Abstract

Abstract- This research is a development that aims to develop guiding chemistry lab contextually based integrated character values, knowing improving student learning outcomes in terms of cognitive and determine student learning outcomes in terms of affective and psychomotor using guiding chemistry laboratory that has been developed , The study was conducted in Cahaya Medan high school. Samples are two classes were taken by purposive sumpling using PPKBK experimental class I and class II experiment using PP available in school study instrument is a rubric validation, test and observation sheet. Research began on analytical chemistry lab at the school guidance, development, validation, revision and test laboratory guides that have been developed. The product of research is (1) based on the analysis of chemical PP book in colloidal system materials publisher grants, Pudak Scientific, Duta Nusantara and Laskar Aksara is not in accordance with BSNP, (2) based PPKBK BSNP integrated character values is more valid than the PP chemicals used in schools, 93) there is a difference in improving student learning outcomes in terms of cognitive, that learned to use the integrated PPKBK character values of 0.73, while that learned with chemicals used PP 0,63 school, (4) there are differences in student learning outcomes in terms of psychomotor aspect that learned to use PPKBK integrated character values at 91 and that learned with PP chemicals used school at 85, while in terms of affective aspects that learned to use PPKBK integrated character values of 92 and PP with chemicals schools at 81. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine: 1). The learning outcomes differences between  students who learned with an integrated model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Internet media and Internet media integrated Direct Instruction (DI) and Direct Instruction (DI) learning. 2) The difference of character values of tolerance, communicative, confidence, respect democratic achievements and spreading among the students who learned with an integrated model of PBL and the Internet media DI teaching model integrated Internet media as well as the DI teaching model. 3) There is an interaction between the characters tolerant, communicative, confidence, appreciate spreading democratic achievements and the learning outcomes of students who learned with an integrated model of PBL and the Internet media DI teaching model integrated Internet media as well as the DI teaching model. 4) what cognitive domains spreading the students who learned with an integrated model of PBL and the Internet media DI teaching model integrated Internet media as well as the DI teaching model. The sample in this study consisted of three experimental class. Before the first treatment that has been done in the pre-test validation by a team of experts. Student learning outcomes measured by achievement test instrument using the normalized gain, while for the characters used questionnaires and observation. The analysis technique used Anacova significant at α 0,0. The hypothesis was tested using univariate general linear models. The results showed that there were significant differences in learning outcomes of students who received learning PBL model with an integrated internet and integrated Internet Direct Instruction and Direct Instruction Model .2. There are differences in character values of tolerance, communicative, confident, achievement and respect democratic spreading among the students who learned with an integrated model of PBL Internet and DI model of integrated Internet and DI. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bahan ajar kimia yang inovatif yang terintegrasi pendidikan karakter pada subjek kurikulum laju reaksi berdasarkan 2013. Bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif. Jenis penelitian termasuk dalam penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjeknya adalah laju reaksi bahan ajar subjek. Sementara itu, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 guru kimia kelas XI di Kota Medan. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sebuah penerbit bahan ajar dianalisis berdasarkan kurikulum pada 2013 oleh profesor dan guru. Hasil analisis penerbit bahan ajar berdasarkan kurikulum tahun 2013 memperoleh rata-rata 2,54 berlaku, yang berarti bahwa itu pantas dan beberapa dari isi bahan ajar perlu direvisi. Bahan mengajar yang telah dikembangkan, dinilai oleh dosen dan guru. Penilaian dilakukan dengan 2 cara, yaitu berdasarkan kurikulum tahun 2013 dan BSNP (Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan). Hasil analisis berdasarkan kurikulum tahun 2013 diperoleh rata-rata 3,60 adalah sarana yang sah sangat layak untuk digunakan dan tidak perlu direvisi. Hasil analisis berdasarkan BSNP diperoleh, aspek kelayakan isi 3,37 berlaku, itu berarti sangat layak dan tidak perlu direvisi, kelayakan bahasa 3,39 berlaku, itu berarti sangat layak dan tidak perlu direvisi, menyajikan kelayakan 3,44 berlaku, itu berarti sangat layak dan tidak perlu direvisi. Bahan mengajar yang telah disusun, kemudian diuji untuk siswa. Pengujian siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan kelas 2 kelas, eksperimen dan kontrol. Terhadap kelas eksperimen siswa diberi kimia inovatif bahan ajar telah dikembangkan, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan bahan ajar yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol gain yang dinormalisasi adalah sama dengan 0,62, sedangkan nilai kelas eksperimen rata-rata gain yang dinormalisasi sebesar 0,76.