Abstract

The achievement motivation and encouragement in students to perform activities as well as possible in order to achieve a commendable achievement with honors, but in fact the achievement motivation of students of class VIII-B SMP Negeri 2 Anjir Pasar is still low. The general objective of research is to describe the application of the quantum teaching effectiveness in improving student achievement motivation in teaching materials Sound. Specific objectives that describe feasibility studies lesson plans, student achievement motivation, learning outcomes, and student responses. The research using action research model of Hopkins consisting of 3 cycles include planning, action/observation, and reflection. The technique of data collection in the form of tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed (1) feasibility RPP cycle I, II, and III in general is very good, (2) student achievement motivation cycle I and II are generally good, very good third cycle, (3) improved student learning outcomes with classical completeness cycle I amounted to 71.43% (not complete), the second cycle of 85.00% (complete), and the third cycle 90.91% (complete), (4) students response to the process of teaching is generally good quantum. The conclusion that the implementation of the quantum model of effective teaching increases student achievement motivation class VIII-B SMP Negeri 2 Anjir Pasar on sound teaching materials.

Abstract

The student  learning results that low were indicated because the less of using innovative learning that make the lack of students response in asking and responding to questions. These research aims to optimize student learning results of clss IX C SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin at the dynamic electrical subject through the application of cooperative learning type VAK. The specific purposes of this research were to describe: (1) adherence of the lesson plans, (2) student activities, (3) the student learning results, and (4) the student’s responses toward teaching and learning proces. These research were classroom action research that consists of 3 cycles. Collecting  data through observation, study test results, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The  results were  analyzed by  descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this research were: (1) an increase in the percentage of adherence to the RPP in each cycle with the very well category, (2) the activity of student were categorized very well, (3) the results of student learning in the first cycle has not been completed in the classical completeness, in cycle II and III increased classically with complete categoy, (4) the student’s responses toward teacing  and learning proces were very well category. Based on the findings were obtained the conclusion that the student learning result of class IX C SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin on the dynamic electrical subject  can be optimized by the application of cooperative learning type VAK.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Creative thinking skills of the students of class VII MTsN Mulawarman Banjarmasin on physics lesson is low. This is due to the evaluation of learning rarely apply creative thinking skills, as well as the implementation of learning activities predominantly on one type of intelligence, logical-mathematical. Therefore, we need a strategy that can develop creative thinking skills and refers to the different spheres of intelligence, multiple intelligences learning strategies that contextual teaching and learning (CTL). The general objective of this study is to describe the differences between the multiple intelligences and learning strategies (CTL) to the creative thinking skills of students. Research conducted a quasi-experimental study design randomized pretest and posttest control group. The study population was all students of class VII MTsN Mulawarman Banjarmasin and the sample were students of class VII D as an experimental class and E class VII as a control class. Data collection was conducted using test instruments, and multiple intelligences scale questionnaire. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and parametric assumptions to test the hypothesis. The results showed that in general there is a difference between the students creative thinking skills and classroom control classroom experiment. This is supported by the results of the analysis, which was performed on the data posttest and gain scores, two classes, namely thit , 3.177 > 1.665 ttab , and thit , 2.104 > ttab , 1,665 .multiple intelligences learning strategies; creative thinking skills

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa belum menjadi perhatian, padahal keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang sangat penting diajarkan kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektifitas penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing menggunakan LKS berbasis scientific approach. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).  Subjek penelitiannya ialah 34 siswa kelas 7C SMPN 24 Banjarmasin. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah LKS brbasis scientific approach. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data diperoleh keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I keterampilan menanya sebesar 67,88%, pada siklus II keterampilan menanya sebesar 84,71%, dan pada siklus III keterampilan menanya sebesar 92,26%, sedangkan keterampilan mengamati, mencoba, menganalisis, mengkomunikasikan dan menyimpulkan pada ketiga siklus sebesar mencapai nilai diatas 85%. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II baik, dan siklus III amat baik. Hasil belajar siswa materi konsep zat yang berorientasi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mencapai ketuntasan secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 78,13%, pada siklus II sebesar 88,24%, dan pada siklus III sebesar 91,18%. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran sangat baik. Oleh karena itu diperoleh simpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing menggunakan LKS berbasis scientific aproach efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas 7C SMPN 24 Banjarmasin pada materi konsep zat.Critical thinking skills of students have not been a concern, whereas critical thinking skills are one of the most important high-level thinking skills taught to students. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of applying learning problem-posing model using worksheet based on scientific approach. This research uses classroom action research method. The research subjects are 34 students of grade 7C SMPN 24 Banjarmasin. The instrument used in this research is a scientific approach bracket worksheet. Based on the result of data analysis, the students critical thinking skill in the first cycle of questioning skills equal to 67,88% score, on the second cycle, the questioning skill equal to 84,71%, and on the third cycle of questioning skill equal to 92,26% , while observation skill, try, analyze, communicate and conclude on all three cycles achieving a value above 85%. This shows the improvement of students critical thinking skills from cycle I to cycle II good, and cycle III is very good. Student learning result of concept material that oriented critical thinking skill of students reach mastery classically in cycle I equal to 78,13%, in cycle II equal to 88,24%, and at cycle III equal to 91,18%. Student response to learning is very good. Therefore it is concluded that the application of learning problem-posing model using a scientific-based worksheet approach effectively improves critical thinking skills of 7C students SMPN 24 Banjarmasin on the material concept of substance.

