Abstract

Level of profit sharing given by Islamic Banks which is one factor public appeal to save funds in the products of Islamic Banks but in level of profit sharing for giving of Islamic Banks still refers to the rate of Conventional Banks. Still referring to Conventional Bank interest rates make people still think that the same Islamic Banks with Conventional Banks. This research purpose to analyze the effect of financial ratios and interest rate to the level of profit sharing of mudharabah deposits Islamic Banks in Indonesia. The population used is the quarterly financial statements throughout Islamic Banks in Indonesia 2011-2013. Selection of the samples tested in this study using purposive sampling method, 6 selected Islamic Banks. Analysis tools in this study is used multiple regression analysis using SPSS 19.0 software. The variables used in this study are Return On Asset (ROA), BOPO, Interest Rate, Financing To Deposits Ratio (FDR) and Non Performing Financing (NPF) as the independent variable, and level of profit sharing mudaraba deposits as the dependent variable. Partial results show that Return On Asset (ROA) and Financing To Deposits Ratio (FDR) significant positive effect on level of profit sharing mudaraba deposits while the BOPO, Interest Rate and Non Performing Financing (NPF) have no effect.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v5i1.2333

Abstract

This study is a descriptive case study analysis in PT. Bank BNI Syariah using primary data and secondary data. This study rejects the results of research Mawardi (2005) and Vustany (2006) which states that the granting of a return to the Islamic banking results are influenced by interest rates. The interest rate is only a reference in determining the level of expected return for the customer to determine the ratio of the results. Calculation of profit sharing between users and customers BNI Syariah funds made by the actual return earned business profits, and distribution of the proceeds among the owners BNI Syariah customer funds carried with the actual return earned by the bank. Determination of the ratio between BNI Syariah results with user customer funds made by setting the level of expected return and the bank’s expected return rate of user client funds. Bank’s expected return level is calculated based customer’s of fund provider’s expected return estimation, the estimated overhead cost, estimation of risk level, and the expected net profit of the bank. While the level of expected return customers entrepreneur is the difference between the projected benefit the customer’s business and the expected return rate of the bank.Keywords: Profit Sharing Ratio, Mudaraba Agreement, Musharaka Agreement, Expected Return, Islamic Banking.