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan praktis dalam pembelajaran Asam dan Basa berdasarkan penemuan dan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek di SMA kelas XI dan menentukan efektivitas menggunakan panduan praktek yang dikembangkan dari penemuan dan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi (1) Mengetahui komponen panduan praktis berdasarkan analisis sintaks  Penemuan dan Proyek Pembelajaran Berbasis Model, (2) Merumuskan dan mengembangkan panduan praktis dalam pembelajaran Asam dan Basa sesuai dengan model sintaks Penemuan dan Proyek Pembelajaran Berbasis, (3) Standardisasi atau kelayakan Panduan Praktis untuk guru dan dosen, (4) Pelaksanaan panduan praktis untuk siswa kelas XI yang digunakan Kurikulum 2013, (5) Menganalisis efektifitas panduan praktek diuji. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan panduan praktis Penemuan Model memiliki rata-rata 3,30. Dan panduan praktis Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek memiliki rata-rata menjadi 3,59. Sedangkan efektivitas penggunaan panduan praktis penemuan dan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek itu terlihat dari peningkatan belajar siswa dalam pikiran bahwa kelas eksperimen pertama yang menggunakan panduan praktis model Penemuan memiliki nilai rata-rata 88,00 dengan kenaikan 79,3% hasil belajar. Sementara eksperimen kelas II menggunakan panduan praktis model Pembelajaran Berdasarkan Proyek memiliki nilai rata-rata 77,50 dengan kenaikan 61,7% hasil belajar. Disimpulkan bahwa panduan praktis Penemuan dan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek layak untuk digunakan sebagai panduan praktis di sekolah, dengan peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan panduan praktis Penemuan tinggi daripada menggunakan panduan praktis model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to develop practical guidance reaction rates accordingto the model of project-based learning and discovery. To know the differencesignificantly increase learning outcomes that learned by using practical guidancemodel of project-based learning and discovery. Determine the effectiveness of thatlearned how to use the guide practical model of project-based learning anddiscovery. Samples were taken by two classes of experimental class I taught usingpractical guide appropriate experimental models of discovery and class II are taughtusing practical guide appropriate project-based learning model. Before do thisresearch practical guidance has been developed, validated by lecturers and teacherswho are experts in their field and tested to school. Based on the results of thequestionnaire tabulation showed that the average value of project-based learningmodel is higher than the average value of the discovery learning model. Thusobtained that correspond practical guidance based model projects more effectivelyapplied in learning compared with corresponding practical guidance discoverylearning model. Meanwhile, after learning outcomes tested that correspond practicalguide more effective discovery learning model applied in learning compared withcorresponding practical guide project-based learning model. This is evident becausethe students in the experimental class I, which uses practical guide with models ofdiscovery in doing practical implementation to fully follow lab procedures with toolsand materials have also been provided to make the students evenly understand thelab work while in the second experiment class requires students to design ownpractice, as well as determine the tools and materials to find yourself in a group. Theapplication of such a practice models still can not fully be done in schools, becausethe ability of the students have not been evenly distributed so that in practice thereis a group of students who dominate the lab work and the other as observers only. Kata kunci:Development Guidance Practical, DiscoveryModel, Project Based Learning.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the chemistry instructional model to improve student learning outcomes, communicative and self confidence character’s for XI grade of senior high school on teaching solution chemistry. The 3 experiment class as a samples were taken by purposive random sampling respectively from 3 units of state senior high school (SMA Negeri) in Medan. These experiment class were taught by various teaching model. The experiment class-1 (Ec-1) taught by direct instruction strategy, experimen class-2 (Ec-2) by problem-based learning without media and experiment class-3 (Ec-3) by problem-based learning using the Internet media. The achievement test about solution chemistry used as instrument to know student outcomes, and quisionary and observation list used as intrument to know how communicative and confidence student characters. The one-way ANOVA in SPSS 19 for windows program used to hypothesis testing at α = 0.05 level of significance. The results shows (1) There is a significant differences of students learning outcomes between students which taught by direct instruction model, problem-based learning without media and problem-based learning model using internet media on teaching solution chemistry. (2) There is a significance differences of student communicative character between students which taught by by direct instruction model, problem-based learning without media and problem-based learning model using internet media on teaching solution chemistry. (3) There is a significance differences of student self confidence character between students which taught by by direct instruction model, problem-based learning without media and problem-based learning model using internet media on teaching solution chemistry. (4) There is a significant corelation between student communicative character with student learning outcomes in class who taught by problem-based learning using internet media. (5) There is a significant corelation between self-confident character with student learning outcomes in class who taught by direct instruction, problem-based learning without media and problem-based learning using internet media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap sejauhmana model pembelajaran