Abstract

AbstractThis case study research aims at finding the implementation of local Government’s policy on the reading-writing the Qur’an. The research is carried out in a number of regions that have policy on the reading-writing the Qur’an. i.e.: Pekanbaru, Kampar, Indramayu, Tasikmalaya, Serang, Cilegon, Banjarmasin, Banjar, Maros, Gowa, Gorontalo, and East Lombok. The research outcome explains that the Local Government’s policy on the reading-writing the Qur’an is set out in the Local Regulation, Regional Regulation, Call out of the Regent, Governor’s Instruction, and Instruction of Education Office Head. The implementation of the policy is executed by a certification obligation of the competency on the reading-writing the Qur’an as an acceptance requirement for a new student at the educational levels of junior high school and senior high school as well as vocational school. AbstrakPenelitian studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah tentang baca-tulis Al-Qur’an. Penelitian dilakukan pada sejumlah daerah yang memiliki kebujakan tentang baca-tulis Al-Qur’an, yakni: Pekanbaru, Kampar, Indramayu, Tasikmalaya, Serang, Cilegon, Banjarmasin, Banjar, Maros, Gowa, Gorontalo, and Lombok Timur. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah tentang baca-tulis Al-Qur’an dituangkan dalam Peraturan Daerah, Peraturan Bupati, Himbauan Bupati, Instruksi Gubernur, dan Instruksi Kepala Dinas Pendidikan. Implementasi kebijakan tersebut dilaksanakan melalui adanya kewajiban sertifikasi kemampuan baca-tulis Al-Qur’an sebagai persyaratan penerimaan siswa baru pada jenjang pendidikan menengah pertama dan jenjang menengah atas, serta sekolah kejuruan.

Abstract

This research aims at understanding Distance Education and Training System managed by Balai Diklat Keagamaan (the Religious Education and Training Office) in Denpasar, Bali. Aspects of the system under study include inputs, processes, and outputs. This research used a case study method and was conducted from February to September 2011. Interviews, observation, and inventory were used as methods for data collection. Information was obtained from the Head of Balai Diklat Keagamaan Denpasar, Head of Administration Sub-Section, widyaiswara instructors, alumnae of distance education and training programs, and staff of Balai Diklat Keagamaan. The research found that the office has administered distance education and training programs since 2009. Lectures were provided by widyaiswara instructors and supported by administration staff. To improve their knowledge and skills in using distance learning technologies, widyaiswara instructors and support staff had previously been trained in Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) at the Center of Education and Training in Jakarta. Participants of distance education and training came from the provinces of Bali and West Nusatenggara. Learning modules are provided on the website through which learning interactions are also conducted. In addition, there areface-to-face learning sessions. Until 2010, the office already implemented distance education and training programs for 7 batches with the total alumnae of 168 persons. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem penyelenggaraan diklat jarak jauh Balai Diklat Keagamaan Denpasar, yakni: input, proses, dan output-nya. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus terhadap sistem penyelenggaraan diklat jarak jauh di Balai Diklat Denpasar, Provinsi Bali. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari hingga September 2011. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan inventori; dengan sumber data terdiri atas: Kepala Balai Diklat Denpasar, Kepala Sub-Bagian Tata Usaha, widyaiswara, alumni peserta diklat jarak jauh dan staf Balai Diklat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Balai Diklat Denpasar telah melaksanakan diklat jarak jauh sejak tahun 2009, memiliki sumber daya pendukung sebagai input penyelenggaraan diklat jarak jauh, yakni: widyaiswara dan staf Balai Diklat yang menjadi tutor dan admin diklat jarak jauh setelah terlebih dahulu mendapatkan pelatihan di Pusdiklat Jakarta untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan menggunakan Virtual Learning Environtment (internet) melalui internet; tools yang digunakan adalah internet dan modem. Peserta diklat berasal dari wilayah Provinsi Bali dan Nusa Tenggara Barat. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan melalui website diklat jarak jauh sebagai media pembelajaran yang utama. Modul dan materi pelajaran serta interaksi pembelajaran juga dilakukan melalui website. Selain itu, juga ada pembelajaran tutorial yang bersifat tatap muka. Sampai saat ini (2010), Balai Diklat Denpasar telah menyelenggaraan (output) diklat jarak jauh selama 7 angkatan dengan jumlah alumni sebanyak 168 orang. Abstract

