Abstract

This research is conducted to all fifth-grade elementary school students throughout the Subdistrict Conggeang that included higher group. The research result indicates that the realistic mathematics education and conventional approach give different effect to students’ mathematical understanding and problem-solving abilities. The effect to mathematical understanding and problem-solving ability in experiment class is better than the control one. The effect of realistic mathematics education to the higher, middle, and lower achievement students group is different too. Higher group gets a bigger effect than others. There is a positive correlation between mathematical understanding and problem-solving abilities, which its contribution is 95, 9%.Keywords: realistic mathematics education, mathematical understanding ability, mathematical problem solving ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan kecerdasan interpersonal dan percaya diri dengan hasil belajar IPS ranah afektif siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Randublatung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini terdapat tiga variabel yaitu kecerdasan interpersonal dan percaya diri sebagai variabel bebas dan hasil belajar IPS ranah afektif sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 98 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi ganda. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat dijelaskan bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal memiliki hubungan dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Randublatung  sebesar 41,8%. Percaya diri memiliki hubungan dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Randublatung  sebesar 39,7%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara variabel kecerdasan interpersonal dan percaya diri dengan hasil belajar IPS dengan r hitung 0,680> r tabel 0,198 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dengan N = 98 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,451. Kesimpulan bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal dan percaya diri memiliki hubungan dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantaran Randublatung  sebesar 45,1%. This research aimed to describe the correlation between interpersonal intelligence and self confidence and affective learning result of social studies 5th grade Elementary School at Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Randublatung. This research was correlation research using quantitative approach. There were three variables in this research, namely interpersonal intelligence, self confidence as independent variables and affective learning result as dependent variable. The population of this research were all students of 5th grade at Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara, they were about 98 students. Questionnaire technique, interview, observation and documentation were used to collect the data. Descriptive statistic, correlation analysis, and double linear regression were used to analyze the data. Based on data analysis, it can be explained that interpersonal intelligence has correlation with learning result of social studies of 5th grade at gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Randublatung of 41,8%. Self confidence has a relationship with the learning result of social studies of 5th grade at gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Randublatung of 39,7%. The result showed that there were positive and significant correlation between interpersonal intelligence variable and self confidence with learning result of social studies with r count 0,680> r table 0,198 with significance level 5% with N = 98 and coefficient of determination equal to 0,451. The conclusion is interpersonal intelligence and self confidence has relationship with learning result of social studies of 5th grade at Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Randublatung of 45,1%.
