Abstract

البحث في مشكلة استخدام القاموس عربي-إندونيسي في ترجمة النصوص العربية إلى اللغة الإندونيسية تسببه وجود صعوبة طلاب مركز تطوير اللغات جامعة سونان كاليجاكا الإسلامية الحكومية في استخدام القاموسعربي-إندونيسي خصوصا في بحوث عن بعض الكلمات و في تحديد معانيها المناسبة في عملية ترجمة النصوص العربية أثناء التعليم. ومن البحث يعرف به مشاكل الترجمة التي تخرج من استخدام القاموس في ترجمة النصوص العربية. وهذا البحث الميداني بطريقة تحليل البحث الكمية. ودلت نتائج البحث على أنّ 66،67% من الطلاب هم الذين يصعبون في تحديد أصل الكلمات من القاموس، و16،67% من الطلاب هم الذين يصعبون في تحديد معاني الكلمات المناسبة في عملية الترجمة والباقي 16،67% من الطلاب هم الذين يصعبون في تحديد أصل الكلمات ومعانيها معا. أمّا الحلول المعروض هو إضافة الفرصة لتعليم قواعد اللغة العربية –العلوم الصرفية- وتكثير التمرينات وتعويد على ترجمة النصوص العربية إلى اللغة الإندونيسية تسهيلا على ايجاد أصل الكلمة العربية وتحديد معانيها المناسبة حتى يكون إنتاج الترجمة خيرا من قبل.الكلمات الرئيسية : مشكلة والقاموس والترجمة Penelitian problematika penggunaan kamus Arab-Indonesia dalam menerjemahkan teks bahasa Arab ke Indonesia ini dilatarbelakangi adanya beberapa mahasiswa Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga yang masih kesulitan dalam menggunakan kamus, terutama dalam mencari akarsuatu kata serta menentukan makna yang tepat dari kata tersebut. Dari penelitian ini diketahui berbagai masalah yang timbul mengenai penggunaan kamus dalam proses menerjemahkan teks Arab ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode analisis yang bersifat kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 66,67% mahasiswa mengatakan sulit dalam menentukan akar kata dalam kamus, sebanyak 16,67% mengatakan sulit untuk menentukan makna yang tepat dari suatu kata dan sisanya 16,67% menyatakan sulit untuk menentukan akar kata dan artinyasecarabersamaan. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan tambahanwaktu untuk belajar tata bahasa Arab terutama ilmu Sharaf dan seringmelakukan latihanmenerjemahagar terbiasa dalam menemukan akar kata dan menentukan maknanya yang tepat sehingga kualitas hasil terjemahan akan menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problem of learning in the Department of Arabic Language Education UIN Sunan Kalijaga caused by differences in the educational background of students, knowing the way students to catch up the knowledge and abilities of Arabic language, and formulating a package of learning policy that considers the different background of education. This was descriptive-qualitative and field research. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The respondents were the students and head of the Department of Arabic Language Education UIN Sunan Kalijaga as a stakeholder. The results show there were at least 7 learning problems caused by the differences of students’ education background. There were 3 learning programs which proclaimed by the Department to overcome the problems and 5 steps offered to catch up the knowledge and ability of Arabic language.

Abstract

Religious harmony should be realized by mutual respect among fellow adherents. The fact that happened in the life of society still found various cases of intolerance. This is a problem that needs to find a solution. Understanding of the teachings and religious education is indispensable for fostering harmony. Therefore, this paper discusses the hadith of the Prophet on the teachings of tolerance by analyzing hadiths. Conclusions of this study found that the Tolerance in Islam does not mean being syncretic which can lead to mixing between the right and wrong (al-haq talbisu bi al-bathil), as syncretic attitude is an attitude that considers all religions equally. While tolerance in Islam is respect and honor the faith and other religions outside of Islam, not equate or mensederajatkannya the Islamic faith itself and Islam tolerates long as it is not related to the Aqeedah (belief).

Abstract

Islam is a religion that has a universal characteristic, the worldview  (Weltanschauung) of equality, justice, takaful, freedom and dignity as well as having a humanistic concept of theocentrism as core values of all the teachings of Islam. In terms of culture in society, Islam is letting local knowledge and local cultural products are productive and do not contaminate aqidah to exist, even putting traditional Islam as one of the basis for determining the law. As mentioned in one of the rules of jurisprudence thatsays "al-adah al-muhakkamah" (customary law can be used as a benchmark). Thus Islam is a religion of tolerance and full of moral values.

