Abstract

Teachers have a very significant role in improving the quality of education, notably at the level of basic education that equips students with the ability to provide basic knowledge and skills. Teacher working group of Hinduism which is as a spot for teachers of Hinduism at the elementary school level in professional teacher training and helping to solve problems faced in carrying out the learning process needs to get the attention of various parties. Therefore, this paper attempted to examine the teacher's competency in relation to the teacher working group with the title of “Improving the Quality of Competency of Hindu Religion Teachers through Teacher Working Group in Denpasar City”. This paper used the qualitative research method, the location of the research was in the Hindu teacher working group spot in Denpasar City, the type of data was descriptive, with primary and secondary data sources, the informant determination techniques used purposive sampling technique, data collection methods used observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation, as well as used data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that, first, the form of activity of the Hindu Teachers Working Group in Denpasar, namely holding workshops, conducting routine meetings, and carrying out Tirtayatra. Second, the constraints and efforts made in improving the competence of Hinduism teachers are human resources and infrastructure. By Karen, the struggles made were to hold workshops as an effort to promote the human resources of teachers as professionals, and efforts to rent places and infrastructure so that activities could run well. Third, the role of the teacher working group in improving the competence of Hindu religion teachers is to play a role in four Hindu religious teacher competencies, namely pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence.

Abstract

Pura Besakih merupakan pura terbesar di Bali, adapun bangunan suci yang paling utama di Pura Besakih adalah Pelinggih Padmatiga yang berada di areal Penataran Agung Pura Besakih. Bentuk Pelinggih Padmatiga yang berada pada Penataran Agung Pura Besakih terdiri dari empat bagian yaitu : bagian dasar (altar), bagian kaki yang disebut tepas, badan atau batur dan kepala yang disebut sari. Pada  bagian-bagiannya terdapat ornament seperti : karang asti, naga anantaboga, naga basuki, Naga tatsaka, karang boma, karang paksi, candrasangkala, karang goak, simbar, karang asti/gajah, dan burung garuda, bedawang nala, serta pepalihan. Fungsi Pelinggih Padmatiga yang berada pada Penataran Agung Pura Besakih mempunyai fungsi yaitu : fungsi pemujaan,  fungsi estetika, fungsi sebagai sumber kesucian dan kerahayuan bagi umat Hindu, dan fungsi pemersatu umat. Makna Pelinggih Padmatiga yang berada pada Penataran Agung Pura Besakih mempunyai makna filosofis.Kata Kunci : Pelinggih Padmatiga, Bentuk, Fungsi, dan Makna.

Abstract

The Barong Bauh-Bauhan Tradition in Banjar Pinda Saba Village Blahbatuh District Gianyar Regency is very unique, the uniqueness lies in the process, usually the barong chasing the children, but in the barong Bauh-bauhan tradition of chasing the barong. The problems that will be discussed are (1) what is the procession of Barong Bauh-bauhan tradition, (2) what is the function of Barong Bauhuhan tradition in Banjar Pinda and (3) what is the value of Hindu religion education contained in Barong Bauh-bauhan tradition. This study aims to determine (1) to know the procession of Barong Bauh-Bauhan tradition. (2) to know the function of Barong Bauh-Bauhan tradition. (3) to know the value of education of Barong Bauh-Bauhan tradition.The theory used to analyze the problem is the theory: the theory of Religion from Otto, Structural Functional theory of Tallcot Parsons and Value theory, from Louis Kattsof. Research subjects are Banjar Pinda community, the object is Barong Bauh-Bauhan tradition, participant observation data collection method, structured interview and literature. The collected data was analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis method with reduction measures, data presentation and conclusion.The results showed that the first Barong Bauh-bauhan procession was performed based on three stages: (1) preparation stage consisting of: (a) ngayah, (b) nangiang, (c) ngelinggihan (d) ngias and (e) (2) the stage of execution of this stage is the Barong Bauh-Bauhan tradition in Bale Banjar Pinda, (3) the closing stage, the stage where the barong barong used in the Barong Bauh-bauhan tradition is saved back to the gedong penyimpenan. The two functions of Barong Bauh-bauhan tradition are: (a) religious function (b) Cultural preservation function (c) Religious social function (d) aesthetic function and the three values of education are: devotion value, harmony value, obedience value.

