Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Science Biology of Grade VIII students at Nusa Bakti Depok Junior School in the subchapter of the digestive system. The problem under investigation is the low learning outcomes of students in Biological science subjects. Cooperative learning makes a match is implemented as an alternative problem-solving. This action research was conducted on Class VII which totals all 66 people. This study uses a classroom action research consisting of experimental class and control class which is carried out with material subchapter of the digestive system. The results of the results of the evaluation of learning outcomes for the experimental class obtained an average value of 70.15 while the control class obtained an average value of 54.24. The experimental class higher the learning result value of 15.91. From the result of processing with Wilcoxon test, abstracted amount of negative ranks equal to 94 and positive ranks equal to 402. Furthermore at table of statistics test obtained price Z = -3, 025 and p-value = 0,002 <0,05 or H0 rejected. Thus, the method of make match influences the learning outcomes of the biology science in school. Based on the results of data analysis with spss 20 can be concluded that: (1) Learning outcomes with making a math method are higher than conventional methods. (2) The application of making a math method influences the learning outcomes of Science Biology in junior high. (3) The application of cooperative makes a match learning can improve the learning outcomes of Biology of VIII grade students of SMP Nusa Bakti Depok.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, make amatch, model pembelajaran kooperatif, penerapan

Abstract

Introducing of Milkfish (Chanos chanos) was aimed to utilize natural food from plankton that were abundant in Ir. H. Juanda Reservoir, West Java. This research aimed to know plankton utilization by Milkfish in Ir. H. Juanda Reservoir, West Java. The research was conducted from February to July 2010 at 4 stations of sampling which representing the reservoir condition. The fishes collected based on the catch of fishermen. The sample was analyzed in physiology laboratory of Center Research for Limnology. The result of this research showed that the main food were plankton 43%, detritus 46%, and complement food were vegetation 11%. The domination food from the phytoplankton were Bacillariophyceae and zooplankton were Copepoda.

Abstract

Perkembangan Sains dan teknologi dewasa ini menuntut manusia terus berkembang menyesuaikan diri&nbsp; dalam segala aspek kehidupan. Salah satu aspeknya adalah aspek pendidikan yang sangat menentukan maju dan mundurnya suatu bangsa. Pendidikan sains memiliki peran yang penting dalam menyiapkan anak bangsa memasuki dunia kehidupannya. Pendidikan sains memiliki peranan strategis dalam menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas untuk menghadapi era globalisasi ini. Potensi ini akan dapat terwujud jika pendidikan sains mampu melahirkan siswa yang cakap dalam bidangnya dan berhasil menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir logis, berpikir kreatif, kemampuan memecahkan masalah, bersifat kritis, menguasai teknologi serta adaptif terhadap perubahan dan perkembangan zaman. Literasi sains merupakan tolak ukur keberhasilan &nbsp;pembelajaran sains di sekolah. Dalam proses pencapaian itu diperlukan bahan ajar yang mengedepankan aspek proses seperti body of knowledge, way of think, way of investigating, interaction of social&nbsp; science and technologi. Dengan mengedepankan aspek-aspek ini dalam buku pembelajaran sains, khususnya buku ajar biologi maka pembelajaran sains biologi di sekolah menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Character education is the answer to addressing the problems of the nation's life at this time, through this education students will have a better attitude in accordance with the purpose of education which is to form a noble personality. to be a man of faith and devotion to God Almighty, noble, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and a democratic and responsible citizen, as mandated in Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. Biology is a lesson that studies all living things in this world. Biology is also a science that can change one's mindset to be scientific because it uses rational, empirical and universal reasoning. Although universal, biology can also build religious characters that may not be universal. Because biology is also systematically told in the scriptures. Scripture justifies the natural processes that occur. Like the Koran is a divine revelation that can increase the faith and devotion of the faithful. So that biology can be one way to improve religious character other than worship activities, listening to lectures or reading books. The problem is how to see the relationship between biology and religious values ​​and how to build character values ​​through biology. The improvement of religious character through biology is by providing additions to biological material with the holy verses of the Koran which are relevant to the content of the discussion on the biological material. As the discussion on reproductive material is related to the Al-Quran verse Al-Mu'minun verse 14 and the material for the classification of living things is explained in Al-Quran Surat An-nur verse 5.Pendidikan karakter menjadi jawaban menyikapi problematika kehidupan bangsa saat ini, melalui pendidikan ini siswa akan memiliki sikap yang lebih baik sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan yaitu membentuk kepribadian yang berahlak mulia. menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dan menjadi warga negara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab, seperti yang diamanatkan dalam UU no 20 tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Biologi adalah pelajaran yang mempelajari seluruh mahluk yang hidup di alam ini.Biologi juga merupakan ilmu yang dapat merubah pola pikir seseorang menjadi ilmiah karena menggunakan nalar rasional, empirikdan juga bersifat universal.Walaupun bersifat universal, biologi juga dapat membangun karakter religius yang mungkin tidak universal.Karena biologi juga diceritakan secara sistematis di dalam kitab suci. Kitab suci menjadi pembenaran akan proses alami yang terjadi. Seperti&nbsp; Al-Quran merupakan wahyu ilahi yang dapat meningkatkan keimanan dan ketaqwaankaum beriman.Sehingga biologi dapat menjadi salah satu cara meningkatkan karakter religius selain dari pada kegiatan ibadah, mendengarkan ceramah atau membaca buku. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana melihat hubungan biologi dengan nilai religius dan bagaimana caramembangun nilai karakter melalui biologi. Peningkatan karakter religius melalui biologi adalah dengan memberikan penambahan pada materi biologi dengan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran yang relevan dengan konten pembahasan materi biologi tesebut. Seperti pembahasan materi reproduksi dikaitkan dengan ayat Al-Quran surat Al-Mu’minun ayat 14dan materi klasifikasi mahluk hidup ada penjelasannya dalam Al-Quransurat An-nur ayat 5.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the skills of housewives Sawangan, Depok, in the use of waste cloth into brooches, necklaces, earrings, towels, and other accessories through community empowerment. Empowerment is a community effort to increase the capacity to prepare themselves for the provision of knowledge and skills. Stages empowerment counseling begins with awareness of the importance of taking wastewater to protect the environment and entrepreneurship motivation, followed by waste processing training, mentoring makes products to become independent, as well as promotional strategies. Through counseling and training, is expected to explore the potential that there is in the group of mothers in the household so that it can generate income to the household economy, either as principal or as an additional revenue, as well as a provision for opening an independent business in the creative industries. If it is implemented properly and sustained, will indirectly assist in economic growth in both the domestic and regional levels in the District Sawangan.

