Abstract

ABSTRACT Soccer is one of the popular sport around the world. Nowaday, Indonesia has more or less 170 soccer fields. Soccer requires fileds with excellent turfgrass which comply quality standards. This study was aimed to evaluate visual and functional qualities of soccer field, and propose recommendations related to management of soccer field that can fulfill visual and functional qualities. This study was conducted at three soccer stadiums namely Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (Jakarta), Si Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung), and Maguwoharjo Stadium (Yogyakarta). Survey and sampling methods were used together with interview method. Sampling based on parameter of visual and functional qualities. Then, analyzed by compare the data with standard quality. Planting medium and leaves samples has taken to laboratory analyzed. Grass quality of Maguwoharjo Stadium has the lowest quality than the others because the shortage of fertilizer condition in planting medium. Consequently, it affected grass growth and performance. Bades on the existing problems, some improvements of planting medium fertility were needed to get the optimal growth and performance in Maguwoharjo Stadium, such as adding the lime and compost or zeolit into planting media to increase the soil pH and CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity).Keywords: Fertilizing, mowing, planting medium, soccer grass field, visual and functional qualities

Abstract

In Article 28 of Law No. 26 Year 2007 on Spatial Planning, plan of providing and utilization of green open space are included in the spatial planning aspects of the city, where the extent of at least 30% of the area of a city. Jakarta which has a total land area of 66.233 hektare achieve, there are currently only 14,94% of the total extent of which is open space. In support of green open space program, it would require the calculation of the land area of green space appropriately, so that the remote sensing data are increasingly being used to measure green open space. This article presents a study on the utilization of Landsat 8 to analyze the vegetation index using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). NDVI employs the Multi-Spectral Remote Sensing data technique to find vegetation index, land cover classification, vegetation, water bodies, open area, scrub area, hilly areas, agricultural area, thick forest, thin forest with few band combinations of the remote sensed data. Remote sensing, especially Landsat 8 and geographic information systems (GIS) are used to obtain information about the appearance on the earth surface. From the empirical study, the class of sparse vegetation ranged from 0.1795?0.3172 (37.29% of vegetation area; 12,03% of Jakarta area), the class of medium vegetation ranged from 0.3173?0.4110 (25.36% of vegetation area; 8,18% og Jakarta area), and class of heavy vegetation ranged from 0.4111?0.7086 (37.35% of vegetation area; 12,05% of Jakarta area). Abstract

Excellent condition of soccer field was influenced by grass condition as primary factor. Indonesian soccer field which is have international standard used manila grass (Zoysia matrella). At the moment, management of soccer field does not have any standard which can be use as reference.This research was aimed to study influence of difference composition planting medium, fertilizing, and mowing on the grass growth to fulfill the quality standars of visual and functional soccer field?s grass, and give recommendation of manila grass management related to planting medium, fertilizing, and mowing. This research conducted in University Farm of Bogor Agricultural University which located in Loji, Sindang Barang, West Bogor.Methods that used was planted the grass in plot area and gave the treatment according to experimental design. Observation data analysed by randomize group design with three factors to know the interaction of treatment to grass growth seen from visual and functional qualities parameter. The result shows interaction of three treatment factors was not significant. Significant influence was only detected in one or two treatment factors, but the significant influence was not seen at all in each observation variables. It was recommended for manila turfgrass using medium of sand, fertilizing 5 g/m2N, 2,5 g/m2 P2O5, and 2,5 g/m2 K2O once a months, and mowing at height of 2 cm

Abstract

Kaliurang has tourism potential and become the third most visited tourist destination in Yogyakarta after Parangtritis Beach and Prambanan Temple. This potential can be used to make Kaliurang as one of the revenue sources of regional income. For that there should be an effort to maintain the sustainability of Kaliurang as a integrated tourist area. This study aimed to plan Kaliurang landscape as a integrated tourist destination area in Yogyakarta. This study was conducted in Kaliurang with an area of 339,56 ha. The method used in this study was planning method developed by Gold (1980). The results showed that Kaliurang has potential to be planned into integrated tourist destination with physical factors such as topography, climate, land cover, high biodiversity, and existing tourism conditions. Kaliurang as a tourist area has a high quality natural scenery but supply and demand aspects as a tourist area has still low. Kaliurang has an area with a value of tourist suitability for the development of tourism activities amounted to 238.97 ha and divided into two spaces, tourism object space and tourist support space with an area of 207.65 ha and 31.31 ha respectively. The tourist space has 9 theme activities and supporting tourist space has three theme activities.Keyword :  Kaliurang, landscape planning, natural mountains, tourism, tourist destination area