Abstract

Every religious teaching has a holy place to worship. Pura is a holy place for Hindus used to worship to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. In each village Pakraman in Bali has a temple that certainly has a certain background and function so there are several types of temples, one of which is Pura Beji Pasekan which is a general shelter temple but also a Pura Kahyangan Village. Pura Beji Pasekan also has uniqueness, because it is functioned as a place of purification of pratima, nunas tamba (treatment) and melukat (cleansing) other uniqueness that is a source of springs in the temple area sourced from a bamboo tree that has a very clear source of water , until now the knowledge of the people of Desa Pakraman Akah the source of the water has never been dry even in the dry season. The source of the spring is a source of life for the people of Pakraman Akah Village. The uniqueness is the background of researchers to further explore about Pura Beji Pasekan through research entitled "Existence Pura Beji Pasekan in Pakaman Akah Village, Klungkung Sub-district, Klungkung Regency (Hindu Religious Education Perspective)".Issues to be discussed include: (1). How is the existence of Pura Beji Pasekan in Pakraman Akah Village, Klungkung Sub-district, Klungkung Regency? (2). What is the function of Pura Beji Pasekan in Pakraman Akah Village, Klungkung Sub-district, Klungkung Regency? (3). What are the values of Hindu religious education found in Pura Beji Pasekan in Pakraman Akah Village, Klungkung Sub-district, Klungkung Regency?The theories used to analyze the problem are: (1). The existentialist theory of Kierkegaard. (2). The structural functional theory of Talcott Parsons. (3). The value theory of John Dewey. Data collection methods used in this study are participant observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The collected data was analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis method with reduction measures, data presentation and conclusion.The results showed (1). Existence of Pura Beji Pasekan in Pakraman Akah Village Klungkung Sub-district, Klungkung Regency. The history of Pura Beji Pasekan begins with the discovery of springs in the area of Pura Beji Pasekan. Pura Beji Pasekan disungsung by all krama Desa Pakraman Akah. The implementation of piodalan at Pura Beji Pasekan is held every once a year which falls on Rahina Purnama Sasih Fifth. (2). The function of Pura Beji Pasekan consists of the purification function, the function of welfare, the religious social function, the function of education and the function of ecological preservation. (3). The values of Hindu religious education contained in Pura Beji Pasekan. namely, the value of education sradha, the value of education gotong-royong (ngayah), and the value of aesthetic education.

Abstract

The success of an education is largely determined by many factors, some of the factors in supportingthese successes are the quality of human resources (HR), facilities, infrastructure, and the curriculum used. The change in curriculum requires teachers to understand and be able to implement all these changes in the learning process in the classroom, but not many teachers understand and are able to implement these changes in learning activities, especially in the use of learning methods. Therefore, this paper will attempt to examine the Sad Dharma method of learning of Hindu religious education and character entitled "Sad Dharma as a Learning Method of Hindu Religious Education and Character of 2013 Curriculum in SMPGurukula Bangli". This paper used qualitative research methods, the location of research was in SMP Gurukula Bangli, the type of data was descriptive data with primary and secondary data sources, informant determination techniques used purposive sampling technique, data collection methods used observation, interview, library study, and documentation techniques, and used data analysis techniques and presentation techniques of data analysis results. Based on the tests which were carried out, it could be stated that the Sad Dharma method was applied in its entirety starting from the dharma wacana, dharma tula, dharma santi, dharma gita, dharma sadhana, and dharma yatra. Constraints faced by its implementation were teacher, facilities, and curriculum. The implications of the implementationof Sad Dharma learning methods were the implications for spiritual attitudes, implications for social attitudes, implications for cognitive/knowledge and implications for psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

Health of human reproduction is one of the important things that must be considered as a repair tool for women, the development of the age is increasing, the development of reproductive health disease is very worrying as much we hear now. Health tools must be considered by caring for medical devices themselves. There are many kinds of treatments offered for modern health care. In the religion of sexuality there is a lot of it in the ancient manuscripts which know less, one of them is Lontar Rukmini Tattwa The results of the study: (1) Sexology in Lontar Rukmini Tattwa contains various kinds of health ingredients for self-care and also intimate organs in both men and women. Judging from the contents of the palm leaf, the sexology in Lontar Rukmini Tattwa is a sexology about the health of intimate organs and treatments for the health and beauty of the body. In Lontar Rukmini Tattwa there are approximately 157 types of herbs used to treat self and intimate organs. From approximately 157 types of herbs, the authors group them into 6 types of potions related to their activities, including (1) male and female, 2 ) Potions for beauty care, (3) Potions for bodily ailments, (4) Potions during intercourse, (5) Passion concoctions, (6) Potions to get help. The ingredients in Lontar Rukmini Tattwa use most of the medicinal plants, among others, laos, pepper, manjakane, turmeric, ginger, meeting comedy, temu ireng, sugar cane, grass puzzles, agave, lotus plants, lace. The values contained in Lontar Rukmini Tattwa are Theological Values, Ethical Values, and Social Values.
