Abstract

The purpose of thus research was to determine the influence of icebreaker in enhancing students achievement on mathematic of the children with mild intellectual. Disability of grade IV of SLB Putra Manunggal Gombong in the academic year of 2017 / 2018. This research used quantitative approach with the pre-experimental design using one group pre-test post-test design. The subject of this research were eight students with mild intellectual disability of grade IV of SLB Putra Manunggal Gombong in the academic year of 2017 / 2018. The technique was objective test in the form of multiple choice . the obtained data were analyzed quantitatively with Wilcoxin Sign Rank Test non parametric statistical analysis using 23 SPSS program. Based on the data analysys the post-test mean score of the research subject increased significantly, pre-test mean score was 63,12 and post-test mean score was 77,12. The result of non-parametric statistical analysis showed the score of 2 value= -2,530 with Asymp. Sig (2 tailed) = 0,011 which under 0,05 is smaller than a predetermined significance level or 0,011 < 0,05. It can be concluded that the use of icebreaker had influence in enhancing students achievement on mathematics of the children with mild intellectual disability of grade IV of SLB Putra Manunggal Gombong in the academic year of 2017/2018.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh isolat bakteri Azospirillium sp dari Madura, serta mengkaji kehandalannya dalam menggantikan pupuk N sintetik. Samel tanah diambil dari Kecamatan Galis, Geger dan Tanahmerah, isolasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan media semi solid Nfb, selanjutnya diuji kehandalannya berdasarkan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman jagung. Diperoleh 1 isolat yang terbaik yaitu isolat yang diisolasi dari rhizosper tanaman Graminae di Kecamatan Galis, namun demikian berdasarkan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung belum bisa menggantikan pupun N sintetik.Kata kunci : Azospirillum sp, jagung, nitrogen, isolat madura

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren is one of the organization/educational institute that is still valued as the second class compared with public educational institute. Hence, to show that the quality of education in pondok pesantren is able to compete with other institutions is by developing human resource that is conducted by Kiai. This research is to describe about the development of human resource in increasing the quality of education in pondok pesantren Diponegoro, Klungkung, Bali by using phenomenology perspective. In addition, this research is qualitative research with the form of case study. The findings of this research are: first, the model of Kiai in human resource development of teachers competence in this pesantren, are: 1) planning the human resource that is conducted by: a) arranging the planning which involves the structures, b) it is conducted in the first year and in the middle of the semester, c) planning the teachers based on the evaluation and analysis needs. 2) Recruiting the human resource by following the procedure and sunny ideology, high dedication, sincere, and competence, b) internal and external recruitment. 3) Selecting the administrative, written test, teaching, and interview. 4) Evaluating a) conducting formal and informal assessment, b) conducting class supervision periodically, c) assessing the work performance, loyalty, responsibility, obedient, honesty, and leadership, d) assessing by report model, e) compensation of teacher in the form of financial and non financial.  5) Human resource development by giving training program and meeting periodic. The second, the model of Kiai in developing the manager of human resource competence in this pesantren are: 1) planning human resource in a) recruiting the manager based on the human resource, b) selecting which is customized by the position needs, c) placing and appointing based on the duty and authority, d) developing the human resource by giving training, e) maintaining of well-being, f) integrating the human resource by leadership and communication, g) compensation the allowance of pesantren, h) discipline, i) discharging the position, 2) Implementing the strategy of human resource planning by: a) supplying, filtering and selecting, b) developing by giving training and mutation, continuing study to the higher level and mutation the position, c) maintaining of well-being, d) integrating by communication intensely in solving the problem in general, e) compensation of  fee, f) discipline, it is pointed out whether to the students or manager who violate the rule, g) discharging which is caused by mutation, retired, and resigned.

Abstract

The postpartum period is a process of adaptation to physical and psychological changes. Postpartum mothers at risk for psychological disorders. Giving intervention such as back massage can be done by health workers to reduce maternal depressive symptoms. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of back massage to change maternal depressive symptoms score in postpartum. A Quasy experimental study of pretest-posttest with Non-equivalent control group design was undertaken among all postpartum in Sakina Idaman and Amanda hospital. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling with a sample 26 for each group. Back massage was given 2 times a week within a period of 4 weeks duration 15 minutes. Instruments Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) was used to measure maternal depressive symptoms in pretest-posttest. Sarason’s Social Support Questionnaire (SSQ) measured social support. The statistical test used paired t-test and independent t-test. Score of maternal depressive symptoms before and after intervention is similar 12,9±3,99 between 2 groups. The score significantly decrease after intervention (fourth week) 6,46±1,60 for intervention group and 8,73±1,63 for control group. Delta mean is 2,26 (Pvalue 0,04 CI 95% 0,05-4,47).

