Abstract

Divisi Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) merupakan salah satu divisi di PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk yang memproduksi baja lembaran dingin dengan ketebalan 0.200 mm sampai dengan 3.000 mm. Salah satu proses bisnis di divisi CRM adalah controlling yang difokuskan pada pengecekan status order. Pengecekan status order di divisi CRM harus menggunakan dua sistem, yaitu PCS dan SAP sehingga memerlukan langkah kerja yang panjang serta waktu siklus yang relative lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan pada proses pengecekan status order di divisi CRM. Pengolahan data menggunakan software foxbase dengan mengambil data dari PCS dan SAP. Pada penelitian ini diketahui bahwa ada beberapa hal yang menyebabkan waktu siklus menjadi lama, diantaranya penggunaan dua sistem serta beberapa update yang masih manual. Pengecekan status order usulan mengeliminasi beberapa langkah kerja dari pengecekan status order eksisteing serta mengganti beberapa langkah kerja dengan langkah kerja yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian didapat bahwa terdapat penurunan jumlah langkah kerja, dari 12 langkah kerja pada proses pengecekan status order eksisting menjdi 9 langkah kerja pada pengecekan status order usulan, begitu juga dengan waktu siklus terdapat penurunan dari 54 menit pada pengecekan status order eksisting menjadi 32 menit pada pengecekan status order usulan.

Abstract

IMPROVEMENT OF CASSAVA OPAK PRODUCTION PROCESS IN PANDEGLANG DISTRICT THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FORMING MACHINES. Pasirawi Village Banjar District Pandeglang Regency is one of the poorest villages in Pandeglang District, where in this village there is productive land of cassava plantation area of ​​approximately 50 hectares. This village is one of the producers of Cassava Prawns one of them is the largest cassava opak in Banten area. the production process of cassava opak cassava is still very conventional so that in the process of processing there are some obstacles, among others: production and technology constraints and still simple. Realizing the processed industry of Cassava in Pandeglang Regency qualified and competitive through Implementation of Cassava Printing Machine Technology. Which is manifested in the activities Designing and development of production machine Opak Cassava Chips Maker with Engine Speed ​​100 pcs / minute and other processed cassava printing machine which result more efficient.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the achievement and improvement of junior high school students' mathematical communication ability using discovery learning models and props of statistical kenik compared to students who use ordinary learning, and student activities during learning using discovery learning models and props of statistical kenik to take place. This study used a quasi-experimental design. The experimental group obtained learning with discovery learning models and props of statistical kenik and control groups obtained regular learning. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication ability. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Cilamaya Kulon Karawang. With the sample subjects were eighth grade students as many as two classes from the five existing classes randomly selected. The results of this study are: (1) There is achievement and improvement of mathematical communication ability between students whose learning uses discovery learning models and props of statistical kenik compared to students who use ordinary learning; (2) Learning by using discovery learning models and visual aids shows that the learning process is more effective in mathematical problems solving and students can find statistical material concepts.