Abstract

Preliminary observations on the school declared students science process skills and ability to perform scientific work in the learning of physics have not been fully implemented. It can be seen from the observations of physics learning activity, interviews with physics teacher and results of student questionnaire. Guided discovery learning is a model of learning to train students in the science process skills and solving academic problem. This study used action research to describe the effectiveness of the application of the guided discovery learning model to improve students science process skills. This study has shown (1) lesson plan implementation in each cycle is verry good; (2) assessment of students science process skills increased in each cycle to be categorized verry good at the end of the cycle; (3) improvement learning outcomes student and complete; and (4) student responses is categorized as good. So concluded that the application of the guided discovery learning model in straight motion materials was effective for improving science process skills, at the same time results of learning and scientific attitude of students of class X-A  SMAN 1 Kandangan in 2012-2013.

Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran yang kurang tepat mengakibatkan kurangnya perhatian siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran sehingga mengakibatkan hasil belajar  tidak maksimal. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan tipe learning cycle melalui model pengajaran langsung. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP tipe learning cycle melalui model pengajaran langsung, (2) hasil belajar, (3) keterampilan prosedural, (4) respon siswa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopkins yang terdiri dari 3 siklus, setiap siklus meliputi plan, action/observation, dan reflective. Subjek penelitian adalah 34 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan RPP selama proses pembelajaran meningkat yaitu 86,94% pada siklus I menjadi 97,08% pada siklus II dan 100% pada siklus III, (2) keterampilan prosedural siswa mengalami peningkatan tiap siklus, (3) peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 65,62% (tidak tuntas), siklus II sebesar 87,09% (tuntas), dan siklus III sebesar 90,00% (tuntas), (4) respon siswa  secara umum tergolong baik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa keefektifan pembelajaran yang menerapkan tipe learning cycle melalui model pengajaran langsung dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin pada materi ajar cahaya berkategori efektif.

Abstract

Learning physics only to training remember and understand aspect the causes of passive students and inhibit the development of thinking on a higher level. One reason for the development of curriculum 2013 is training critical thinking skills. Therefore, research that aims to develop critical thinking skills worksheets based on the subject matter of heat to support the implementation of curriculum 2013. The specific aims of this study describes: (1) the validity of student’s worksheet, (2) critical thinking skills of students after using the student’s worksheet, and (3) students response to student’s worksheet. This type of research is the development of research ADDIE model includes the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Research subjects are 30 students of class VII-F Junior High School 24 Banjarmasin. Collecting data through sheet of validity, sheet of critical thinking skills, interviews, observation,  questionnaire responses, and documentation. Data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive. Results showed (1) the validity of student’s worksheets based critical thinking skills in a very valid category and in the category high reliability, (2) critical thinking skills in the excellent category, and (3) students response to student’s worksheet in the excellent category. Be concluded that the student’s worksheet based critical thinking skills developed in the proper category.

Abstract

Abstrak: Rendahnya karakter dan keterampilan proses siswa dikarenakan mereka kurang berpartisipasi aktif dalam menggali dan menemukan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatih karakter dan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui penerapan model discovery learning. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dibagi dalam 2 siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri atas 3 kali pertemuan. Subyek penelitian adalah 36 siswa kelas 7 E SMPN 24 Banjarmasin pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen pengamatan karakter dan instrumen tes keterampilan proses sains. Teknik analisis data karakter siswa adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Karakter  siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 57,14 % dengan kategori cukup meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 85,71% dengan kategori baik; dan (2) Hasil perhitungan n-gain keterampilan proses pada siklus 1 sebesar 0,24 dan pada siklus II sebesar 0,62; berarti peningkatannya semula dalam kategori rendah meningkat menjadi sedang. Abstract: The low character and process skills of students because they lack active participation in exploring and discovering knowledge. This study aims to train students' character and science process skills through the application of discovery learning models. The research method is classroom action research which is divided into 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The subjects of the study were 36 students, grade 7 E in SMPN 24 Banjarmasin in the 2018/2019 school year. Data collection uses character observation instruments and science process skill test instruments. Student character data analysis techniques are qualitative descriptive and N-gain test. The results of the study showed that: (1) The character of students in the first cycle was 57.14% with a sufficiently increased category in the second cycle of 85.71% with a good category; and (2) The results of the calculation of n-gain process skills in the first cycle are 0.24 and in the second cycle are 0.62; means that the increase in the initial low category increases to moderate.
