Abstract

This study aims to produce swed max edutainment based instructional media through metaphorical thinking approach to understanding mathematical concepts of trigonometric material. This research method used stages of Borg and Gall model development modified by Sugiyono with the aim to create a specific product and test its effectiveness. The results showed that the development of learning media has very good criteria with the average assessment of material experts of 88.8% and media by 85.7%. In the attractiveness, the test has very good criteria in small groups average percentage of 88.4% and field trials 89.6%. Learning media also affect the understanding of mathematical concepts of learners evident from the test results before and after showed improvement indicators of mathematical concepts from low to high category. The conclusion of this research is developed instructional media have very good criteria and improve understanding of the mathematical concept of learners.

Abstract

Rendahnya self directed learning di SMP PGRI 6 Bandar Lampung disebabkan karena cara pengajaran guru yang masih menerapkan model pembelajaran Langsung.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan self directed learning peserta didik yang menggunakan models eliciting activities dengan menggunakan metode scaffolding lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP PGRI 6 Bandar lampung Tahun 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Ekxperimental Design dengan teknik simple random sampling, didapat kelas VII E sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VII F sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes kemampuan self directed learning. Uji coba tes meliputi validitas isi, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan reliabilitas. Untuk uji normalitas menggunakan uji Liliefors, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji kesamaan dua varians. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji-t. Dari hasil penelitian uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai dari t_hitung berdasarkan perhitungan yang diperoleh t_hitung=2,135, dan t_tabel = 1,689 sehingga t_hitung>t_tabel, dengan taraf nyata 0,05 dengan kata lain H_0 di tolak dan terima H_1. Sehingga berdasarkan perhitungan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh models eliciting activities dengan menggunakan metode scaffolding terhadap self directed learning peserta didik kelas VII SMP PGRI 6 Bandar pada pokok bahasan bangun datar segitiga dan segi empat.

Abstract

This research has two goals that are to produce a product in the form of interactive computer-based mathematics learning media on linear equations system of two variables and to know the effectiveness of the product that has been developed. This research method is done by using 7 steps as a step to produce the product based on Borg and Gall development model that modified by Sugiyono. Based on the data analysis obtained from material experts and media experts stated that the interactive computer-based mathematics learning media is appropriate to be used based on the validators validation indicator in which the validator indicator by the material expert is the quality of the content, the accuracy of coverage, language and feasibility of presentation, while the assessment indicator from media experts include visual communications, language, implementation, and software engineering. based on data analysis obtained from learners stated that multimedia learning interactions very good. This means that multimedia interactive computer-based learning that has been developed by researchers can be used as one of the learning resources of students of SMP / MTs class VIII.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of quick on the draw activities in the cooperative learning order to the learners outcomes whether there is influence between learners who have self-confidence (high, moderate, low) to learners learning outcomes, to determine whether there is interaction between quick on the draw activities in the cooperative learning arrangement with self-confidence towards learners learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental design. The research design used was posttest only. The research samples used proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data collection used was the interview method, documentation, test, and questionnaire. Instruments used for data retrieval are an essay-shaped test and questionnaire-shaped statements. Data analysis used a two-way ANOVA test with the unequal cell. The result of the research (1) that there is the influence of quick on the drawing activity in the cooperative learning arrangement to the learning result. (2) that there is influence between learners who have self-confidence (high, medium, low) on learning outcomes. (3) there is no interaction between quick on the draw activities in the cooperative learning order with self-confidence towards the learners learning outcomes.

Abstract

The low mathematical communication skills in SMA 2 Natar, South Lampung, are caused by various factors, including the assumption that mathematics is very difficult so students still tend to be passive. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical communication skills of students who used the Gerlach and Ely learning models that characterized Islamic values better than conventional learning. The population in this study were students of class X Natar 2 Public High School. This research is a pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest type. The test prerequisite analysis was done by Liliefors test for normality and F test for homogeneity, then the data were analyzed using N-Gain test and correlated t-test. The results of the analysis in the t-test test correlates mathematical communication skills in the material of the nilier equation system three variables at the significance level α = 0.05 obtained by tcount = 24.19 Ttable = 2.045 24, Thitung> T table so that in the calculation of H0 is rejected. Similarly, mathematical communication skills can be improved after using the Gerlach and Ely learning model characterized by Islamic values on the subject of the three-variable linear equation system

Abstract

This study is based on the problems that occur in mathematics subjects, where most of the content is abstract, not a few students who find it difficult to learn. This should receive special attention from several parties, such as teachers, school environment, guardians, and the environment. because the subjects of mathematics is one of the mandatory lessons that must be studied all levels of primary and secondary education. This study aims to describe learning difficulties in understanding the anxiety of learners on learning mathematics class X in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Kotaagung Tanggamus District. In this study population of 37 students with sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling and random class. Data collection in this research is a field data record using documentation, observation, questionnaire, and interview. Learning difficulties can be interpreted as a condition in the learning process characterized by the presence of certain barriers to achieve learning outcomes. In this study more mangacu on the subject of anxiety learners who become obstacles in achieving the objectives of learning .. This research is a type of qualitative research and validity techniques in this study using time triangulation. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of learning difficulties in understanding students in learning mathematics can be concluded that the factors that affect learning difficulties are physical and physical factors and external factors that are family and environmental factors. Anxiety of learners with low anxiety category is more noticeable and very passionate in mathematics learning compared to the other two categories namely medium anxiety category and high anxiety.
