This article is a study of the text (read: fictional works Abidah El Khalieqy) is intended to express the idea of feminism, and also find a model or system of thought/Abidah El Khalieqy views on the relationship between Islam / religion with feminism. This study uses descriptive method. The purpose of the study using descriptive method is to create a description, picture, or drawing systematically and objectively, the facts, the properties, characteristics and relationships between existing elements or a particular phenomenon (in cultural studies ). This method is defined by Whitney - as quoted by M. Nazir - as a fact finding the correct interpretation. The fact in this context means that feminism and its impact among Muslims, and Abidah El Khaliqie view of the relationship between Islam (the religion) and Feminism in the works of fiction

Object of discussion in this study is the Taufik Ismail's poem, which entitled “Malu (Aku) Jadi Orang Indonesia” (MAJOI). Core issues to be addressed in this study can be formulated as follows: the themes related to the value of the nation's main character education at work MAJOI Taufiq's poems and the work of key themes of character education in the nation's poetry Taufiq Ismail MAJOI. To answer the above formula researchers uses thematic studies. In reviewing the themes in the poetry MAJOI the researcher refers to the values of the nation's character issued by the Guidelines for Character Education, Ministry of National Education of Jakarta in 2011. This research finds fourteen social themes and two key themes, namely the collapse of morals and a sense of nationalism as well as patriotism.

Theatre has become a part of the Islamic world recently. Moslems become more familiar with Islamic theatre and film. Indonesian independence, as well as the western theatre, triggers the blooming of theatre. To see its development in this country, where Moslems is the majority, it is necessary to observe how the local group of theatre or drama making its changes in their appreciation, conception, interpretation, expression, and creation. The main paradigm of the art of Islamic theatre, as the part of Islamic culture, can be understood through a textual and contextual approach.

Politeness is reflected in the use of verbal sign. Politeness is also found in multicultural dawah. Multicultural dawah means to summon or invite people of different cultural backgrounds to learn more about Islam, but its deliverance does not offend, hurt, obtrude, or impose its audiences. This paper describes the politeness indicators and supporting values of politeness in multicultural dakwah. The data were taken form youtube, documented by data transcription, and then analyzed by using theory of politeness. The conclusion of this study shows that these multicultural dawah obey the politeness indicators such as angon rasa, adu rasa, empan papan, humility, respect, tepa selira, diction of "sorry", "thank you', and greeting "Sir/Madam". However, in these multicultural dakwah, there were also found the disobediences of the politeness indicators. This disobediences are due to the usage of inappropriate dictions. The supporting values of politeness include humility, empan papan,keep the feeling and attitude of introspection.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeksripsikan tindakan komunikasi yang ditampilkan oleh Abidah El Khalieqy dalam cerpen "Gendhis" dan sejauh mana tindakan komunikasi dalam cerpen "Gendhis" berdasarkan pada teori tindakan komunikasi Habermas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, yaitu pencarian fakta dengan interpretasi yang tepat. Penelitian menggunakan analisis teks (discourse analysis), yaitu menganalisis cerpen "Gendhis" untuk mengetahui isi dan makna yang terkandung dalam teks dengan teori komunikasi Habermas. Hasil penelitian rnenunjukan bahwa tindakan komunikasi dalam cerpen "Gendhis" memunculkan beberapa aspek, yaitu aspek dominasi, aspek emosi (kemarahan), dan aspek kekerasan. Adapun empat klaim, yaitu kejelasan (comprehensibility), kebenaran (truth), kejujuran (sincerity), dan keadilan (rightness) yang diajukan oleh Habermas ada dalam diri Gendhis, tokoh utama dalam cerpen tersebut, sedangkan tokoh Pak Lurah jauh dari harapan teori tindakan komunikasi Habermas. This research aims to describe communication act as presented bv Abidah El Khalieqy in her short story "Gendhis" and to understand how far the communication act works according to Habermas theory of communication act. This research used descriptive method that is fact searching use proper interpretation. Discourse analysis was used in analyzing "Gendhis" to reveal content and meaning of the work by Habermas' communication theory. The result shows that communication text in "Gendhis" short story contain some aspects, such as domination, emotion, and violence. Otherwise, four claims like comprehensibility, truth, sincerity, and rightness proposed by Habermas works in Gendhis herself, the main character in the short story, but do not work in character of Pak Lurah.