kimia yang diterapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan karakter kemandirian siswa SMA. Untuk mencapai tujuan dilakukan penelitian eksperimen semu pada pembelajaran hidrokarbon di kelas X SMA. Kelas eksperimen dibagi dalam 2 kelompok yakni yang diajar dengan dan tanpa media peta pikiran, keduanya menerapkan pendekatan advance organizer. Data berupa hasil hasil belajar kimia beranah kognitif dan karakter kemandirian diperoleh dari jawaban responden atas pertanyaan yang diajukan dalam instrumen test dan non test yang sudah memenuhi persyaratan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan juga statistik menggunakan uji t satu pihak pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) model pembelajaran kimia yang memadukan strategi advance organizer dengan media peta pikiran mampu mengembangkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMA, (2) model pembelajaran kimia yang memadukan strategi advance organizer dengan media peta pikiran mampu mengembangkan karakter kemandirian siswa SMA, (3). terdapat hubungan antara karakter kemandirian dengan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media mind mapping pada model pembelajaran advance organizer. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh perbaikan pembelajaran interaktif berbasis web dan pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi dan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Materi pembelajaran pada penelitian ini adalah metabolisme karbohidrat. Penelitian ini adalah  penelitian pengembangan (development research) yang bersifat deskriptif. Pengambilan  sampel dilakukan  dengan teknik purposive sampling di jurusan kimia Unimed. Sampel yang diujicobakan sebanyak 31 orang mahasiswa semester 4. Hasil yang dilihat diperoleh dari data angket motivasi, kemandirian belajar dan respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis web. Selanjutnya hasil belajar diperoleh dari data evaluasi (pretes-postes), tugas mahasiswa, nilai formatif. Soal yang digunakan sebanyak 15 soal multiple choice dan soalnya terlebih dahulu divalidasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari angket motivasi 45.16% tergolong kategori tinggi,  kemandirian belajar 32.26% tergolong kategori tinggi, dan respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis web sebesar 51.61% tergolong kategori tinggi. Sedangkan dari hasil belajar rata-rata nilai pretes 30.90 dan postes 84.41, nilai tugas LKM rata-rata 78.60, CBR rata-rata 89.19, CJR rata-rata 80.65, nilai formatif rata-rata 87.78

Abstract

Abstract Obesity is a global epidemiology and serious healthy treat due to morbidity and mortality raised. On the whole of the adult population in the world get obese 7.7% in men and 11.9% in women. Adipose tissue accumulates on obesity functioning as endocrine gland secrets all sitokin and peptide hormones. The secretion of those sitokin and hormones play role in controlling body weight balancing and energy metabolism. Resistin an adipositokin (adipokin) secreted by  adiposit that assumes to have important role as circuit between adiposity and insulin resistance. Physical exercises could influence resistin levels and blood sugar on obesity. This research aims to identify the influence of physical exercises ((healthy heart gym) of resistin and blood sugar levels on obesity. The design of this research uses purposive sampling. The subject of the study 25 female students of 18-21 years of age of Poltekkes Nutrition Department Kemenkes Aceh. Gymnastic exercise program done with a healthy heart with a frequency of 5 times a week for 4 weeks with intensity 30 minutes. The result of pre and post resistin levels checked is analyzed both descriptively and inferentially by t test and correlation (moment/pearson).   The result of t test of and correlation found that; there is no influence physical exercises toward resistin levels at the people with obesity (p= 0, 45), there is influence physical exercises (healthy heart gym) toward blood sugar levels of the people with obesity. (p=0, 03), there is no significant influences between resistin levels and blood sugar levels of the people with obesity in pre and posttest (p=0, 26). Based on the finding above, we may conclude that the physical exercises (healthy heart gym) influences toward blood sugar levels, but it doesn’t toward resistin levels. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to obtain innovative and interactive teaching materials integrated scientific approach and involves a web-based information technology. This type of research, including research and development (research and development). Subjects were subject thermochemical teaching materials. Meanwhile, the sample used in this study consisted of 20 students majoring in chemistry chemistry education courses of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Medan and 3 lecturers basic courses at the State University of Medan. Selection of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The results of chemical analysis of teaching materials common is that the teaching materials are quite valid, but need to be developed from various aspects. Teaching materials that have been developed validated by expert validator. Assessment is done based on a standard questionnaire BSNP (National Education Standards Agency). Based on research data obtained an average of 23 respondents think that consists of 3 professors and 20 students on the quality of teaching materials developed 3.49  belonging to the criteria of a very valid means of the development of teaching materials is very feasible for use in learning. Elaboration of the overall average respondent to the quality of teaching materials developed are the average results of the assessment of General Chemistry lecturers in the amount of 3.66 and an average student assessment results Chemistry education that is equal to 3.31.
