Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual berseting kooperatif, dan menelaah apakah tedapat perbedaan self confidence siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual berseting kooperatif, serta menganalisis apakah terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan representasi matematis dengan self confidence siswa.Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Sampel adalah 67 siswa kelas X yang berasal dari dua kelas di salah satu SMK di Cimahi. Kedua kelas diberikan pretes dan postes. Kelas eksperimen 1 yaitu kelas X Akuntansi 1 dan eksperimen 2 yaitu kelas X Akuntansi 2 diberikan angket berupa selft confidence siswa. Hipotesis diuji melalui uji parametrik (Uji-t), Mann Whitney dan juga uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual berseting cooperative script; tidak tedapat perbedaan self confidence siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual berseting cooperative script; dan terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan representasi matematis dengan self confidence siswa. Kata kunci: Pendekatan kontekstual, cooperative script, kemampuaran representasi matematis siswa, dan self confidence  ABSTRACT This research purposed to analyze the differences of mathematical representative ability between students who receiving mathematics learning through contextual approach and contextual approach which setting cooperative script. Furthermore, this research analyzed the differences of self confidence between both of the classes and correlation between self confidence and mathematical representative ability. This research is a quasi experimental study which the design is control group non-equivalent. There were 67 samples from tenth grade that derived from two classes at one of the SMK in Cimahi. The students in both of the classes were given questionnaire which quaestions are about self confidence. The result showed: there are not the differences of mathematical representative ability between students who receiving mathematics learning through contextual approach and contextual approach which setting cooperative script; there are not the differences of self confidence between students who receiving mathematics learning through contextual approach and contextual approach which setting cooperative script; and there are the correlation between self confidence and mathematical representative ability. Keywords: contextual approach, cooperative script, mathematical representative ability, and self confidence

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of students’ mathematical problem posing ability and mathematical disposition through the strategy of Formulate-Share-Listen-Create (FSLC) on probability concept. The method used in this research is the experimental method, with the design of pretest-posttest control group. The population is all students of the vocational high school in Cimahi, while the sample was selected two classes from one of the vocational high school selected at random. The instrument of a test in the form of description is used to measure students’ mathematical problem posing ability, while the non-test instrument is questionnaire of mathematical disposition scale. The results showed (1) The mathematical problems posing of the students who obtained FSLC learning strategy is better than that of those who obtained conventional one; (2) The improvement of mathematical problems posing of the students who obtained FSLC learning strategy is better than that of those who obtained conventional one; (3) The mathematical disposition of students who obtained  FSLC learning strategy is better than that of those who obtained conventional learning.

Abstract

Visual Basic Application for Excel is a simple program language and has the power to process data quickly. The utilization of math functions in Microsoft Excel can help work on Excel display more interactive so that teachers can create props inside Excel. The advantages of Microsoft Excel than other mathematical software are the many math functions and images available in the form of shapes or pictures. The availability of VBA, math and image functions in Microsoft Excel help teachers to design the creation of media related to mathematics learning, especially to develop the ability of junior high school students who have difficulty to connect mathematics lessons with basic mathematics knowledge requirements. By using VBA for Excel, the ability of junior high school students to improve in the usual way significantly with a t-test with 0.006 <0.05.  Furthermore, there is an association between the students’ self-confidence and their mathematical comprehension skills with a contingency coefficient of 0.525 including a moderate association.

Abstract

In general, that most students in Indonesia have not solved mathematical problems, therefore, by using VBA for Excel the ability of junior high school students to improve in the usual way significantly with a t-test with 0.006 <0.05 and there is an association between Trust self-comfidence student with students mathematical comprehension skills with a contingency value with a significant amount of 0.016 <0.05 with a contingency coefficient of 0.525 including a moderate association.

Abstract

Abstrak: Matematika memiliki peranan penting dalam tercapainya tujuan pendidikan. Salah satu kemampuan yang dapat meningkatkan ketercapaian tujuan dalam belajar matematika yakni kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan kemampuan tingkat tinggi yang penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Indikator dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah adalah; (1) Mengidentifikasi data diketahui, data ditanyakan, dan kecukupan data untuk pemecahan masalah; (2) Mengidentifikasi strategi yang dapat ditempuh; (3) Menyelesaikan model matematika disertai alasan; dan (4)Memeriksa kebenaran solusi yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dan bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah ditinjau dari tiga aspek kesalahan yaitu; (1) Kesalahan Konseptual; (2) Kesalahan Prosedural; dan (3) Kesalahan Teknik. Subyek yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 47 Bandung. Bentuk pengambilan data yaitu pemberian soal tes dengan indikator berbeda pada setiap butir soal dn wawancara pada subyek yang terpilih.  Dari rekapitulasi perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, didapat bahwa persentase kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan siswa yakni kesalahan prosedural, dimana siswa masih melakukan kesalahan pada langkah pengerjaan dalam menyelesaikan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Kesalahan ini disebabkan siswa tidak teliti dalam langkah pengerjaan dan menganggap bahwa beberapa langkah tidak perlu dituliskan secara lengkap. Dari sampel yang diteliti, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis masih harus ditingkatkan. Kata Kunci: Analisis Kesalahan, Pemecahan Masalah

