Abstract

Microstrip slot antenna fed by matching network of microstrip line to increase very wide-bandwidth and multiband is proposed. The microstrip line composed of multi tuning stubs is used to control slots antenna real impedance to match with impwdance cahracteristic of feeding line so that it could increase the bandwidth. The design are achieves good input impedance in the ranges frequency of 1.3 - 5.1 GHz for single slot and 1.1 - 6.4 GHz for two slots. The bandwidths of antennas become very wide if the slots made in array configuration. The measured return loss S11 agrees well with the simulation results for single slot as axample. Abstract

This work discusses the development of information technology service management using cloud computing approach to improve the performance of administration system and online learning at STMIK IBBI Medan, Indonesia. The network topology is modeled and simulated for system administration and online learning. The same network topology is developed in cloud computing using Amazon AWS architecture. The model is designed and modeled using Riverbed Academic Edition Modeler to obtain values of the parameters: delay, load, CPU utilization, and throughput. The simulation results are the following. For network topology 1, without cloud computing, the average delay is 54 ms, load 110 000 bits/s, CPU utilization 1.1%, and throughput 440 bits/s. With cloud computing, the average delay is 45 ms, load 2 800 bits/s, CPU utilization 0.03%, and throughput 540 bits/s. For network topology 2, without cloud computing, the average delay is 39 ms, load 3 500 bits/s, CPU utilization 0.02%, and throughput database server 1 400 bits/s. With cloud computing, the average delay is 26 ms, load 5 400 bits/s, CPU utilization email server 0.0001%, FTP server 0.001%, HTTP server 0.0002%, throughput email server 85 bits/s, FTP server 100 bits/sec, and HTTP server 95 bits/s. Thus, the delay, the load, and the CPU utilization decrease; but, the throughput increases. Abstract

Virtual Private LAN Service is already very popular among the enterprise industry which is a point to point network or multipoint to multipoint l2VPN service, VPLS provides transparent bridge between customers connected to geographically dispersed locations delivered via MPLS backbone by utilizing features such as MPLS Fast reroute and traffic engineering. Redundant paths can be applied to the VPLS service on the access side and backbone to maintain link performance that aims to minimize down time during network fails on the VPLS service. In this research, the implementation of redundant path using RSTP to prevent forwarding loop switching network in VPLS service to protect end-to-end data traffic with VPLS mesh-pseudowire and spoke-pesudowire with RSTP is the most optimal result compared to STP and build reliable network System with high performance for use in modern industry.

Abstract

Perkembangan infrastruktur jaringan dalam navigasi penerbangan saat ini sangat pesat, sehingga diperlukan adanya suatu manajemen perangkat jaringan untuk mengelola ketersediaan ADSB dan data radar. Untuk mengelola perangkat jaringan tersebut, dibutuhkan suatu sistem seperti NMS. NMS merupakan suatu sistem untuk mengelola perangkat-perangkat jaringan berbasis IP. Untuk menjalankan NMS, dibutuhkan suatu aturan atau protokol yang mendasari sistem tersebut, protokol tersebut adalah SNMP. Protokol SNMP memungkinkan administrator untuk mengelola dan mengatur kinerja perangkat jaringan secara jarak jauh. Pada artikel ini akan dipaparkan “Implementasi Network Monitoring System untuk ADSB dan data radar Penerbangan berbasis PRTG”. Implementasi NMS ini menggunakan sebuah aplikasi yaitu PRTG. PRTG digunakan untuk memantau penggunaan bandwidth terhadap ADSB dan data radar serta memantau kondisi semua perangkat. Pengukuran berbasis SNMP hanya berbasis pada port. Software ini juga memungkinkan untuk secara cepat mempersiapkan dan menjalankan sebuah proses pemantauan untuk sebuah jaringan tertentu. Dengan PRTG ini maka dengan mudah dapat mengetahui jumlah data radar dan ADSB yang mengalir melalui perangkat router serta mengetahui kondisi semua perangkat router yang terhubung dengan PRTG serta mempercepat penanganan jika terjadi gangguan dengan adanya notifikasi.

Abstract

Redistribusi protokol routing saat ini sering dijumpai dibanyak kasus seperti penggabungan dua perusahaan atau ketika jaringan internal didalam satu Autonomous System (AS) ingin terhubung dengan internet yang terdiri dari ribuan AS yang berbeda. Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) adalah salah satu protokol routing Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) yang paling banyak digunakan, sementara Border Gateway Protokol (BGP) merupakan satu-satunya protokol routing yang digunakan di internet. Salah satu kekurangan BGP yaitu memiliki waktu konvergensi yang paling lambat dibanding yang lain [8]. Oleh sebab itu banyak penelitian dilakukan agar dapat mengurangi waktu konvergensi BGP diantaranya adalah dengan pengaturan keepalive dan hold time BGP. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi redsitribusi protokol routing OSPF dan BGP dengan mengatur nilai keepalive dan hold time BGP untuk menghasilkan waktu konvergensi yang cepat. Nilai optimal keepalive dan hold time pada penelitian ini adalah 30 detik untuk hold time dan 10 detik untuk keepalive yang menghasilkan rata-rata waktu konvergensi 28.86 detik yang lebih cepat dibanding penelitian sebelumnya [2].

Abstract

The purpose of writing is to be able to know the performance of the service based on the parameters of Quality of Service (QoS) in Computer Networking Infrastructure Sumbawa Barat Regency Government, where the research begins with the building in the Existing Scenario Simulator OPNET version 14.5 and Design Simulation results were compared with the design of the new Computer Network Infrastructure , while the process of analysis and design of the network infrastructure is built using Network Dev0elopment Life Cycle (NDLC). In the study, the data was taken based on the results of observation, interview and documentation study, which found problems in the implementation and management of e-Government in Sumbawa Barat Regency Government in the form of Condition Data exchange within and between SKPD up to this time using the media of the use of the Internet Service Provider and Computer Network Infrastructure as a whole has not been integrated. Results of the comparison Existing and Simulation Design Simulation in 3 test scenarios, simulation results show that the design has a delay, jitter and packet end to end delay is low and a high response time. Thus concluded in this study, that by using Computer Network Infrastructure Design new ones can provide convenience in the development of e-Government applications.

Abstract

In this paper, a new technique of agglomerative hierarchical clustering (AHC), which is known as SLG (single linkage dissimilarity increment distribution, global cumulative score standard), can work well in analyzing students' activity in online learning as evidenced by obtaining the highest score in testing the validity index of cophenetic correlation coefficient (CPCC) ie 0.9237, 0.9015, 0.9967, 0.8853, 0.9875 of the five datasets compared with conventional agglomerative hierarchical clustering methods.
