Abstract

The universities are currently facing many challenges as an institution of higher education providers, especially private universities to compete for students, maintaining the values of academic that produce graduates who can compete in creating jobs, and enter the workforce. This study aimed to analyze the effectof market orientation and image to the student satisfaction, and the implication to the student loyalty.Data collection was taken from students in Jambi as many as 200 samples with analytical methods WarpPLS Structural Equation Model 3.0. The result showed that all of hypothesis has positive and significant impact, which Market Orientation greatest effect.

Abstract

The research will be discussed about the impact of the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management in improving financial performance in Company "XYZ". This research is done by using Qualitative method. In this study, the analysis of operational activities and the results of identification shows low risk, medium risk and high risk. This research is done by interview, observation and document analysis about the application of Enterprise Risk Management. This study shows that there are 18 risks that arise in the company. With the ERM, the company is more sensitive to the various risks that can occur the company can also provide an assessment of each risk and provide appropriate response and in accordance with the risk rating and can take a policy on decision making appropriate for the sustainability of the company.

Abstract

Perbankan di Indonesia memiliki peranan penting sebagai penggerak perekomian. Aktivitas penyaluran kredit merupakan sumber pendapatan utama bank dan merupakan menjadi risiko bisnis terbesar. Penyaluran kredit modal kerja dan kredit investasi mendukung aktivitas bisnis yang sehat dalam percepatan ekonomi global. Ditengah gencarnya penyaluran kredit bagi dunia usaha, sebagai lembaga keuangan yang diawasi oleh Otoritas Jasa Keungan (OJK), perbankan harus menjaga kualitas kredit yang disalurkan kepada masyakat sesuai peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh Bank Indonesia. Hal ini berguna agar pertumbuhan kredit prebankan terhindar dari risiko kredit bermasalah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan kredit modal kerja dan kredit investasi, serta pengelolaan dan pengawasan risiko kredit. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk melakukan penelusuran pada salah satu bank konvensional terbesar di Indonesia. Studi kasus yang diambil adalah pada salah satu kantor wilayah yang membawahi puluhan kantor cabang. Penetapan lokasi dan informan menggunakan teknik purposive. Penggalian data dilakukan dengan document review dan melalui in-depth interview dilakukan penelusuran mendalam. In-depth interview terhadap 12 informan terdiri dari pelaksana kredit, pelaksana administrasi kredit, pelaksana analisis risiko, pejabat kredit, dan pihak Bank Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Temuan pada penelitian ini adalah bahwa kebijakan dan peraturan kredit yang mengutamakan prinsip kehati-hatian (prudent) dimanifestasikan pada prinsip pokok pemberian kredit, tata cara penilaian kualitas kredit, serta profesionalisme dan integritas pejabat perkreditan. Kebijakan dan peraturan tersebut bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kejelasan informasi (symmetric information) profil risiko debitur. Pendekatan pencegahan risiko kredit dilakukan juga dengan pengenalan dini (early warning signs) sejak debitur mengajukan permohonan kredit, karakter debitur, kelancaran pembayaran kredit, hingga penilaian prospek ekonomi dan industri. Selain itu, pedoman pelaksanaan kredit perusahaan mengharuskan adanya penerapan kualitas kredit pada sistem manajemen risiko moderen berdasarkan sistem rating Credit Risk Rating (CRR) dan juga sistem kolektibilitas BI. Upaya penyelesaian kredit bermasalah dilakukan melalui penilaian iktikad baik dan prospek usaha debitur, karena sebagai jaminan kemampuan debitur dalam memenuhi kewajibannya (repayment capacity). Kredit bermasalah umumnya disebabkan oleh kemampuan debitur dalam berbisnis rendah dan penyalahgunaan tujuan kredit. Rendahnya pengalaman pelaksana kredit, diduga menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya kualitas analisis dan pengawasan kredit yang dapat menimbulkan kredit bermasalah. Ekspansi kredit yang sehat harus mensyaratkan peningkatan SDM yang kompeten dan berintegritas, sehingga proses penyaluran kredit di masyarakat sesuai tujuan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of strategic leadership and role conflict on employee commitment with job stress as mediation. The study used 60 samples of employees from BPR Nusamba Ngunut Tulungagung as respondents. Research data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed through SmartPLS. The results show significance for the impact of strategic leadership to job stress, role conflict to job stress, role conflict to employee commitment, job stress to employee commitment, and insignificant results on the influence of strategic leadership to employee commitment. Job stress mediates the influence of strategic leadership and role conflict to employee commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinant factors in the company's hedging decisions and to determine whether the activities of corporate hedging decisions through derivative instruments provide increased value for the company. The sample consisted of 33 mining companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2011-2015 period. The method used in this study is logistic regression and independent sample t-test. The result of logistic regression by using variable of financial distress, underinvestment cost, and size showed a positive correlation to corporate hedging decision. Meanwhile, by using an independent sample t-test found that the company's hedging decisions significantly affect the value of firms and the companies with hedging decision activity through derivative instruments have more superior value than companies by using natural hedging decisions.

Abstract

Baluran National Park in the regency of Situbondo, East Java-Indonesia, highly prospective for development of sustainable tourism that can improve the welfare of local people. The suitable tourism type is eco-tourism with local people envolvement.The purposes of this study were: 1). To know the local people envolvement in eco-tourism development; 2). To know the potenciesof Baluran National Park; and 3). To formulateEco-tourism Development Strategy.Using the matrix analysis method of IFAS and EFAS, produce a common strategy; SWOT analysis generates alternative strategies. This research was exploring, to formulate policies and programs based internal and external conditions. Data were collected by questionnaire, interview and observation. The number of respondents 25 people who are competent in the field of tourism.The results showed, local people envolvement of Wonorejo, Bajul Mati, Bimo Rejo, Watu Kebo, Sumber Waru and SumberAnyaras buffer villages, in the development of eco-tourism in Baluran National Park needs to be improved through approach, training and community empowerment. Alternative strategy obtained eco-tourism product development strategy; development of basic infrastructure and facilities as well as supporting tourism; tourist market penetration and promotion; increased security; as well as institutional and human resource development strategy of eco-tourism. Eco-tourism development strategy is a strategic priority of generating eco-tourism product development programs and maintaining biological resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Analisis Pengaruh Financial Ratio (Current Ratio, Debt Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Gross Profit Margin) Terhadap Return On Equity Dengan Net Profit Margin Sebagai Variabel Moderator. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan analisis. Alat analisis menggunkan metode regresi berganda dan regresi berganda dimoderasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi beberapa perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2011-2014. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling dengan 12 perusahaan Pertambangan sektor batubara dan MIGAS sebagai sampel. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial Current Ratio (CR) dan Debt Equity Ratio (DER) terhadap Return On Equity (ROE) tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan. Sedangkan secara parsial Total Asset TurnOver (TATO) dan Gross Profit Margin (GPM) berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Return On Equity (ROE). Pada pengujian berikutnya variabel Current Ratio (CR) dan Debt Equity Ratio (DER) yang diperkuat hubunganya oleh Net Profit Margin (NPM) terhadap Return On Equity (ROE).
