Abstract

The objectives of the research is to study and to analyze empirically the influence of office channelling on third party deposits and return on assets in Indonesian sharia business unit. Third party deposits and return on assets are used as indicators of sharia business unit performance after opening new branchs through office channelling program. The research uses korelasional method.The number of sharia business units taken as samples in the research cover about 10 sharia business unit in Indonesia which already publicate theirs own financial statements separated from their conventional banks financial statements. The data were analyzed using Ordinary Least Square Method.The result show that, firstly, office channelling statistically significant influence third party deposits, but secondly, office channelling statistically insignificant influence return on assets. This unpredicted result shows that the increase of third party deposits through office channelling program not automatically could increase return on assets. We found that the sharia business unit couldnt yet opfimally response the increase of third party deposits. The increasing of third party deposits were not followed yet by the good atocafions of fund.Keywords : Office channelling, Third party deposits, Return on assets, Sharia business unit, Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of environmental management on environmental performance and the effect of environmental performance on financial performance. The study uses panel data, the data used in this study are cross section data and time series data. The company that is used as the unit of analysis in this study is companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2011-2014. Based on the sampling technique used purposive sampling method, obtained a sample of 96 out of a total of 24 listed companies. While the data analysis technique used in this study is ordinal logistic regression analysis and simple linear regression analysis with the OLS method. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis it can be concluded that environmental management has a significant positive effect on environmental performance, and the same conclusion also applies to testing the effect of environmental performance on the company's financial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identifies factors influenced in determination of pricing formula in Islamic Banking. This research used survey method and the locations are in Islamic Banking Head Office in Jakarta and Bandung with qualitative approach. Technical of data collection are by survey and interview with the employees of Islamic Banking from ALMA Committee and asset and liabilities unit in head office. Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that four factors that influenced in determination of pricing formula in Islamic Banking : Cost of Fund, Overhead Cost, risk and bank margin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis  persepsi para ulama, para tokoh ormas Islam dan akademisi terhadap perbankan syariah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan yaitu metode survey dan wawancara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif eksploratif Berdasarkan hasil penelitian persepsi para ulama, anggota ormas Islam dan kalangan akademisi terhadap bauran pemasaran (produk, promosi, harga, lokasi dan personal) perbankan syariah berbeda-beda. Para ulama  dan kalangan akademisi menilai bauran pemasaran yang dikembangkan oleh perbankan syariah sudah tepat. Sementara anggota ormas islam menilai bauran pemasaran yang dikembangkan oleh perbankan syariah masih kurang tepat. Perbedaan persepsi ini disebabkan karena adanya perbedaan pengalaman, peranan, minat dan kebutuhan serta tingkat keyakinan.Persepsi para ulama dan kalangan akademisi terhadap kesesuaian praktek perbankan syariah dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah adalah positif. Sedangkan anggota ormas islam menilai praktek perbankan syariah  tingkat kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah masih rendah. Perbedaan persepsi tersebut dimungkinkan karena kurangnya pengalaman, pengetahuan, minat dan kebutuhan terhadap produk-produk dan layanan perbankan syariah. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Ulama, Tokoh Ormas Islam, Akademisi, bauran pemasaran, prinsip-prinsip syariah.

Abstract

Recorded more than 7536 people of productive age unemployment spread in cities in Banten province. 4473 of them are in four cities, namely the City of Serang, Rangkasbitung, Cilegon, and Pandeglang [1]. They are stranded on the streets and wandering around. The Banten government does not yet have a special program that is progressive, comprehensive, and sustainable to overcome unemployment and Drop Out Youth. In connection with that, the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Banten offers cooperation programs in the form of Working with Community. The objectives of this program are: 1) to empower productive age unemployed, 2) to provide start-up entrepreneurship skills for the development and promotion of Banten local products, 3) to improve the social status of the unemployment in order to achieve the program of “a less children on the street” heading of Creative and Cultured Banten Communities, 4) to establish an integrative and comprehensive sustainable programs to overcome the problems of unemployed social groups. The method of social transformation is carried out through training in vocational entrepreneur skills. Activities begin with counseling, training, and mentoring. The application of start-up entrepreneurship technology is provided for the promotion of Banten local products. As many as 30 unemployed are divided into three training groups. The types of training provided are: screen printing skills, entrepreneurship, and the use of mobile phones for online business. Three types of training are given for the three groups. The final product in the form of shirt printing is sold off line at tourist attractions of Gunung Pinang and also through the media on line Bukalapak and Tokopedia. This empowerment activity has been able to give change of life of the parties. The unemployed become more confident because they can use mobile phones for entrepreneurship gradually. The community began to seek ideas to develop and promote local Banten products. Mereka terlantar di jalanan dan berkeliaran.Pemerintahan Banten belum memiliki program khusus yang progresif, komprehensif, dan berkesinambungan untuk mengatasi pengangguran dan Pemuda Putus Sekolah.Sehubungan dengan itu, timUniversitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Banten menawarkan program kerjasama dalam bentuk pengabdian working with community. Tujuan program ini  adalah: 1) memberdayakan pengangguran usia produktif, 2) memberikan keterampilan (life skills) start-up enterpreneur untuk pengembangan dan promosi produk lokal Banten , 3) meningkatkan status sosial pengangguran guna mewujudkan program less children on the street menuju masyarakat Banten berkarya dan berbudaya, 4) membuat program integratif dan komprehensif berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi problematika kelompok sosial pengangguran. Metode transformasi sosial dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan vocational entrepreneur skills. Kegiatan dimulai dengan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Penerapan teknologi sart-up enterpreneur diberikan untuk promosi produk lokal Banten. Sebanyak 30 pengangguran dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok pelatihan. Jenis pelatihan yang diberikan adalah keterampilan sablon, kewirausahaan, dan pemanfaatan hand phone untuk bisnis on line. Ketiga jenis pelatihan diberikan secara bergantian antar-satu kelompok dengan kelompok lainnya. Produk akhir berupa sablon kaos dijual secara off line di tempat wisata Gunung Pinang dan melalui media on line bukalapak dan tokopedia. Pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan sedikit banyaknya telah dapat memberi perubahan. Para pengangguran menjadi lebih percaya diri karena dapat memanfaatkan hand phone untuk berwirausahan secara bertahap.
