Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to decribe metacognition activity of male and female students in mathematics problem solving. This research was a qualitative research which used case study method. The subject of the research was 7th students of SMP Negeri 1 Nanggulan. The subject selection criteria was based on students opinion expressing competency either in spoken and written form. The data was collected using think aloud method where the students were asked to express their ideas and questions loudly in mathematical problem solving processes. Then the time triangulation was run to produce a valid data from the research subject. The data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman model. The result of research showed : 1) the metacognition activity of the male students are : a) understanding the problems phase : perform activities related to strategic knowledge; b) devising a plan phase : perform activities associated with knowledge about cognitive tasks; c) carrying out the plan phase : perform activities related to strategic knowledge and associated with knowledge about cognitive tasks; d) looking back phase : perform activities related to knowledge strategy and perform activities associated with self-knowledge. 2) the metacognition activity of the female students are : a) understanding the problems phase: perform activities related to strategic knowledge and perform activity associated with self-knowledge; b) devising a plan phase : perform activity associated with knowledge about cognitive tasks; c) carrying out the plan phase : perform activity related to strategic knowledge and associated with knowledge about cognitive tasks; d) looking back phase: perform activities related to strategic knowledge and  perform activity associated with self-knowledgeKeywords: metacognition, mathematics problem solving, gender

Abstract

It is known that piper leaves (sirih) from Piper betle Linn has been used traditionally as medicine, for example for mouthwash and wound curing. The usage of hand gels antiseptic preparation was getting increased in the current time as the incidence of desease caused by virus and bacteria like SARS appears.This research was aimed to develop preparation of hand gels from piper leaves extract obtained from extraction with hot water. The formulation of gels were made using 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% of piper leaves extract in Carbopol gel base. The evaluation of antiseptics activity was carried out using the Replica method. A series of test was done by pouring the gels at hand palm and slightly tap the thumb fingerprint to nutrient agar media. The media was incubated at 37°C for 24 hours,and the number of colonies of microorganism was counted. The antiseptic activity of the gels also compared with two hand gels antiseptic preparation containing ethanol and triclosan as antiseptic agentThe result showed that the piper leaves extract gels had a transparent pale yellow performance. The gel preparation with concentration of 15% extract had activity to reduce the microorganism of skin normal flora up to 50%. Yet the 25% concentration of piper leave extract could eliminate all the microorganism. It was also known that the 15% piper leaves extract gel had no significance different with the ethanol preparation, since the 20% and 25% piper leaves extract gels had similar antiseptic activity to the triclosan preparation.Key words: piper leaves extract, gel, antiseptic activity, replica methods

Abstract

AbstrakLayanan pesan singkat atau yang dikenal sebagai SMS, merupakan salah satu cara untuk berkomunikasi oleh para pengguna telepon genggam. SMS terdapat dua macam yaitu sms spam dan sms ham. SMS yang masuk kedalam kotak pesan banyak mengandung SMS yang merupakan spam. Komparasi algoritma Support Vector Machine, Naïves Bayes dan C4.5 untuk klasifikasi sms ini, untuk mengetahui algoritma mana yang memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi. Dapat dilihat dari hasil pengklasifikasian dengan menggunakan 3 metode aplikasi data mining untuk sms berbahasa Indonesia dengan jumlah data sms 200. Akurasi yang didapat dengan menggunakan Naïves Bayes yaitu sebesar 95.00%, sedangkan yang menggunakan Support Vector Machine sebesar 76.00% dan dengan C4.5 akurasi didapat sebesar 95.50%.Katakunci: Klasifikasi SMS, Support vector Machine, Naïves Bayes, C4.5 AbstractShort message service or known as a text message , is one way to communicate by users mobile phone. SMS there are two kinds of the sms junk and sms human rights. The sms in to the inbox message contain many the sms is junk. Comparation algorithm Support Vector Machine, Naïves Bayes and C4.5 for the classification of sms, to know algorithm which is highly accurate. Can be seen from classification with use 3 method data mining aplication for sms Indonesian with the amount of data sms 200. Abstract

Terdapatnya aplikasi yang memudahkan untuk mengetahui ulasan dari suatu tempat atau makanan membuat pembaca dengan mudah menentukan tempat untuk mereka berwisata kuliner. Ulasan yang diberikan terdiri dari ulasan positif dan ulasan negatif. Algoritma Naive Bayes berbasis Particle Swarm optimization dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan akurasi. Dataset yang digunakan berupa review restoran yang dibagi menjadi 2 class yaitu class positif dan class negatif, data diujikan menggunakan 10 Fold Cross Validation. Analisis sentimen review restoran menggunakan Algoritma Naive Bayes berbasis Particle Swarm Optimization menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 82.45%. Hasil ini lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan algoritma Naive Bayes saja yang menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 74.34%.

