Abstract

Autism is the continuum of impairments. Children with autism show intellectual, social, emotional, and language or communication disorder. Collaboration is an important aspect in delivering education/intervention for children. Professionals have to have knowledge and skill related to autism and have to team up with parent in dealing with the disorder. The unique profile of the individual with autism calls for emphasis in the areas of communication skills, social-emotional, behavioral, and sensory regulation, and communication. Pre-identification of the children may help teachers and parents to make decisions whether the child needs a referral or not. In this case, Indonesia needs to make more political will in order to implement autism education in various setting to address immediate needs of the children before the problem becomes more complicated

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to increase the shopping skills of a student with intellectual disability in SLB Kemala Bhayangkari Trenggalek by using pictures media evaluated based on three aspects: (1) the ability of shoping in minimarket, (2) the ability of items purchasing and (3) the ability of expensive and cheap concepts. The research method was Single Subject Research (SSR) appoarch, reversal design ABAB. The subject was a sixth grade student with intellectual disaility in SLB Kemala Bhayangkari Trenggalek. The student classified into a mild or intermitten intellectual disability. Data collecting of both shopping ability and the ability of items purchasing was done through observation, and the ability of expensive and cheap concepts was collected by the results of a written test. The analysis of this research was by visual analysis graph. The results of the shopping skill analysis were based on three aspects: (1) the ability of shopping in minimarket, (2) the ability of items purchasing and (3) the ability of expensive and cheap concepts were increasing after being given the intervention. From the results of the graph showing the mean, level and trend were increasing from baseline to intervention. Latency analysis also showed that the changes in behavior occured was less likely to take long time over the intervention. Total Mean of over all aspects in baseline 1 (A1) phase was 22,3, then the mean increasing in intervention 1 (B1) phase was 58,3, the mean total of baseline 2 (A2) phase was 39,5 and the intervention 2 (B2) was 63,5. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belanja dari siswa dengan cacat intelektual di SLB Kemala Bhayangkari Trenggalek dengan menggunakan media gambar dievaluasi berdasarkan tiga aspek: (1) kemampuan belanja di minimarket, (2) kemampuan item pembelian dan (3) kemampuan konsep mahal dan murah. Penelitian ini merupakan Subjek Tunggal Desain (SSD). Untuk mendapatkan data, peneliti menggunakan tiga instrumen: pengamatan dan hasil test.The tertulis dari analisis keterampilan belanja didasarkan pada tiga aspek: (1) kemampuan belanja di minimarket, (2) kemampuan item pembelian dan (3 ) kemampuan konsep mahal dan murah yang meningkat setelah diberi intervensi. Dari hasil grafik yang menunjukkan rata-rata, tingkat dan tren yang meningkat dari awal sampai intervensi. Analisis Latency juga menunjukkan bahwa perubahan perilaku terjadi kurang mungkin untuk mengambil waktu yang lama selama intervensi. Total rata-rata lebih dari semua aspek di awal 1 (A1) fase adalah 22,3, maka berarti meningkatnya intervensi 1 (B1) fase adalah 58,3, total rata-rata dasar 2 (A2) fase adalah 39,5 dan intervensi 2 (B2) adalah 63,5.

