PENERAPAN METODE MIND MAPPING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PKn

Abstract

The research purposes were to increase student’s learning achievement of civic education by applying mind mapping method. Type of research method was classroom action research by using some cycles; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collecting techniques were observation sheet and question test. The techniques of analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the applying mind mapping method can increase motivation and student’s learning achievementof civic education.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa dengan menerapkan metode mind mapping. Jenis metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode mind mapping dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar PKn siswa. Kata kunci:  mind mapping, motivasi, hasil belajar, PKn
