Abstract

Produksi suara merupakan bagian dari metode bioakustik, yaitu menggabungkan biologi dan akustik yang biasanya merujuk pada penelitian mengenai produksi suara,dispersi melalui media elastis, dan penerimaan pada hewan, termasuk manusia. Penelitianini mengamati tingkah laku lumba-lumba jantan dengan melakukan pendekatan ilmubioakustik yang melihat karakteristik dari lumba-lumba tersebut. Lumba-lumba jantan(Tursiops aduncus) yang dipelihara di Taman Safari Indonesia, Cisarua Bogor memiliki nilaiintensitas terendah sebesar 28,03 dB dan tertinggi adalah sebesar 32,01 dB. Dengan ratarataparameter yang terukur yaitu salinitas sebesar 30 ‰ dan suhu 23 °C dengankedalaman kolam 4,5 meter. Range frekuensi suara klik dengan nilai intensitas tertinggiyaitu sebesar 32 dB dengan suara klik sesudah makan pada hari ke 2 yang terdapat padarange frekuensi yaitu 14 - 16 kHz. Range frekuensi suara klik lumba-lumba jantan hidungbotol (Tursiops aduncus) di Taman Safari, Cisarua Bogor, Indonesia yaitu pada frekuensi14,2- 15 kHz.

Rata-rata parameter yang terukur yaitu salinitas sebesar 30 ppm dan suhu  23 °C dengan kedalaman kolam 4,5 meter. Range frekuensi suara klik dengan nilai intensitas tertinggi yaitu sebesar 32 dB dengan suara klik 3 sesudah makan pada hari ke 2 yang terdapat pada range frekuensi yaitu 1400-1600 Hz. Range frekuensi suara klik lumba-lumba jantan (Tursiop aduncus) di Taman Safari yaitu pada frekuensi 1400- 1500 Hz.

Abstract

Study on bioacoustic learns about sound production, dispersion through elastic media, and reception in animals, including humans, intensity of sound amplitude, sound fluctuation, and sound patterns of fish. Bioacoustic is a multidiscipline science that combine biology and acoustic science that usually refer to sound production research, sound dispersion through the elastic medium, and sound reception in animal including guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata). In this research, salt level about 2 g/mol was added in the water/medium until the salinity was 30 ppm. The result indicated that the sound intensity of guppy fish on days 3 and 7 after the addition of salt reaches the highest value of -44 dB with interval time of 40-50 seconds. This research showed that guppy fish can survive in salinity 30 ppm with sound intensity -48 dB and the frequency of flapping fins or guppy fish stridulatory was 0-19.60 kHz.

Abstract

This study discussed about Haar wavelet with a view original signal, denoised signal, and residual signal with using fourth whistle sounds of dolphin (Tursiops aduncus). The study was conducted in Safari Park, Cisarua, Bogor Indonesia with 2 dolphins. The results showed differences in results Haar wavelet, this study proves that the Haar wavelet is suitable for the analysis of dolphin sounds, and its have frequency ranged 8-22 kHz. The highest value of the noised signal was smaller than residual signal. The highest of residual signal contained in the second whistle, while the lowest was whistle 1, it showed that the larger the signal denoised result residual signal generated using Haar wavelet. The frequency of source level value ranged 8500 Hz to 11800 Hz, with the highest SL value was 43.9 dB (brown cyrcle). The lowest of the frequency of Source Level (SL) value ranged between 15700 Hz to 17990 Hz, with the lowest SL value was 38.5 dB (brown cyrcle). Whistle 1, 2, 3, and 4 have a different value SL and every SL values obtained in 1,2,3, and 4 have differences noise, it shows the same target but SL value and the sound patterns remain distinct by looking at time duration of whistle sound. Beam pattern from an omni directional sound source (DI= 0 dB, cyan trace) and a directional source following the piston model (DI= 18 dB, black  trace) and beam pattern with 4 types signal have ranged value 70 º-180°, with highest intensity value was 60º.
