Abstract

This research is validation study of Semester Learning Plan of Basic Chemistry. This aims to know the validity of Semester Learning Plan of Basic Chemistry from Biology Education Program of Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin University. Validation is done by using expert consideration method. Instrument used is a questionnaire that has been analyzed using descriptive statistics. Data analysis results show that validity of the designed Basic Chemistry’s Semester Learning Plan is highly valid. To strengthen the results of the analysis, then performed the analysis of validity with the consideration of expert through CVR method. CVR score obtained is ± 1. This show that Basic Chemistry’s Semester Learning Plan is feasible and relevant used in the learning process. So, the conclusion is Basic Chemistry’s Semester Learning Plan is highly valid and can be used in learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan yang dialami mahasiswa jurusan PMIPA dalam pengolahan data statistik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa jurusan PMIPA yang sedang menyusun skripsi yang terdaftar pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2013/2014 yang berjumlah ? 60 orang mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan, 1) Kesulitan mahasiswa dalam pengolahan data statistik disebabkan oleh latar belakang pendidikan mahasiswa di tingkat SLTA pada umumnya tidak berasal dari SMA jurusan IPA, sehingga dalam proses perkuliahan untuk mata kuliah statistik mahasiswa cenderung malas, 2) Rendahnya minat baca mahasiswa sehingga berakibat pada minimnya ilmu pengetahuan dalam berbagai hal, khususnya dalam hal pengolahan data secara statistik

Abstract

Training of Classroom Action Research is an effort to increase the understanding and skills of teachers in preparing the research proposal, conducting research, as well as a research report. This training is subject teachers at SDN 04 IX Korong totaling 19 people. The training was conducted by the lecture method which collaborated with guided exercises. The use of this method is effective to increase the interest of teachers in writing, because every teacher guided continuous and programmed. This training provides a positive impact for teachers at SDN 04 Korong IX. It is seen from the 19 teachers who attended the training, there are 11 teachers who successfully complete the Class Action Research to stage the final report. It shows that 57.9% of teachers at SDN 04 IX Korong able to do research and have a high enough motivation to produce the scientific work. So based on this study, it can be concluded that the training of classroom action research which is continuous and effective programmed to build capabilities and professionalism of teachers.
