Abstract

Model of discovery learning is a learning process that focuses on mental intellectual students in solving a variety of problems encountered, so that students can use her mental process to find a concept or the generalization of being studied and can be applied in the field. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence model of discovery learning process skills against science and learning results students on subjects science-physics at Islamic Junior High School Jember 1. This type of research is research experiments with design research using the post-test control group. Data collection methods included test, observation, portfolio, documentation, and interview. Methods of data analysis using Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 16. The results of this research are obtained average value of science process skills in the experimental class of 86,78 and 74,59 of the control class. Science process skills based on the results of the analysis of the Independent Sample T-Test acquired ttest of 8,398. While the student learning results obtained average value on experiments of 85,23 class and grade control of 73.52 an. Results of the study based on the analysis of the Independent Sample T-Test acquired ttest of 8,387. Based on the data obtained, the conclusion that can be drawn is a model of discovery learning science process skills affects and results of student learning on subjects science-physics at Islamic Junior High School Jember 1.

Abstract

SQ3R method is an efficient method of reading that can involve students become active in constructing science and engaging students to be active in studying and understanding the material directly that consists of 5 steps: survey, question, read, recite, and review. In step students are required to recite to make concept maps according to the understanding the material being.  The purpose of this study was to describe the learning activities of students during the learning SQ3R method using of science, examines the differences in learning outcomes and retention result learn of science use SQ3R method with a method is commonly used in school. This type of research is research design the research experiments with using post-test control design. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis methods to test hypotheses using Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 16. The results of this research are the learning activities of students during the learning SQ3R method using of science criteria are active and there are significant differences in the results of the learning and retention of learning outcomes students use SQ3R method of science with method that are commonly used in schools.

Abstract

Lesson Study is a major form of improving the quality of learning and professional development of teacher by reviewing the classroom leraning process conducted by a group of teachers collaboratively in the long term and continuous. Lesson study in three stages, namely plan (planning), Do (implementation using a model CIRC), and See (reflection). The perpose of this study was to describe the increase in student learning activities for learning outcomes in science subjects by using CIRC model based lesson study in class IX F. The technicue of collecting data using interviews, documentation, testing, and observation. The results of analysis of the data showed on the stage og pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2 showed good activity deficits improve learning of 48,28%, 69,42%, and 71,14% or completeness of student learning outcomes 62,16%, 75,68%, and 83,78%. The conclusion from this study is that there is increased activity and mastery learning students with CIRC model-based lesson sudy in class IX F SMPN 9 Jember.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine The Effect Of Type Script Cooperative Learning Model By Using Practice Method Through Students’ Multipresentation Skill In Learning Physics at senior high school. This type of research is the study of experimental, the determination of population using purposive sampling area methods. This research was carried out in senior high schhol muhammadiyah 3 jember. The respondents determined after research carried out a test of its homogeneity. Design research using the control-group post test only design. Data from this research there are two type, the primary data and supporting data. The primary data obtained from test, and supporting data obtained from observation, documentationed intervie. The primary data processing using independent sample t-test. The result of t-test obtained by the value of the sig 0,000 < 0,05. Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that there is a significant difference between the results of Type Script Cooperative Learning Model By Using Practice Method commonly used by teacher. Abstract

This research focused on the application of POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media. The purpose of this research is to describe the scientific work skills of students by using POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media in science-physics learning in junior high school and assess the effect of POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media of student’s achievement science-physics learning in junior high school. This type of research is experiment research at SMP 1 Jember. Data collection method used were observation, portfolios, documentation, test and interview. Data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test with SPSS 16.The analysis results of scientific work skills using descriptive analysis is 3,45 with the criteria is very good. The analysis result of student’s learning achievement is 0,723> 0,05. Based on the analysis result,we can concluded that the scientific work skills by POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media is categorized as very good but has no effect on student’s science achievement.