Abstract

Department of Arabic Education UIN Sunan Kalijaga has not set a policy on the obligation to write thesis in Arabic. Therefore, there are students who prefer to write their thesis in Indonesian. The article aims to find out the factors that cause students to prefer to write their thesis in Indonesian, the absence of policy writing thesis with Arabic and formulate a set of policy to upgrade the quality of graduate students by improving their paper. This is qualitative descriptive research in field research method. The data collection method gathered from questionare and interview. The data source were collected from the students who are still completing and had finished their undergraduste paper, and also the leader of Arabic Education Department as the stakeholder.The result shows eight factors that cause the students prefer to compose their undergraduate papers in Indonesian language. The are also four reasons to consider that it is not compulsory for the students to write the undergraduate paper in Arabic language. More over, there are three sets of policy about composing undergraduate paper to improve the quality of the graduate students the last is the steps of the realization of each activities

Abstract

Blood sugar levels are affected by several factors such as knowledge, age, gender, heredity, diet, smoking, and physical activity. Lifestyle changes such as shifting diet with less fiber and foods high in sugar. This becomes a risk factor for overweight and if it last continsuously will increase incidence of diabetes mellitus. This study aims to describe blood sugar levels when the officer Aviation Security service Tarakan Juwata with a Body Mass Index (BMI) 17-27 kg/m2. This research is descriptive. Respondents consisted of male and female 41 persons for 5 people. Data obtained with a Body Mass Index measurements and laboratory test are random blood sugar levels. The results showed that out of 46 respondents consisted of 41 men (89,1%) and 5 women (10,9%), as many 27 people (58,7%) had normal blood sugar levels. Based on the results of this study concluded that the Aviation Security service officers Juwata Tarakan with BMI 17-27 kg/m2 most have blood glucose levels as normal. Suggestions for the respondents to stop smoking, exercise regularly, avoid obesity, and health checks regularly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values of character education integrated into the learning Arabic Language Development Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and how to integrate and any problems faced by professors when integrating the value of the character education. This research is a field. Results showed the va-lues of character education has been integrated include: religious, honest, tole-rance, discipline, hard work, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, recognize excellence, communicative, love reading, environmental care, and res-ponsibility. How lecturer integrate include: adjust the lecture material, insert the value of a character. As for the difficulty in integrating include: the difficulty of adjusting the educational value of the existing character of the material. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ter-integrasi ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Pembangunan Pusat Bahasa UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dan bagaimana mengintegrasikan dan masalah yang dihadapi oleh para profesor ketika mengintegrasikan nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter telah terintegrasi meliputi: agama, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, mandiri, demokrasi, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, mengakui keunggulan, komunikatif, suka membaca, peduli lingkungan, dan tanggung jawab. Bagaimana dosen mengintegrasikan meliputi: menyesuaikan materi perku-liahan, masukkan nilai karakter. Adapun kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan meli-puti: kesulitan menyesuaikan nilai pendidikan karakter dengan material yang ada.

Abstract

Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang is is known as a succesfull campusin running foreign languages learning, especially Arabic. This research aimed tocompare the management of Arabic language learningin UIN Maliki and UIN SunanKalijaga to generate some feed backs in improving the quality of language learningas wellas an effort towards world class university. The result of research showed theadvantages of each university in running arabic learning. UIN Maliki Malang focuses onoptimizing arabic learning in dormitory (ma’had) with a variety of language activities,while UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta focuses on integrating scientific material andarabic language.

Abstract

 Abstract                The increasing of affordable housing need encourages the government to build the vertical housing, unfortunately the low cost public housing that is provided for the low income group, especially flats, on its growth has became a slum area. It is caused by the utilization of space that is not fit with the use of it should be. Therefore, it needs a post occupancy evaluation about the flasts, in order to utilization of space by the dwellers. This writing shows the comparison between design criteria based on the dwellers need; and design criteria on site and building context to the factual condition of space utilization after the occupancy. Keywords: design criteria, mass public housing, Sarijadi Bandung Abstrak                Adanya peningkatan kebutuhan rumah yang terjangkau, mendorong pemerintah membangun rumah susun. Namun perumahan murah yang disediakan bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah, terlebih rumah susun, dalam perkembangannya menjadi permukiman kumuh. Penyebabnya adalah karena terjadi pemanfaatan ruang yang tidak sesuai dengan peruntukannya. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan evaluasi pasca huni tentang rumah susun, dalam hal pemanfaatan ruang oleh penghuninya. Tulisan ini memaparkan perbandingan antara kriteria rancangan dalam konteks tapak dan bangunan, dengan kondisi faktual pemanfaatan ruang setelah rumah susun tersebut dihuni. Kata Kunci: kriteria rancangan, rumah susun, Sarijadi Bandung

Abstract

The concept of education is always interesting to discuss. Many figures have been peeled from both Muslims and non-Muslims. Al-Ghazali and Al-Farabi are the second Muslim leaders who have great attention to education. Thought both are interesting to compare because it has almost the same background in philosophy so that the approach in this study used acomparative study with the object of the discussion focused on the two men thought about the concept of education. The result showed that education in the thinking of al-Ghazali should lead to the realization of religious and moral character, with the emphasis on the acquisition of virtue and taqarrub to God and not to seek a high position or gain magnificence of the world while according to Al-Farabi, education as a means for get a set of values, knowledge, and practical skills for individuals in certain periods and cultures. The end goal, guiding individuals towards perfection.