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah perbedaan kemampuan n penalaran matematis mahasiswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model SSCS tanpa bantuan geogebra, model SSCS dengan bantuan Software Geogebra 4.4 dan pembelajaran biasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2016 sebanyak tiga kelas pada mata kuliah Geometri Euclid. Dari ketiga kelas tersebut, satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen 1, satu kelas sebagai eksperimen 2 dan satu kelas lagi sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu  terdapat perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis  antara mahasiswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran SSCS tanpa Geogebra, model SSCS berbantuan Geogebra dan model pembelajaran biasa. Kemampuan penalaran matematis tergolong cukup baik.Kata Kunci : Penalaran Matematis, Model Search-Solve-Create-Share, Geogebra 4.4.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematik antara siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan pendekatan creative problem solving dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan pendekatan konvensional, selain itu menelaah peningkatan kemampuan self efficacy antara siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan pendekatan creative problem solving dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan pendekatan konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK di Kota Cimahi, sampel dipilih menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematik siswa SMK yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan creative problem solving lebih baik daripada yang  yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa, serta peningkatan self efficacy siswa SMK yang pembelajarannya menggunakan creative problem solving lebih baik dari pada yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. Kata Kunci : pendekatan creative problem solving, penalaran matematik, self efficacy ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to examine the improvement of mathematical reasoning ability among the students whose learning with creative problem solving approach compared with the students whose learning with conventional approach, besides studying the enhancement of self efficacy ability among the students with the creative problem solving approach compared with the students who study with conventional approach. This research is a quantitative research with quasi experimental method. The subjects of this study were stuents of SMK in Kota Cimahi, the sample was selected into two classes, namely experimental class and control class. Based on the result of data analysis, it is concluded that the improvement of mathematical reasoning ability of vocational students whose learning using creative problem solving approach is better than those using ordinary learning, as well as improving self efficacy of vocational students whose learning using creative problem solving is better than using ordinary learning. Keywords: creative problem solving approach, mathematical reasoning, self efficacy

Abstract

This research was motivated to analyze students mathematical connection skills. This research is a study that uses qualitative descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were class XII students totaling 20 students in one of the Cimahi City Aliyah Madrasas. The stages of this research start from the process of planning, implementation, and observation. The instrument question of mathematical connection ability that is given is a question that has been tested for validation by mathematicians totaling 3 questions. From the results of the research that has been carried out there are difficulties in students difficulties in solving the existing problem questions. Students who have low level of ability, difficulty factors that occur among them students have not been able to connect existing topics in mathematics, students also have not been able to understand mathematics with other sciences, and students also have not been able to apply mathematics in everyday life

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pada materi lingkaran dengan pengkategorian tingkat perjenjangan Tidak Kreatif (TKBK 0), Kurang Kreatif (TKBK 1), Cukup Kreatif (TKBK 2), Kreatif (TKBK 3), dan Sangat Kreatif (TKBK 4) berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang diukur melalui kefasihan, fleksibilitas, dan kebaruan. Subyek yang digunakan adalahsiswa kelas IX di satu SMP Negeri Cipeundeuy.Bentuk pengambilan data yaitu pemberian 5 butir soal tes tertulis dan wawancara pada subyek terpilih.Berdasarkan hasil analisis, siswa hanya mampu mencapai kategori TKBK 0, TKBK 1, dan TKBK 2 dengan persentase yang berbeda-beda pada tiap butir soal. Siswa tidak mampu mencapai TKBK 3 dan TKBK 4 dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang diberikan. Kata kunci: Tingkat Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, materi lingkaran

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student learning interest on mathematics learning. The research method used in this study was to use the survey method. The sample size was 30 students, the researchers conducted a statement of questionnaire regarding student learning interest with the number of statements 15 positive and negative questionnaire statements. Based on the results of the questionnaire data calculation, students are more likely to dislike learning mathematics and have the results of acquisition data with a percentage of 60%. The effect of the causes of students not liking mathematics is the learning time factor that is nearing the time of going home from school so that it influences the concentration of students' mathematics learning during class hours. But students have an interest in working on math questions given by the teacher with the results of as much as 42%.