Abstract

This research discusses about development of LKS multirepresentation based problem solving that is used as an alternative physics learning in the classroom. The research’s purpose is to determine the logic validity of LKS, the problem solving skills of students after using LKS, and the student responses after using LKS. Design of this research use 4-D development models, then simple random sampling technique to choose the using class. The results of this research indicates that the logic validity of LKS multirepresentation based problem solving obtain a value 3,98 and included in quite valid category. The problem solving skills of students after use LKS multirepresentation based problem solving with average achieved 85% that included in good category. Meanwhile, the student responses after use LKS multirepresentation based problem solving divided six indicators, there are: the pleasure of learning with a value 97% that included in very good category, the newness of the learning components with a value 90% that included in very good category, the easiness of learning materials with a value 95% that included in very good category, the readability of learning process with a value 97% that included in very good category, the easiness of language with a value 92% that included in very good category, the pleasure of writing and drawing with a value 97% that included in very good category.

Abstract

Quantum Learning Model with experiment method is a fun learning model designed by having entire dynamics to support its learning goal completely and all connections, interaction and supportive aspects to optimize students learning momentum to find application and concept of subjects by themselves with teacher as a guide only. The purpose of this research are to analyze influence of Quantum Learning Model to student learning outcomes in physics subjects as the research itself is experimental research. Data collection techniques in this research use documentations of available information, observation, test and interview. The data analyses used in order to answer problem formulations are descriptive and T-test independent sample by using SPSS 16. The result of this research are (1) in cognitive domain the average post test result of experimental class better than control class which are 69,94 in experimental class and 59,81 in control class, (2) in affective domain the research showed difference between the two classes which are average post test result of experimental class is measured as “Good” while control class result is measured as “Quite”. (3) Psychomotor domain showed increasing psychometric score in each meetings and (4) learning results that are obtained from T-test Independent Sample analyses in equal variances assumed showed Sig. 2-tailed score (0,0000) ≤ 0,05. The conclusion of this research obtained from the fact that results of experimental class is better than control class showed that Quantum Leaning model with experimental method affected students result learning in physics subject matter.

Abstract

This research concerned on the implementation of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with experimental practice. The objectives of this research were  to know the effect of cognitive, affective and psicomotor of students in learning physics. This research was experimental research with Randomized Post-test Only Control Group design. The population of this research was X MIA at SMAN 3 Jember. The data were collected by using observation, documentation, test and interview. The data was analyze  by using independent sample t-test dengan SPSS 23. The results of this research showed that the cognitive score in the experimental class was better than the cognitive score in the control class. This research was indicated succesful since there was a significant effect of cooperative learning type student teams achievement division (STAD) in students’ cognitive achievement.

Abstract

This research is development research focused on the self assessment of physics based on web. The objective of the research are to produce a web-based physics learning assessment are valid, describing student’scientific attitude, and describing student’s responseby used self assessment based on web. Design of development research uses 4-D model. The population of the research is the student of class X at SMA Negeri Arjasa,while the sample is class X Mathematic Science 1. The method of obtaining the data used is logical validation, self assessment scientific attitude, and questionaire responses. The descriptive analysis of validation and scientific attitude used percentage table of validation logic and criteria of atudent’s learning scientific attitude. Conclusion of this research showed, the validity of the web-based self assessment instrument can be categorize valid with logical validation 4,01; scintific attitude students showed 61,90% are good and 38,10% are very good; and students given positif responses to the web-based self assessment insrument.

Abstract

The research focused on the implementation of project basedlearning model in the learning physics. Purposes of this study were todescribe the students science process skills during teaching and learningprocess and to investigate the student’s achievement after learning physicsusing project based learning model better than the student’s achievementafter learning physics using the usual model in Senior High School. Thetype of this research was true experiment with post test only control groupdesign. The population of this research were students of class X at SMAN 1Probolinggo (2015/2016). Technique to collect the data wereobservation, test, documentation, interview, and portofolio. The data ofstudent’s achievement were analized by using Independent Sample T-Testwith the help of SPSS 22. The results of this research were: (1) the averageof percentage students science process skills for experimental class fromKBM I dan II was 85.09%, (2) the result data of student’s achievement byusing Independent Sample T-Test was H1 accepted, H0 rejected, it meansthe student’s achievement after learning physics using project basedlearning model better than the student’s achievement after learning physicsusing the usual model in Senior High School. The research can beconcluded that: the students science process skills during teaching andlearning process was classified into very good criteria and the student’sachievement after learning physics using project based learning modelbetter than the student’s achievement after learning physics using the usualmodel in Senior High School.