Abstract

Autism is an intellectual, social, emotional, language, and communication impairment emerging in infancy, which might continue to adulthood. It is a continuum. Since the characteristics of autism vary, it is reasonably difficult to determine what causes autism. What has been done so far is identifying the possible causes of autism based on the observable symptoms. Although there are a number of ways of handling autism, handling the language and social problems of autistic children is of immediate need to enable the children to be involved in their social environment. The results of diagnoses encourage parents to hold an expert shop.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed at improving the achievement motivation of high school students using cognitive behaviour counselling with self-instruction and self-monitoring techniques; and to knowing the difference of effectiveness between the two techniques given. The experimental research with the pretest-posttest two treatment designs was used as a research design. Data were collected using the treatment materials and the achievement motivation scale. Data were analysed by the descriptively and statistically (Wilcoxon test and The Mann-Whitney U test). The results of this study showed that there was an increasing in achievement motivation of high school students after being given counselling with self-instruction and self-monitoring techniques; and there was no significant difference between the two techniques to increase the achievement motivation of high school students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMA melalui cognitive behavior counseling teknik self-instruction dan self-monitoring; untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas kedua teknik yang diberikan. Experimental research dengan the pretest-posttest two treatment designs digunakan sebagai rancangan penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan bahan perlakuan dan skala motivasi berprestasi. Data dianalisis secara deskripstif dan statistik (uji Wilcoxon dan uji The Mann-Whitney U test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat peningkatan motivasi berprestasi siswa secara signifikan setelah diberi konseling teknik self-intruction dan self-monitoring; tidak terdapat perbedaan dari kedua teknik terhadap peningkatan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) approach for receptive and expressive language skills of children with autism.This study was used a research design of SSR (Single Subject Research) with A-B-A’-B’ model for 10 sessionswith a single subject (one child with autism).The first baseline phase (A) consisted of 5 sessions, The first intervention phase (B) consisted of 2sessions, the second baseline phase (A’) consisted of 1 session, and the second baseline (B’) consisted of 2 sessions. The data was collected by observation, then it measured and analyzed by a visual chart. The results of the study were obtained from the six aspects that the child was able to execute the command and express his desire because of the assistance intervention. It was evidenced by the researchresults that both the first and second of intervention phases wasobtained higher score than both the first and the second of baseline phase.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pendekatan ABA (Apllied Behaviour Analysis) terhadap perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa ekspresif dan reseptif anak autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian SSR (Single Subject Research) desain A-B-A’-B’ selama 10 sesi dengan subjek tunggal. Pada fase baseline awal (A) terdiri dari 5 sesi, fase intervensi awal (B) terdiri dari 2 sesi, fase baseline kedua 1 sesi, dan baseline ketiga 2 sesi. Pengolahan data diukur dan dianalisis. Analisis data menggunakan visual grafik. Hasil penelitian yang didapat dari keenam aspek bahwa anak mampu melaksanakan perintah maupun mengekpresikan keinginanya karena adanya bantuan intervensi. Hal ini dibuktikan pada hasil penelitian yang pada fase intervensi awal maupun intervensi akhir skor yang didapat lebih tinggi dari fase baseline awal maupun baseline akhir.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of science-based natural materials center is able to improve the development of childrens learning that includes aspects of language, physical-motor and cognitive children aged 5—6 years. The method used in this research is classroom action research. Subjects in this study were 18 children in the age group of 5—6 years. Based on the results of the application of science-based natural materials center applied to children aged 5—6 years in learning activities in kindergarten, able to improve the development of childrens learning that includes aspects of language, physical-motor, and cognitive.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan sentra bahan alam berbasis sains mampu untuk meningkatkan perkembangan belajar anak yang meliputi aspek bahasa, fisik-motorik, dan kognitif anak usia 5—6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini ialah 18 anak pada kelompok usia 5—6 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan sentra bahan alam berbasis sains yang diterapkan pada anak usia 5—6 tahun dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di taman kanak-kanak, mampu meningkatkan perkembangan belajar anak yang meliputi aspek bahasa, fisik-motorik, dan kognitif.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of the CBM in teaching of spelling writing and to describe the influence of CBM usage toward spelling writing ability for student with learning disability in MI Al-Ghozali Rogotrunan Lumajang. The research used was an experimental method with a Single Subject Research (SSR), A-B-A-B design. Data were analyzed by using a visual analysis of graphic technique. The result of research shows that a CBM influence on spelling writing. This condition was shown by spelling writing at baseline before being given CBM (A1) mean stable in 62,5%, condition after being given CBM (B1) became 70,4%. But, condition after the CBM intervention stop (A2) became 62% and condition after being given again CBM intervention (B2) became 82%. Conclusion of this research is the CBM has influence to improve the ability of spelling writing Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan CBM dalam pengajaran menulis ejaan dan untuk menggambarkan pengaruh penggunaan CBM terhadap kemampuan menulis ejaan untuk siswa dengan ketidakmampuan belajar di MI Al-Ghozali Rogotrunan Lumajang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal Penelitian (SSR), desain ABAB. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis visual teknik grafis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh CBM pada penulisan ejaan. Kondisi ini ditunjukkan dengan menulis ejaan pada awal sebelum diberikan CBM (A1) berarti stabil di 62,5%, kondisi setelah diberi CBM (B1) menjadi 70,4%. Tapi, kondisi setelah berhenti intervensi CBM (A2) menjadi 62% dan kondisi setelah diberikan lagi CBM intervensi (B2) menjadi 82%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah CBM memiliki pengaruh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis ejaan

