Abstract

In Cental Kalimantan the development of the curriculum on local content subject area for the SMUs focusses on growing rubber and rattan. The content of the material accompanying the textbooks on local caontent subject area covers 7 topics that focusses mainly on field work rather than theory. Those topics are: 1) the conditions for growing; 2) the cultivation of plants; 3) planting in the field; 4) nursing the plants; 5) plant diseases; 6) harvesting and production; 7) processing the product.

Abstract

Abstract: The Implementation of Visiting Teachers Model in Remote Areas. This research project describes the planning, socialization, implementation of visiting teachers model. This multi-site research was carried out within the contexts of 3 primary schools in the Regency of Murung Raya. Participant ob­servations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis (documentation) were used to collect the data. The subjects as sources of the data include teachers, students, administrators, authority (in societal conven­tions), school principals, school superintendents, tutors, and skilled workers. The results show that the planning of the primary schools has been appropriate with the conditions: remote, dispersed, and isolated. The implementation has been supported by various stakeholders.Abstrak: Pelaksanaan Model Guru Kunjung di Daerah Terpencil. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskrip­sikan perencanaan, sosialisaisi, dan pelaksanaan model guru kunjung. Penelitian multisitus ini dilaksanakan di 3 SD Kunjung di Kabupaten Murung Raya. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data adalah guru, siswa, pejabat, tokoh adat, Kepala SDN Induk, Penilik, guru SD, tutor dan tenaga terampil dari masyarakat. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan SD Kunjung sesuai dengan persyaratan terpencil, terpencar dan hambatan geografis. Perencanaan memerhati­kan kebutuhan masyarakat dan melibatkan berbagai pihak. Sosialisasi dilakukan oleh masyarakat, perusahaan, perangkat desa, kepala SD Induk-Basis, guru dan komite, yang memotivasi masyarakat tentang penting­nya pendidikan untuk penguatan kualitas hidup dan pemenuhan kebutuhan. SD kunjung dikepalai oleh Kepala SD Induk. Mereka dibantu oleh guru, tutor dan tenaga terampil, kios belajar, guru kunjung, dan karyawan perusahaan. Pemerintah desa, perusahaan, tokoh adat dan masyarakat membangun kios belajar dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak.

Abstract

Abstract: Management of Quality Assurance on College Academic Service. The case study reports on the quality assurance management of academic service, focusing on the quality assurance of the input, the teaching and learning process, the facilities and infrastructure, and the graduates. The study involved the study programs of Education Administration, Physical Education, Health, and Recreation, and Non-formal Education. The results of the qualitative and quantitative analyses reveal that universities need to give at­tention to the quality assurance management of their graduates because many of them eventually do not work in areas relevant to their qualifications and educational backgroundsKeywords: academic services quality assurance, higher educationAbstrak: Manajemen Penjaminan Mutu Layanan Akademik Perguruan Tinggi. Artikel hasil pene­litian ini memaparkan manajemen penjaminan mutu layanan akademik dengan fokus pada manajemen penjaminan mutu masukan, kualitas proses perkuliahan, kualitas sarana dan prasarana, dan kualitas lu­lusan. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui kajian kasus pada pro­gram studi administrasi pendidikan, program studi pendidikan jasmani, kesehatan, dan rekreasi, dan program studi pendidikan luar sekolah. hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa perguruan tinggi perlu memberikan perhatian terhadap manajemen penjaminan mutu lulusan karena masih banyak lulusan yang terserap di dunia kerja namun tidak sesuai dengan kualifikasi dan latar belakang pendidikan yang ditempuhnya.Kata kunci: penjaminan mutu layanan akademik, perguruan tinggi.