Abstract

ABSTRACT Coastal Landscape Planning in Pangandaran Based on Tsunami Disaster Mitigation The Indonesian archipelago has a long coastline of about 81,000 km. Some coastal areas in Indonesia, classified in areas with high risk of tsunami. The objective of this research was to develop a coastal planning in Pangandaran and provide recommendations related to tsunami disaster mitigation. The tsunami ever occurred at the site studied, namely in 2006. The method used in this study is a modification of the method of planning (Gold 1980) which comprise the step of preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis, and planning. Analysis is conducted analysis of regional vulnerability to tsunamis. The results from the analysis found that Pangandaran beach is classified as an area highly vulnerable to tsunami, based on an assessment of the slope, elevation, land use, distance from the river and distance from the coast. Analysis of the suitability of the area for evacuation was conducted to determine the exact area used as a tsunami evacuation. The concept of planning is divided into space concept, the concept of activity, the concept of infrastructure, circulation concept and the concept of vegetation. The concept that there is then developed to produce a landscape plan, plan activities, circulation plan, vegetation plans, and plan infrastructure facilities. Abstract

Geopark Nasional Ciletuh terletak di Geo-area Ciletuh, saat ini sangat dipromosikan dan sedang diupayakan untuk mendapatkan pengakuan dari UNESCO sebagai Global Geopark Network (GGN) pada tahun 2016, tetapi sampai sekarang belum menerima keputusan. Geo-area Ciletuh memiliki batuan khas yang terbentuk dari dua fragmen kerak bumi, lempeng samudera dan lempeng benua. Di sisi lain, keunikan dan keindahan sumber daya alam yang dimiliki oleh Geo-area Ciletuh dapat berdampak negatif pada dirinya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi zona ekologi lanskap dan pendekatan geomorfologi sebagai cara untuk mengatasi masalah dan mengantisipasi dampak negatif di masa depan. Zona ekologis kawasan Geo-area Ciletuh tergolong sedang, yaitu 72,03% dari total luas dengan penggunaan lahan seperti pertanian, perkebunan, dan sawah. Hasil analisis morfometrik didominasi oleh relief bergelombang lemah 35,36% atau cukup curam sebesar 37,08%. Jenis utama batuan yang terkandung (diurutkan berdasarkan kekuatan struktur) adalah Batu Breksi Tufa (37,09%), Batupasir Kwarsa (13,80%), Batupasir Gamping (6,89%), Batupasir Tufa (15,53%), Tanah Liat (22,62%, dan Pantai). Aluvial Sludge (4,07%).

Abstract

Sambas Kecil River area in Sambas City is a center of city growth, business, fishery, agriculture, and circulation of the society. The High intensity of utilization and the rapid development in the city, created degradation of the quality of the river and decreased the urban view, human health, transportation, social culture, economic, and recreation activity.This study aims to characterize the utilization and landscape plan based on benefit value for sustainability of Sambas River areas. The method that used was descriptive both qualitative and quantitative. Planning was used process and stages by Gold (1980). The result of analysis showed that the Sambas Kecil River area divided by three ecological sensitivities i.e. low (12.6 km), moderate (17.8 km), and high (12.6 km). The high sensitivity dominated by forest, the moderate dominated by agriculture and settlement, and the low dominated by settlement. Variety of activities are divided into three aspects i.e. social aspect, cultural aspect, and economic aspect. This planning based on benefit value of ecological and sustainability for Sambas Kecil River area and able to restore and maintain the natural character of the river. The result of integration of the river character and utilization created three plan models i.e. natural, semi-natural, and built areas of the development river landscape plan. This plan is expected to restore the value of the benefits of the river through the area management by local communities so they can feel directly the benefits from the existence of the river, and they will able to preserve the river sustainably.

Abstract

Pekanbaru Government is currently increasing development to provide the activities of population needs. One of the development activities undertaken is development in the tourism sector. Bandar Khayangan Lake located in the district of Rumbai Pesisir, Pekanbaru City. The area has the potential of natural resources that can be used as a tourist attraction. Development of the area can cause damage the environment so that is necessary to provide a plan that can maintain the sustainability of this area. This research aims to analyzing and optimize the potential of Bandar Khayangan Lake and make a plan to create sustainable tourism areas. The result of research shows that most of the area is suitable to be used as tourist destination. Based on the analysis to keep the area sustainable, Bandar Khayangan Lake is divided into three zones between intensive zones, semi-intensive zones and non-intensive zones. The landscape plan consist of space plan, circulation, activities and facilities, and vegetation.
