Abstract

Coal mining activities may cause a series of environmental and socio-economic issues in communities around the mining area. Mining can become an obstacle to environmental sustainability and a major hidden danger to the security of the local ecology. Therefore, the coal mining industry should follow some specific principles and factors in achieving sustainable development. These factors include geological conditions, land use, mining technology, environmental sustainability policies and government regulations, socio-economic factors, as well as sustainability optimization for post-mining land use. Resources of the remains of the coal which is defined as the last remaining condition of the resources and reserves of coal when the coal companies have already completed the life of the mine or the expiration of the licensing contract (in accordance with government permission). This research uses approch of knowledge-driven GIS based methods mainly Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy logic for utilizing coal remaining resources and post-mining land use planning. The mining area selected for this study belongs to a PKP2B (Work Agreement for Coal Mining) company named Adaro Indonesia (PT Adaro). The result shows that geologically the existing formation is dominated by Coal Bearing Formation (Warukin Formation) which allows the presence of remains coal resource potential after the lifetime of mine, and the suitability of rubber plantation for the optimization of land use in all mining sites and also in some disposal places in conservation areas and protected forests.

Abstract

Currently coal companies, especially in South Kalimantan, have not been yet or only slightly entered the post-mining stage, although part of the mining blocks have been totally exploited, so that the company should have been preparing for the development of other sectors (non-mining). It shows that optimization of coal resources from exploration, mining to post-mining land use is necessary to ensure sustainable mining and sustainable development in terms of meeting the conservation aspect. To meet all aspects of conservation, the achievement of optimization in a series of mining business activities is started from the potential optimization of the potential of the coal remain resources until the optimization of post-mining land use is absolutely required. This research has analyzed several alternative sectors outside mining, which will be selected for optimization of utilization or post-mining land use, including plantation, recreation, industry and conservation sectors. The analyzing process used several parameters to assess the selected sector including rainfall, slope and land use. Therefore, this study uses an approach of GIS-based methods (knowledge-driven), mainly fuzzy logic for post-mining land use planning. The selected mining area for this study belongs to PT. Wahana Baratama Mining company that has a Work Agreement for Coal Mining Exploitation. Abstract

Sebagai   produsen  perusahaan   produk   semen  tentunya  mempunyai  suatu  strategi  yang unggul  dan  bisa mengintegasikan  secara  strateglk  kepada  anggo1a saluran  distrlbusinya (toko  besi  dan  bahan  bangunan). Dan  kemudian juga   dapat  mengkoordinasikan  untuk menyesuaikan sertu mempengaruhl  keputusan  dan aktivitas  anggota saluran distribusinya. Obyek penelitian ji,ga meliputi jenis  produk uiama yaitu  produk   semen yang  merupakan salah  satu produk utama yang dijual  di toko besi dan bangunan yang arti pentingnya dari peningkatan  hasil penjualannya  bisa  meningkatkan  keuntungan  secara  keseluruhan  dari toko tersebut juga memperlancar perputaran  modal untuk pengembangan usaha.   Penelitian ini juga meneliti bagaimana   hubungan yang  berkualitas dalam melakukan segala aktivitas bisnis  dengan  berbagai  hat yang  mendukung hubungan tersebut agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja  ekonomi  keduanya.  Penemuan   ini  telah  menghasilkan mengembangkan   variabel kualitas  hubungan   dikarenakan  variabel  ini juga  dapat  dipengaruhi  secara  positif oleh kualitas  komunikasi.  Hasil-hasilnya  juga meliputi  hubungan  antar perusahan  yang dapat mengefektifitaskan  ataupun  mengefisienkan  kegiatan  distribusi, yang  hasil akhirnya  akan meningkatkan  kinerja   pemasaran,    distribusi   dan   keuangan   bagi  perusahaan    suplier (produsen produk  semen) juga mitra distribusinya (toko besi dan bahan bangunan).

Resource coal plays a strategic role in economic and social development in many industrialized countries [3, 4, 6].