This research aims to elaborate on the relevance of the regional government regulations in reading and writing from Al-quran to the policy of the government policy on national education curriculum. The research on both policy documents uses a content analysis approach consisting of: the regional regulation number 4 Banjar region about Khatam Al-quran for participants in elementary and junior high and the ministry of national education regulation number 22,23,24 year 2006 concerning national education curriculum. The results of the research  indicate  the  relevance  of  many  aspects  of  regional  regulation  (perda)  Banjar  region  number  4  year 2004 with the government’s policy on national education curriculum. Relevance is identified based on aspects of: objectivity, content, and the learning process. From the perspective of education, regional regulation number 4 Banjar region is based on complementing and supplementing the national education curriculum policy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan persinggungan isi dan kandungan makna peraturan pemerin- peraturan pemerintah daerah tentang Baca Tulis Al-Qur’andengan kebijakan pemerintah tentang kurikulum pendidikan nasional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan analisa isi terhadap kedua dokumen kebijakan yang menjadi fokus penelitian yakni: peraturan daerah nomor 4 Kabupaten Banjar tentang khatam al-qur’an bagi peserta didik pada pendidikan dasar dan menengah; dan peraturan menteri pendidikan nasional nomor 22, 23, 24 tahun 2006 tentang kurikulum pendidikan nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesesuaian pada banyak hal antara peraturan daerah (perda) Kabupaten Banjar nomor 4 tahun 2004 dengan kebijakan pemerintah tentang kurikulum pendidikan nasional. Kesesuaian tersebut ditemukan pada aspek: tujuan, isi, dan proses penyelenggaraan pembelajaran. Dari perspektif pendidikan, peraturan daerah nomor 4 Kabupaten Banjar bersifat komplementer dan suplementer terhadap kebijakan kurikulum pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims at determining the context, input, process and output of distance education and training organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs since 2009. This study used the survey method at research sites covering Ja­kar­ta education and training center, Bandung education and training center, Surabaya education and training center, Semarang education and training center, Denpasar education and training center, Banjarmasin education and training center, Makassar education and training center, Padang education and training center, Palembang education and training center and Medan education and training center. The data collection was done by interviews, questionnaires, observations, and study of documents. The study concluded that distance education and training of technical personnel conducted since 2009 at 4 education and training centers and in 2010 at the entire education and training centers (12 education and training centers) have contributed to three things: a). Increasing the number of education and training participants, b). Providing ICT competencies to lecturers and staff of education and training centers to be on-line tutors and administrators of distance education and training, and c). Providing Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), hardware and software in the form of internet websites with contents that support the distance learning.AbstrakPe­ne­li­ti­an ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konteks, input, proses dan output pe­nye­leng­ga­raan diklat jarak jauh yang di­se­leng­ga­ra­kan oleh Ke­men­te­ri­an Agama RI sejak tahun 2009. Pe­ne­li­ti­an ini menggunakan metode survei, pada lokasi pe­ne­li­ti­an yang meliputi balai diklat Ja­kar­ta, balai diklat Bandung, balai diklat Surabaya, balai diklat Semarang, balai diklat Denpasar, balai diklat Banjarmasin, balai diklat Makassar, balai diklat Padang, balai diklat Palembang dan balai diklat Medan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, angket, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Pe­ne­li­ti­an menyimpulkan bah­wa pe­nye­leng­ga­raan diklat jarak jauh tenaga teknis dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2009 pada 4 balai diklat dan pada tahun 2010 pada seluruh balai diklat (12 BDK) telah memberikan kontribusi ter­ha­dap tiga hal, yaitu: a). Me­ning­kat­kan jumlah peserta diklat; b). Memberikan kompetensi TIK kepada widyaiswara dan staf balai diklat untuk menjadi tutor on-line dan administrator diklat-jarak jauh; dan c). Menyediakan Virtual Learning Environtment (VLE), hardware dan software da­lam bentuk web-site internet de­ngan content yang mendukung pem­be­la­jar­an jarak jauh.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect on the quality of teacher qualifi cations towards teachers qualities in the school and religious education in madrasas. These were include teachers’ pedagogical knowledge, the ability to make a lesson plan, the increasing of student test scores, and the teachers performance and creativity. This study was undertaken toward madrasas’ teacher qualifi cation improvement programs followers and religious education teacher at the school as well, through graduate school scholarship program. The data collecting techniques was using survey. The samples consisted of madrassa teacher and teacher of religion in the publicschools of alumni scholarships S2 and S1. