Abstract

ABSTRACT The goal of this research is to know training and education programs that influence job satisfaction and the impact to employee performance in the PT.(Persero) PLN Palembang. This research was conducted by using sampling jenuh method to collect data from employee in the PT.(Persero) PLN Palembang. Data was analized by using Path Analysis. Result of this research shows that direct effect training and education and job satisfaction to employee performance is 1,875, 0,937 and 2,295. Indirect effect training and education to employee performance is 2,348 and by job satisfaction is 0,076. Influence of training and education to employee performance is 3,318, and by job satisfaction had total effect is 2,328, while influence of training and education, job satisfaction to employee performance each is 0,187, 0,937 and 2,295. The most dominant variable influencing employee performance is job satisfaction. Influence other variable outside of models to employee performance is 0,481.     Key words: Training and Education, Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance

Abstract

Abstract A thriving business world in Indonesia increasingly heavy in the position as the industry and employers in dealing with other industry competitors. Strategies and appropriate consideration should be owned businesses in the face of competition .PT  Raden  Gempita Travel and Tour l is one of the travel agencies in Palembang in marketing their products PT Raden Gempita Tour and Travel using the marketing mix strategy which consists of product, price, promotion, place, people, procces, physical evidence. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the marketing strategy services using the marketing mix variables were performed by the company to increase sales of tourism services. Result  of research shows that; The first, from the aspect of promotion lowest level according to 51.84% of respondents Raden Gempita Tour and Travel is still not optimal in promoting the product, this is due to the ineffectiveness of the distribution of brochures, advertisements either by newspaper, television, the Internet or in the form of billboards , Both companies can use the model of growth through horizontal integration strategy for the control of competitors. Abstract

Human resources is an important element in economic growth. To improve the quality of human resources then education has a very important role.This study aimed to examine the influence of the level of educational attainment on economic growth of Palembang.The data used in the form of time series in 1992-2011 to obtain a description of the influence level of educational attainment on economic growth Palembang city  with analysis OLS (Ordinary Least Square). Recursive models are used to see the effect of the level of educational attainment on economic growth Palembang CityThe results showed that the level of educational attainment, changes in GDP per capita the previous year and the change in the number of teachers the previous year significantly affect the level of educational attainment. Educational attainment level estimation results, the number of schools significantly affect education spending. Furthermore, the education expenditure estimates, the inflation rate and the unemployment rate significantly affects the GDP per capita of Palembang. Keywords: Educational achievement, Economic growth.

Abstract

ABSTRACTFormulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of Labor Discipline  and Supervision to Performance of PT. Port of Indonesia II (Persero) Branch Palembang. This case study aims to determine the effect of Labor Discipline and Supervision  of Employee Performance PT. Port of Indonesia II (Persero) Branch Palembang. In this study used probability sampling with a sample of 42 respondents. While the design of this study is the influence of relationship between variables - variables using the survey method is to look at the influence of the independent variables consist of labor discipline (X1), supervision (X2) with the performance dependent variable (Y) PT. Port of Indonesia II (Persero)Branch Palembang. The results showed that the relationship between discipline and supervision work very closely with Employee Performance. Abstract

The purpose of this research to identify and analyze the influence of leadership style and motivation on employee performance PT Wom Finance Tbk Branch Palembang. The data used are primary and secondary data with a sample of 75 employees. To determine the effect of leadership style and motivation on employee performance PT Wom Finance Open used multiple regression analysis. The research showed that there are significant positit There are significant Influence Style Leadership and Motivation on Employee Performance in PT Wom Finance Palembang. Multiple linear regression equation Y = 9.455 + 0,260 X1 + 0,243 X2 + e. independent variables go hand in hand with the dependent variable means increasing Leadership Styles and Motivation then increased the level of employee performance in PT Wom Finance Palembang. There is a significant Influence Style Leadership and Motivation in Partial (alone) the Employee Performance in PT Wom Finance. The coefficient of determination () of 0.185 indicates that employee performance can be explained by variables leadership style and motivation while the rest Explained other factors not examined. Keyword : Leadership Style, Motivation, Performance

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of involvement in arranging key performance indicator to decrease of resistance to change level towards performance target for management trainee in University X. The subject of this research is management trainee consisting of experiment group and control group. The experiment group comprised of 16 people while the control group consisted of 8 people. The subjects of this research have at least master degree, work contract, and medium to high level of resistance to change fortarget performance. The research design used pretest posttest control group design. The data collection is conducted using scale of resistance to change for taget performance. The finding of this research indicated that the involvement in arranging key performance indicator is effective in decreasing the resistance to change level towards performance target for management trainee in University X. Abstract

This study aims to know, analyze and prove the effect of the development of local songket woven fabrics and creativity of craftsmen to the interests of the people of Palembang.Sampel this study as many as 74 respondents. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research shows that there is influence of the development of the local songket woven cloth product to the interest of the people of Palembang city and there is no influence to the creativity of the craftsmen to the interest of the people of Palembang city (case study of craftsmen at Ki Gede Ing Suro Street). Multiple linear regression equation is Y = 25,607 + 0,342X1 -0,54x2. Based on the results of the test results of regression coefficient simultaneously obtained f count of 8.944 is greater than f table of 3.12. At test X1 regression coefficient partially obtained t count equal to 4,224 bigger than t table 0,235, hence development of local songket woven fabric product partially there is significant positive influence to interest of society of Palembang city. At test X2 regression coefficient partially obtained t count equal to -.309 smaller than t table 0,235. then the creativity of craftsmen partially no significant positive effect on the interest of the community of Palembang.Value coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.201 or as much as 20.1% variable interest community (Y) influenced the development of local songket woven (X1). The rest of 79.9% is influenced by other variables that are not researched. Keywords: Product development, Creativity, Interests

Abstract

Mahasiswa memiliki beragam tanggung jawab baik secara akademis maupun non akademis yang harus dijalani. Kesuksesan menjalankan berbagai peran tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh bagaimana ia dapat menikmati dan merasa bahagia dengan proses yang dijalani. Kebahagiaan atau sering diistilahkan dengan subjective well being menjadi salah satu hal yang sangat mempengaruhi kesuksesan mahasiswa dalam menjalani kehidupannya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi subjective well being, diantaranya adalah perilaku makan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan perilaku makan dengan subjective well being. Sehingga hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara perilaku makan dan subjective well being. Jumlah subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 65 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Subjective Well Being dan Eating Habit Questionnaire. Skala Subjective Well Being terdiri dari 3 sub skala, yaitu Satisfaction With Life Scale dengan 5 aitem, Positive Affect dengan 9 aitem, dan Negative Affect dengan 9 aitem. Sedangkan skala Eating Habit Questionnaire terdiri dari 21 aitem. Teknik analisis korelasi product moment digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan tersebut . Hasil penelitian dinyatakan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara perilaku makan dengan subjective well being.