Abstract

Abalon (Haliotis asinina) adalah salah satu bahan makanan yang lezat dan memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi serta merupakan sumber protein. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar protein abalon (Haliotis asinina) asal Kecamatan Dako Pemean Kabupaten Tolitoli dan pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber  belajar. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif eksploratif.Data kadar protein diperoleh melalui analisis Kjedhal mikro dengan tiga tahapan yaitu destruksi, destilasi dan titrasi pada lima sampel.Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan nilai  rata-rata kadar protein abalon (Haliotis asinina) pada bahan basah sebesar 60,79%.Setelahmelalui validasi tim ahli yaitu ahli isi, desain dan media serta 30 mahasiswa penguji, layak dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar berupa poster dengan persentase kelayakan sebesar 76,30% Kata Kunci: Kadar Protein,Haliotis asinina, Sumber Belajar.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a text analysis to identify an opinion. Public opinion or reviews are important for visitors who will travel to tourist because of the reviews will produce information about the destination. One of the tourist attractions in Indonesia that Taman Mini Indonesia Indah one of the tourist attractions that has extraordinary. Reviews about Taman Mini Indonesia Indah make it difficult for visitors to draw conclusions about information about Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Therefore a classification method in study with Naïve Bayes and PSO methods. In study using data as many 50 positive reviews and 50 negative reviews where the results of accuracy obtained using the Naïve Bayes method of 70% while the accuracy of using Naïve Bayes and PSO is 94,02%.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Nanopartikel merupakan partikel dengan rentang ukuran diameter antara 1 - 1000 nm. Nanopartikel Artesunat-Khitosan diformulasikan menjadi nanopartikel menggunakan metode gelasi ionik-pengering beku ditujukan untuk melindungi bahan obat dari peruraian selama proses pembuatan. Untuk memperoleh produk dari pengeringan beku yang baik, optimasi lioprotektan sangat diperlukan. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari karakteristik fisik nanopartikel Artesunat-Khitosan yang diformulasikan dengan tiga lioprotektan yang berbeda: sukrosa, trihalosa dan maltodekstrin menggunakan metode pengeringan beku. Metode: Pembuatan nanopartikel dilakukan menggunakan gelasi ionik dengan tripolifosfat sebagai crosslinker. Evaluasi nanopartikel kering meliputi: morfologi, sifat fisik, spektrum inframerah dan redispersabilitas. Hasil: Data deferential thermal analysis (DTA) menunjukkan, penambahan lioprotektan menjebak artesunat dalam sistem nanopartikel chitosan, dimana formula tanpa penambahan lioprotektan tidak ditemukan artesunat di dalam matriks chitosan. Pemeriksaan morfologi menggunakan scanning electron microscopy (SEM) menunjukkan nanopartikel dengan 2,5% maltodextrin memiliki permukaan yang halus dan bentuk yang speris. Selain itu, maltodextrin menunjukkan efek perlindungan selama pengeringan beku, laju pengendapan yang lebih lambat dan kemampuan untuk redipersi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan sukrosa dan trehalosa. Lioprotektan dengan konsentrasi tinggi menunjukkan redispersibilitas nanopartikel artesunat-chitosan yang lebih baik. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penambahan lyoprotectant mempengaruhi karakterisitik nanopartikel artesunat-chitosan.

Abstract

Proteins are unstable molecules because of their complex structure and easily degraded by enzymatic systems. Biodegradable microspheres have been used in protein delivery system. Bovine serum albumin was chosen as a model protein. Chitosan/tripolyphosphate microparticles have already been used to encapsulated BSA. The aim of this work was to microencapsulate these protein-CS/TPP by ionic gelation and freeze-drying. The morphology, particle size, and encapsulation efficiency of the prepared microspheres were investigated. The results revealed that the microspheres exhibited good sphericity with ranged in size from 2.25 to 2.73 µm. The study found that the moisture content of microspheres was 2.8%, the encapsulation efficiency of BSA in CS-TPP microspheres ranged from 88.14 to 96.25%. The results suggested that iontoropic gelation method will be an effective method for fabricating chitosan microspheres for delivery of protein.. Keywords: Microspheres, BSA, Ionic Gelation

Abstract

Nowadays promotions and transactions via the internet are not uncommon, many companies have used the internet as a medium of promotion and even transactions online, because using a website is believed to be able to expand the area of promotions and transactions that do not know the time and place. The wider the range of promotions, the greater the chance of a transaction, which can be done from anywhere and at any time with the condition of being connected to the internet network, so as to provide convenience for both the customer and the company. Likewise with hotels that already use internet facilities, it can make it easier for customers to know what types of rooms are available and can make reservations online. In addition, customers can look at room types and find out information about room facilities offered. The author uses the RAD model to design a web-based hotel reservation program.