Abstract

The objectives of the research is to study and to analyze empirically the influence of office channelling on third party deposits and return on assets in Indonesian sharia business unit. Third party deposits and return on assets are used as indicators of sharia business unit performance after opening new branchs through office channelling program. The research uses korelasional method.The number of sharia business units taken as samples in the research cover about 10 sharia business unit in Indonesia which already publicate theirs own financial statements separated from their conventional banks financial statements. The data were analyzed using Ordinary Least Square Method.The result show that, firstly, office channelling statistically significant influence third party deposits, but secondly, office channelling statistically insignificant influence return on assets. This unpredicted result shows that the increase of third party deposits through office channelling program not automatically could increase return on assets. We found that the sharia business unit couldnt yet opfimally response the increase of third party deposits. The increasing of third party deposits were not followed yet by the good atocafions of fund.Keywords : Office channelling, Third party deposits, Return on assets, Sharia business unit, Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identifies factors influenced in determination of pricing formula in Islamic Banking. This research used survey method and the locations are in Islamic Banking Head Office in Jakarta and Bandung with qualitative approach. Technical of data collection are by survey and interview with the employees of Islamic Banking from ALMA Committee and asset and liabilities unit in head office. Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that four factors that influenced in determination of pricing formula in Islamic Banking : Cost of Fund, Overhead Cost, risk and bank margin.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Attitude, Subjective Norms, Level Worship, Zakat Knowledge, Confidence Level, The Perceived Behavioral Control on Behavioral Intention and also Its Perceived Behavioral Control and Intention to Conduct Compliance Income Zakat. The data used in this study was obtained from the university in the city of Serang, Banten. The data were processed using the software program Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). This study used a purposive sampling method to sample accounting lecturer. Source of data obtained from the field research, in particular by distributing questionnaires to obtain primary data. The results showed (1) attitude affect the Intention Behavior, (2) Subjective Norm has no effect on Behavioral Intention, (3) Levels of Worship has no effect on Behavioral Intention, (4) Knowledge of Zakat no effect on Behavioral Intention, (5) Level of Confidence no effect on Behavioral intention, (6) The perceived Behavioral Control effect on Behavioral intention, (7) The perceived Behavioral Control has no effect on Zakat Income Compliance, and (8)Behavioral intention affect the Zakat Income Compliance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis  persepsi para ulama, para tokoh ormas Islam dan akademisi terhadap perbankan syariah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan yaitu metode survey dan wawancara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif eksploratif Berdasarkan hasil penelitian persepsi para ulama, anggota ormas Islam dan kalangan akademisi terhadap bauran pemasaran (produk, promosi, harga, lokasi dan personal) perbankan syariah berbeda-beda. Para ulama  dan kalangan akademisi menilai bauran pemasaran yang dikembangkan oleh perbankan syariah sudah tepat. Sementara anggota ormas islam menilai bauran pemasaran yang dikembangkan oleh perbankan syariah masih kurang tepat. Perbedaan persepsi ini disebabkan karena adanya perbedaan pengalaman, peranan, minat dan kebutuhan serta tingkat keyakinan.Persepsi para ulama dan kalangan akademisi terhadap kesesuaian praktek perbankan syariah dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah adalah positif. Sedangkan anggota ormas islam menilai praktek perbankan syariah  tingkat kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah masih rendah. Perbedaan persepsi tersebut dimungkinkan karena kurangnya pengalaman, pengetahuan, minat dan kebutuhan terhadap produk-produk dan layanan perbankan syariah. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Ulama, Tokoh Ormas Islam, Akademisi, bauran pemasaran, prinsip-prinsip syariah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the distribution of mudarabah/musyarakah financing to the performance of mudarabah/musyarakah financing in Sharia Rural Bank Banten Province as well as to build a model of mudarabah/musyarakah financing that is effective in improving the performance of Sharia Rural Bank in Banten Province. The research method used is survey method with quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using SPSS v.17 software. Data collection techniques used are documentation, survey, and interviews. The population of this research is all the leaders and staff of financing in Banten Province, with 40 samples. The results showed that the variables of Third Party Fund Mobilization, Minimizing Dependence on Subsidies, Incentive System for On-Time Payments, and Building Good Relationships with Customers have a significant positive effect on the Mudarabah/Musyarakah Financing Performance, while the Selection Process and Control Process on Business variables have no effect on Mudarabah/Musyarakah Financing Performance. Abstract

Many factors that affect a person's interest in doing something, in this case the author intended is the selection of interest in choosing the community of Islamic banking services. A person's interest in choosing a product is influenced by his perception and knowledge of the product. This study aims to know and analyze the perceptions of the scholars, the leaders of  Islamic organizations and academics of sharia banking and its influence on the growth of Islamic banking in Banten. Teknik data collection used in this research is convenient sampling method. Convenient technique is used because the number of scholars in Banten is very much and the researchers chose the board of MUI of Banten Province as the representative of the ulama in Banten. The type of data used in this study is primary data collected directly by researchers from the field. The data source used in this research is field research (field data) and library research (library data) .The data collection techniques used in this study survey through questionnaires and interviews with the respondents. Based on the results of questionnaires research on 3 groups of Respondents: MUI (30 respondents), Academics (30 respondents), and Islamic Organizations (30 respondents) can be concluded that respondents from academic groups agree on the suitability of the practice and marketing mix of sharia banking with average value 3.77, while respondents from the MUI group and Islamic organizations strongly agree on the suitability of the practice and marketing mix of sharia banking with an average value of 4.11 and 4.35.