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the improvement of students academic engagement through the implementation of problem based-learning model in the madrasah. This study used single subject design with multiple baseline across subjects. The subjects served as intervention targets as well as the control participant. There are four students as participants. They were chosen based on both the result of subject identification through instruments of Academic Engagement Scale for Grade School Students (AES-GS) and the result of observation to students with the lowest grades. The results of the graph analysis showed the decreased behavior in baseline phase but increased in the intervention phase.Key Words: academic engagement, problem based learning, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan academic engagement siswa melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen subjek tunggal dengan desain multiple baseline across subject. Subjek penelitian yang diintervensi sekaligus sebagai control participant. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak empat siswa. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan hasil identifikasi subjek melalui instrumen academic engagement scale for grade school students (AES-GS) dengan perolehan hasil nilai paling rendah dan hasil observasi terhadap siswa yang menunjukkan nilai stabil rendah. Hasil analisis grafik pada kondisi baseline menunjukkan perilaku academic engagement stabil rendah, namun pada kondisi intervensi perilaku academic engagement meningkat.  Kata kunci: academic engagement,  problem based learning, Madrasah Tsanawiyah

Abstract

Abstract: Motivation to learn is the driving or moving of someone to learn. Motivation to learn can come from within from the stimulation of the surrounding environment. Master’s actions are one of the forms of learning that comes from environmental stimuli. This study aims to determine the relationship of learning with learning achievement, teacher learning with learning achievement, and learning with teachers and learning achievement at SDN 029 Tarakan. This type of research is a quantitative research. The result showed there was a very strong relationship between learning motivation and teacher action with learning achievement. Abstrak: Motivasi belajar merupakan suatu pendorong atau penggerak seseorang untuk belajar. Motivasi belajar bisa berasal dari dalam diri ataupun dari rangsangan lingkungan sekitar. Tindakan guru adalah bentuk motivasi yang diberikan dari lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar, tindakan guru dengan prestasi belajar, serta motivasi belajar dan tindakan guru dengan prestasi belajar di SDN 029 Tarakan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat kuat antara motivasi belajar dan tindakan guru dengan prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Abstract: Negative emotion is unpleasant circumstances so affect the attitudes and behavior of individuals in interacting with others. As for the negative emotions are emotions angry, anxious and sad. Of the phenomenon required the efforts of guidance to channel the emotion that is by counselling techniques expressive writting on the students. This research is to know the level of negative emotions of students by using survey data. This research uses data collection inventory, interview equipped observation sheets. As for the subject researches are students in 10 Wretched SMAN. On the results of research counselor counseling application well welcomed by the technique of expressive and showed the attitude of students writting enthusiastic in following counselling techniques expressive writting.Abstrak: Emosi negatif merupakan keadaan kurang menyenangkan yang memengaruhi sikap dan perilaku individu dalam berinteraksi dengan orang-orang yang ada di sekitarnya. Adapun emosi negatif adalah rasa marah, cemas, dan sedih. Dari fenomena tersebut diperlukan upaya bimbingan untuk menyalurkan emosi yaitu dengan konseling teknik expressive writting pada siswa. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat emosi negatif siswa dengan menggunakan data survei. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan inventory, wawancara yang dilengkapi lembar observasi. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah siswa di SMAN 10 Malang. Pada hasil penelitian konselor menyambut dengan baik penerapan konseling dengan teknik expressive writting dan siswa menunjukkan sikap antusias dalam mengikuti konseling teknik expressive writting.
