunakan media realia yang dapat membatu siswa memahami konsep pemecahan masalah Matematika melalui langkah-langkah pembelajaran  Problem Based Learning. Siswa lebih antusias dan aktif mengikuti setiap proses pembelajaran, lebih berani di dalam menyampaikan gagasan dan melakukan kegiatan tanya jawab bersama guru

Abstract

This research was conducted to increase students’ participation and achievement in learning Social Studies  of  grade 4 by implementing inquiry method in SD Negeri Kenteng 1 Kecamatan Susukan Kabupaten Semarang semester II year 2016/2017. This research was based on Kemmis and Taggart classroom action research model. The subject of this study were 17 students. The indicator of success of this study was that 80% of the students achieve equal or more than the passing grade (70). It was shown that the implementation of inquiry method is able to increase students’ participation and achievement. The ratio of participation from phase 1 to phase 2 increased from 64.70% to 88.23%. On the other side, students’ achievement in phase 1 was that 70.50% of the students reached the minimum passing grade with the mean value of 88.90. On the second phase, 100% of the students were able to pass the minimum passing grade, and the mean value of the class increase to 93.80. From those result, it can be stated that inquiry method was able to increase students’ participation and achievement in learning Social Studies for grade 4 students of SD Negeri Kenteng 1 Kecamatan Susukan Kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate semester credit system program in SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga. This study was as evaluation research by using CIPP models (Context, Input, Process, and Product) along with qualitative descriptive approach. This data collected by interviews, documentations and observation. The data were analyzed by applying Miles and Huberman theory in Sugiyono (2013:95) that consisted of data collection; data reduction; data display; and conclusions. This study use triangulation technique to test the validity of data. The result showed that: 1) SMAN 1 Salatiga Semester Credit System Program implementation in context evaluation based on the needs of learners possess special smart categories; 2) SMAN 1 Salatiga Semester Credit System Program implementation in input evauation include the plan, mechanism implementation, teachers, learners, finance, infrastructure, and schedule are valued as sufficient; 3) SMAN 1 Salatiga Semester Credit System Program implementation in process evaluation have been carried out as planned program although there are still some obstacles, but have been already handled well; 4) SMAN 1 Salatiga Semester Credit System Program implementation in terms of the results were in accordance with the original purpose of the program, that was to facilitate learners with smart category Outstanding in order to complete their high school studies only for 2 years.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPA siswa dengan menggunakan metode Snowball Throwing berbantuan media konkret di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis & Taggart. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Mangunsari 02 Salatiga yang terdiri dari 23 siswa. Kriteria keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini yaitu jika nilai rata-rata siswa kelas IV mencapai atau melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu ≥ 65 sebanyak 90%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan melalui metode Snowball Throwing berbantuan media konkret dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPA siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor awal keaktifan belajar pada siklus I sebesar 3,625 (90,62%)  meningkat di siklus II menjadi 3,81 (95,25%). Hasil belajar siswa secara kognitif meningkat dari siklus I pencapaian ketuntasan secara klasikal rata-rata kelas mencapai 65,22% dengan rata-rata kelas 70,86 meningkat di siklus II menjadi 91,30% dengan rata-rata kelas sebesar 79,33. Kata kunci: Snowball Throwing, Media Konkret, Hasil Belajar, IPA

Abstract

This research is taken place to describe the punctual improvement of the teacher who’s participated in participatory training model using in-on and to determine the influence of teacher optimism and teachers ability to give feedback, along with the contribution of each variable. This research was conducted based on the assessment of elementary school teachers who are participated in training for classroom action research preparation in KKG Gugus Joko Tingkir Salatiga, with 42 selected people randomly. Data for this research is quantitative. Data were collected through a self-rating scale of 21 items that proved to be valid and reliable. Data analysis using multiple linear regression with Stepwise Model. Based on the result of this research, it can be proved participatory training model effective in improving teacher’s punctual in teaching. There are 2 variables/predictors of teacher optimism and or together with their ability to provide feedback on teacher’s punctual in teaching. Teachers optimism has an effect (positive and significant) on teacher’s punctual in teaching equal to 35.20%. Teacher’s optimism along with their ability to give feedback impact teacher’s punctual in teaching as much as 42.9%. Thus participatory training model should be applying learning principles that emphasize positive optimistic psychology, get used to working effectively with challenges, have the confidence to use innovative thinking in achieving success.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in natural sciences for grade 4, the second term of the academic year 2016/2017 at SD Negeri Mangunsari 02 Salatiga through the Problem Based Learning model. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Subjects of this study are the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Mangunsari 02 Salatiga, consisted of 14 male students and 9 female students. Data collection was using non-test and test techniques.  Results show that in pre cycle condition, student who pass are 11 students (47.82%), i.e. 14 students in cycle I (60.86%), and 20 students (86.95%) in cycle II. The average score in pre cycle condition was 59.13, 68.73 in cycle I, and 75.04 cycle II.  Therefore, the application of Problem Based Learning model in lecturing science in the fourth grade of Mangunsari 02 Elementery School Salatiga, can improve the student learning activity.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development yang menghasilkan media  berupa buku cerita bergambar tema 1 subtema:1 hidup rukun di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab kebutuhan sekolah, meningkatkan minat membaca  dan meghasilkan buku cerita bergambar “Rukun itu Indah” untuk peserta didik yang layak.  Pengembangan media buku cerita bergambar  dilakukan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kalitatif yang dilakukan dengan  3 langkah pokok penelitian, yaitu: Pertama, Studi pendahuluan yang mencakup kebutuhan Sekolah Dasar dan pentingnya media. Kedua, penyusunan draft produk melalui tahap pembuatan tema, ilustrasi, desain karakter, penyusunan buku cerita bergambar, validasi materi,validasi media. Ketiga, uji coba produk bagi siswa kelas 2. Hasil penelitian berupa buku cerita bergambar yang berisi materi pendidikan hidup rukun di rumah ini telah divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan dinyatakan layak. Buku cerita bergambar telah di uji cobakan kepada peserta didik sekolah dasar dan peserta didik mampu memahami materi hidup rukun di rumah dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) develop syntax of instructional contextual  integrated thematic design models to improve the meaningful learning of elementary students; 2) describe an validity models; and 3) describe the level of effectiveness of the model. This R&D research consists of a preliminary study, model designing and developing to be validated by experts, the model testing. The preliminary field testing involved 4 teachers and 57 elementary students participants. The main field testing  involved 8 teachers and 94 students. The research  instrument are questionnaires and test. This research findings are: 1) the model steps includes: a) setting a theme; b) adding sub-themes; c) the analysis of SKL, KI, KD and making indicators; d) the making of nets of sub-themes; e) developing syllabus; f) developing  RPP; g) compiling a fragment of the teacher's book; and h) developing fragments of student books; 2) the model validity level is in the very high category (86%), the syllabus and lesson plans and the material are in the high category (69.8%; 69%); and 3) the meaningfulness of student learning has increased, namely in the preliminary field test increased from 49.49 in pretest to 69.44 in post-test, and in the broad field test, the value increased greater than 47.98 to 70.43. The statistical test using the t-test ensures that the increase is significant, because the probability value (0.00) is smaller than the value of α = 0.05.