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire, and documents. The results showed that teacher qualifi cation have had infl uence on teachers’ pedagogical knowledge, the ability to create lesson plans, performance and teacher creativity and innovation.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is a survey of Islamic religious study at school aimed to know the category of school library, know the existence of Islamic religion library, know the user and initiator of Islamic education library in schools. The data was acquired by questionnaire through respondents namely principals, teachers of religion and officers of library and the students. The research shows that there are 4 categories of religion library in school namely independent library, combined with school library, combined with mosque and combined with religious education laboratory. The determining figures in initiating and developing school education library are the principal and religion teacher. The collections of the library are still limited and inadequate. The main users are religion teachers and students to achieve the learning objectives. AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan survei terhadap perpustakaan pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui kategori perpustakaan sekolah, mengetahui keberadaan perpustakaan pendidikian agama Islam di sekolah, mengetahui pengguna dan pemrakarsa perpustakaan pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah. Data diperoleh menggunakan angket melalui responden, yakni: kepala sekolah, guru agama, dan petugas perpustakaan sekolah, dan siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat 4 kategori perpustakaan pendidikan agama di sekolah, yakni: perpustakaan yang berdiri sendiri, bergabung dengan perpustakaan sekolah, bergabung dengan musholah atau mesjid sekolah, dan yang bergabung dengan laboratorium pendidikan agama. Tokoh yang menentukan dalam memprakarsai dan mengembangkan perpustakaan pendidikan agama di sekolah adalah Kepala sekolah dan guru agama. Koleksi bahan pustaka keagamaan masih sangat kurang dan terbatas. Pengguna utama dari perpustakaan adalah guru agama dan siswa dalam rangka mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research to find out the effect of the level religious educational service with the religiusitas student. The research was conducted in SMA/SMK Government and non Government in the  Medan Nort Sumatera using 1X2  design involving 22 schools chosen by using purposive random sampling.The data analysis and interpretation indicated that: There is not difference religiusitas value student in the school have religious educational service high between the school have religious educational service low. The conclusion the level school has religious educational service not effect againt religiusitas student value.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the orientation of education of students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia (MAN-IC) Serpong, after graduation. As it refers to the national education system, students who graduate from secondary education have a chance to go to higher education, whether academic, profession or vocational path. This was a case study toward student future orientation. Data sources came from head school, tachers, psychologists, counselors, school committee, documents, and students. Data and information were collected by observation, interview, discussion and questionaire. The results showed that students prefer academic path rather than professional and vocational paths. The majority of learners choose domestic high schools, and some choose overseas, and few choose Islamic high schools and Ma'ahad Aly. The majority (85%) of them felt confident with the choice of study, and 75% were already convinced by their choice of profession. Those who were still in doubt, was caused by economic variable as they doubt whether they can fund the study finance or not, ,and also by the awareness of the dynamic changing environment. From the side of profession, majority of them tent to become academics, lecturers, researchers, and inventors; and some choose to be merchants or entrepreneurs.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui orientasi dan motivasi pendidikan siswa-siswi Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia (MAN-IC) Serpong, setelah tamat. Sebagaimana merujuk pada sistem pendidikan nasional, bahwa peserta didik yang tamat jenjang pendidikan menengah, berkesempatan untuk lanjut pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi, baik yang bersifat akademik, profesi ataupun vokasi. Ini adalah penelitian studi kasus yang fokus kepada peserta didik. Sumber data berasal dari pimpinan, ustaz, psikolog, konselor, pembina asrama, dokumen, serta para peserta didik. Data dan informasi dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi serta kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa para siswa lebih memilih jalur akademik ketimbang jalur profesi dan vokasi. Mayoritas peserta didik memilih Perguruan Tinggi Umum (PTU) dalam negeri, dan beberapa memiilih PT luar negeri, serta sedikit yang memilih Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) dan Ma’had Aly. Mayoritas (85%) mereka merasa yakin dengan pilihan studi, dan 75% yang sudah yakin dengan pilihan profesinya. Mereka yang masih ragu, disebabkan oleh variabel dana pendidikan yang belum pasti sumbernya, dan adanya kesadaran terhadap lingkungan yang dinamis dan berubah cepat. Dari sisi pilihan profesi, mayoritas (tapi kurang dari setengahnya) cenderung memilih menjadi akademisi, dosen, peneliti, dan inventor; sebagian kecil memilih untuk menjadi pedagang atau entrepreneur.