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of application simulation based learning toward understanding of fairy tale for children with hearing impairment in third grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year. This research uses a quantitative approach to research methods of experimental type of pre-experimental form one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek in this research were students in third grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year as many as four students. Data collection techniques in this research is an objective test in multiple choice. Data analysis techniques in this research is the analysis of non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank test (Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test) using SPSS versi 22. From the result of calculations using SPSS versi 22, the known value of the average posttest research sample increased. Descriptive analysis result obtained by the average value of 77,5 posttest greater than the value pretest 57,5. Non-parametric analysis result obtained count value Z= -2,000 with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,046 at significance level (α) of 5%. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that effect of application simulation based learning is positive toward understanding of fairy tale for children with hearing impairment in third grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengggunaan model pembelajaran Self-Directed  learning terhadap prestasi belajar IPA pada anak tunagrahita kelas IV di SLB Panca Bakti Surakarta.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen bentuk pre-experimental desain one group pre test-post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SLB Panca Bakti Surakarta tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SLB Panca Bakti Surakarta tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 6 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sampling jenuh karena jumlah populasi subjek kecil dan seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah tes objektif yang berbentuk pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis non-parametrik yaituWilcoxon Signed Rank Test (Tes Rangking Bertanda Wilcoxon) dengan menggunakan program SPSS 23. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest lebih besar dari pada nilai pretest yaitu 46,5 menjadi 70,8. Hasil analisis non parametrik diperoleh nilai Z hitung = -2,220 b dengan Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)= 0,026 pada taraf signifikansi α= 0,05. Dengan demikian, hipotesis dapat diterima kebenarannya. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran self-directed learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar IPA pada anak tunagrahita kelas IV di SLB Panca Bakti Surakarta tahun ajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

Pembelajaran secara umum dilakukan melalui metode ceramah dengan variasi pemberian video pembelajaran dan foto-foto pendukung. Namun hal tersebut belum cukup memberikan konsep yang nyata bagi mahasiswa semester I Program Studi Pendidikan Khusus tentang kondisi yang dirasakan/dialami anak berkebutuhan khusus, hambatan belajar, masalah emosi, perilaku, dan sosial yang dialami. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa sejumlah 63,2% (48 dari 76 mahasiswa) sudah mengetahui tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus. Namun dari jumlah tersebut, diketahui bahwa sejumlah 77,1% (37 dari 48 mahasiswa) belum pernah berinteraksi langsung dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Pengetahuan terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus masih sebatas dari informasi orang tua/saudara yang bekerja di bidang pendidikan khusus tetapi belum pernah bertemu langsung dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus dan/atau melalui membaca buku. Sedangkan, sejumlah 22,9% (11 mahasiswa) sudah pernah berinteraksi langsung dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Pengalaman tersebut diperoleh karena memiliki tetangga/saudara yang berkebutuhan khusus. Selain itu, ada juga yang karena pernah ke SLB bersama orang tua yang merupakan guru SLB. Tujuan simulation based learning pada mata kuliah Orthopedagogik Umum adalah untuk memberikan pengalaman tentang hambatan yang dihadapi, emosi, dan perilaku masing-masing jenis anak berkebutuhan khusus. Sehingga mahasiswa dapat memiliki pengalaman dan menemukan solusi/ide-ide dalam menerapkan pendekatan belajar atau media pembelajaran yang dapat meminimalisir dampak ketunaan. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara/testimoni mahasiswa, dan studi dokumentasi terkait pemahamanan profil anak berkebutuhan khusus setelah mengikuti perkuliahan dengan simulation based learning. Selanjutnya, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa sejumlah 97,4% (74 dari 76 mahasiswa) dapat memahami konsep dasar dan kebutuhan belajar anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Melalui tahapan simulation based learning, mahasiswa juga menemukan bahwa meskipun anak memliki jenis kebutuhan khusus yang sama, tetapi karakteristik, kebutuhan belajar, dan program pengembangan potensi anak berbeda. Sedangkan 2,6% (2 mahasiswa) masih belum memahami dengan utuh terkait konsep anak berkebutuhan khusus. Meskipun sudah berpartisipasi selama proses simulasi, kedua mahasiswa tersebut masih kesulitan dalam memahami anak berkebutuhan khusus. Disertai dengan semakin rendahnya rasa percaya diri sebagai dampak dari ketidakyakinan akan kemampuan untuk dapat mendidik anak berkebutuhan khusus.
