Abstract

Abstract A thriving business world in Indonesia increasingly heavy in the position as the industry and employers in dealing with other industry competitors. Strategies and appropriate consideration should be owned businesses in the face of competition .PT  Raden  Gempita Travel and Tour l is one of the travel agencies in Palembang in marketing their products PT Raden Gempita Tour and Travel using the marketing mix strategy which consists of product, price, promotion, place, people, procces, physical evidence. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the marketing strategy services using the marketing mix variables were performed by the company to increase sales of tourism services. Result  of research shows that; The first, from the aspect of promotion lowest level according to 51.84% of respondents Raden Gempita Tour and Travel is still not optimal in promoting the product, this is due to the ineffectiveness of the distribution of brochures, advertisements either by newspaper, television, the Internet or in the form of billboards , Both companies can use the model of growth through horizontal integration strategy for the control of competitors. Abstract

In this study, the authors examine how the Influence of Leadership and Motivation on Employee Performance at Cermat Palembang Cooperative. In this study because the total population of only 34 people, then all employees as many as 34 people sampled by technique Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. From the results of research, There is a positive and significant influence of Leadership and Motivation together on Performance, From Table F Test above can be seen that the value of F 10.796 and the value of sig is 0.000. From the significance level value means sig <0.05 which means there is influence Motivation and Leadership together to Performance. There are positive and significant influence of Leadership on Performance, From Multiple Linear Regression Analysis table can be seen that for Leadership variable, t value = 3.658 and value sig = 0.001. From the significance level value means sig <0,05 which means there is influence of Leadership to Performance. There is a positive and significant influence Motivation on Performance, From the table of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis can be seen that for the motivation variable t value = 2.107 and the value of sig = 0.044. From the significance level value means sig <0,05 which means there is influence Motivation to Performance. Keywords: Employee Performance, Leadership, Motivation

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to know the benefit of SWOT analysis to the competitive strategy at the Jayakarta Daira Palembang By using SWOT analysis it can help the company to form the right strategy in raising the position of this hotel. The population is the Jayakartaa Daira Hotel Palembang The sample of this study is company’s report in the form of e-mail start from Desember Until February.Analysis technique in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis. It describe about the problem that will be discussed base on the theories that relates with the problem in the Jayakarta Daira Hotel Palembang clearly. The result of data analysis show that the Jayakarta Daira Hotel Palembang  has good velue at internal environment. The value of Strangths position is 31% it’s bigger than  Weaknesses position with 26%. At the external environment,  value for  Opportunities  is 23 %, it’s  bigger  than  Threats  that has 20 %. By the analysis result that is done by the authors, it can be conclude that SO Strengths- Opportunitties) strategy is more right to be applied at supports the aggressive strategy that reach the opportunities by using its own strengths. Keywords : Competitive strategy, descriptive qualitative