Abstract

Pengaitan Rohis dengan aksi radikalisme selalu ditentang oleh para aktivis Rohis, dengan alasan Rohistidak pernah mengajarkan radikalisme. Jika ada aktivis Rohis yang terlibat pada gerakan radikal itubukan disebabkan oleh Rohis tapi oleh sebab lain. Demikian pula halnya dengan kasus keterlibatanalumni Rohis SMKN Anggrek, komunitas sekolah menentang pengaitan mereka dengan keberadaanRohis di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk mengungkap faktorpenyebab dan proses keterlibatan alumni dan aktivis Rohis pada aksi radikalisme. Penelitian inidilakukan di SMKN Anggrek, Kabupaten Klaten, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian difokuskan padaalumni dan aktivis Rohis yang ditangkap dan digrebek oleh Densus Anti Teror 88 Polri karena didugamelakukan aksi terorisme. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya dua faktor yang menyebabkan keterlibatanalumni Rohis SMKN Anggrek pada aksi radikalisme, yakni: faktor yang berasal dari dalam sekolah, danfaktor yang berasal dari luar. Faktor dari dalam sekolah meliputi ketersediaan guru pendidikan agamayang terbatas dan tenaga pengawas pendidikan agama yang tidak melaksanakan fungsinya. Faktor dariluar sekolah adalah hadirnya kelompok-kelompok pengajaran agama yang mengajarkan nilai-nilai danaksi radikalisme dengan mengincar anak sekolah sebagai anggotanya.

Abstract

This paper is aiming to explain enemy perception as one factor of the trigger to student brawling. Paper was developed from qualitative research conducted in Bogor city in 2016 until early 2017. Data and information collected through observation, documents collection, interview of Bogor Educational office, Bogor Education Committee, Task Force of Student Brawling, schools staff, teachers, and student that include on brawling. The conclusion is that the most frequent student brawling occurs in Bogor city was triggered by the enemy perception of the student toward another school student, even toward other school groups. This perception could trigger the conflict whenever and wherever they met without policeman or teacher supervision. This enemy perception had raised a long time, as the olden generation inherit it to their younger generation, and keep maintained. Therefore, the solution to stopping student brawling in Bogor city is to eliminate the perception of the enemy towards other schools or other school groups.