Abstract

The application of learning in schools emphasizes students get knowledge from their experience directly. Most of the graduates of vocational students do not go to college but the desire or interest of students for entrepreneurship is very low, therefore schools must equip students with life skills to prepare them to face life after they graduate from school. The problem of this study is how to approach the application of biointrenrenship learning to vocational students to improve life skills and interest in student entrepreneurship. This research is a research development (R &amp; D). Development of learning oriented bioentrepreneurship and tested experimental class. Data was taken by observation, questionnaire and test. Data analysis method used descriptive percentage of life skills scores and questionnaires then analyzed by paired samples test. From the results of the study, there was an increase in interest in entrepreneurship and life skills of students before and after the application of bio-entrepreneurship learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the formation of scientific attitudes of students after using jigsaw type cooperative learning and STAD (student team achievement division) in basic natural science courses. The method used in this research is to form a group of students consisting of 4-5 people to discuss a theme related to the theme of lectures. After students receive the theme from the lecturer, each group discusses it. The results showed that 91.3% curious attitude, 90.18% respect for facts, critical thinking 93.62%, 90.83% openness, 88.4% perseverance, honesty, 97.02%, responsibility 90 , 31%. From the results of the assessment showed the scientific attitude of students included in the excellent category. The conclusion of this study is that learning Basic Natural Sciences by using jigsaw cooperative learning and STAD (student team achievement division) can form scientific attitudes very well..

Abstract

Abstract. In order to increase the interest in learning physics in SMP and SMK Nusa Bhakti Sawangan Depok through robtik media, an introduction was made to the making of robotic media using line follower and robot soccer robots. The method used is to provide information in making robotic media line follower and robot soccer robots. The material provided during the workshop included the creation, management and utilization of learning media in the form of robotic media. After the activity was finished the students were given a questionnaire to determine the response of students' interest in the learning media used. From the results of this activity the results of student responses to learning media used in good categories are seen from the total score of all students, namely 1098 from the total score of 1500, in other words the interest in learning physics increases when learning activities use line follower robots and robot soccer as learning media . Then the students were enthusiastic during the activity, listening and paying attention to the explanation of the community service team and being active and happy during the process of the experimental activities. And teachers can also use robotic media to be an alternative learning media.Abstrak. Dalam rangka meningkatkan minat belajar fisika SMP dan SMK Nusa Bhakti Sawangan Depok melalui media robtik, dilakukan kegiatan pengenalan  pembuatan media robotik menggunakan robot line follower dan robot soccer. Metode yang digunakan adalah memberikan informasi dalam membuat media robotik robot line follower dan robot soccer. Materi yang diberikan saat workshop memuat pembuatan, pengelolaan, dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran  dalam bentuk media robotik. Setelah kegiatan selesai siswa diberikan angket untuk mengetahui respon minat siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Dari hasil kegiatan ini didapatkan hasil respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam kategori baik dilihat dari jumlah skor seluruh siswa yaitu 1098 dari jumlah skor maksimm 1500, dengan kata lain minat belajar fisika meningkat saat kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan robot line follower dan robot soccer sebagai media pembelajaran. Kemudian Siswa antusias selama kegiatan berlangsung, mendengarkan dan memperhatikan penjelasan tim pengabdian masyarakat serta aktif dan gembira selama proses kegiatan eksperimen. Dan guru juga dapat menggunakan media robotik menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran.

Abstract

According to the Depok City BPS in 2017 the workforce (population aged 15-64 years) sawangan district totaled 115,038 people. While the working population amounted to 77,734 people (67.6%), the remaining 37,304 people (32.4%) did not work. The magnitude of the unemployment rate, which is 32.4%, is the highest unemployment rate, the youth whose education level is only up to the level of vocational high school and does not continue to college because of work orientation. The skills possessed and the interest in entrepreneurship for vocational school graduates in Sawangan sub-district is still very low. The community service activity that will be carried out aims to equip vocational students in Sawangan sub-district with entrepreneurial or entrepreneurial skills in this case with a bioenterpreneurship approach that is by making bio-based products that have economic value and have a selling value in order to prepare them for the next life if they later graduated from vocational high school. The problem of this activity is how the approach to applying biointerpreneurship learning to vocational students in Sawangan subdistrict is able to improve life skills and entrepreneurial interests. This activity is a learning that is oriented to bioentrepreneurship that is by involving elements of entrepreneurship in biological products.
