Abstract

Learning based of scientific approach is learning that adopts measures scientists in constructing knowledge through scientific method. Teaching materials of the scientific approach is that it included videos, flash animations, and pictures containing occurrences in everyday life as well as questions that stimulate students to discover the physics concept independently.The purpose of this study are to produce a teaching materials based of scientific approach on valid, describing the response of students after learning using this teaching materials, and describe the understanding concept of student. This type of research is the development, design by using 4D. This study has been completed in SMAN II Jember with subjects of the research is class X MIA 1. The techniques of data collection are used interviews, documentation, logic validation, questionnaire respons and tests. The results of the validation data analysis science teaching materials based on scientific approach that have been developed, the value validation from experts, which is 3,92. Student responses showed 77% positive response and classical understanding of student showed 77%. The conclusion of this study is a science teaching materials based on scientific approach logically considered in valid enough, student responses after using this teaching materials categorized in positive responses and student’s results studies expressed in undertand category.

Abstract

SQ3R method is an efficient method of reading that can involve students become active in constructing science and engaging students to be active in studying and understanding the material directly that consists of 5 steps: survey, question, read, recite, and review. In step students are required to recite to make concept maps according to the understanding the material being.  The purpose of this study was to describe the learning activities of students during the learning SQ3R method using of science, examines the differences in learning outcomes and retention result learn of science use SQ3R method with a method is commonly used in school. This type of research is research design the research experiments with using post-test control design. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis methods to test hypotheses using Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 16. The results of this research are the learning activities of students during the learning SQ3R method using of science criteria are active and there are significant differences in the results of the learning and retention of learning outcomes students use SQ3R method of science with method that are commonly used in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence cooperative learning STAD type model of experiment method to the science process skills and physics learning outcomes of student grade X at SMA Negeri Kalisat. The type of this research is experiments research by design research using the post test control group. Data collection methods were test, observation, portfolio, documentation, and interview. Data analysis methods was using Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 16. The average of science process skills on this research is 86,14 for experimental class and 81,28 for controlled class. Science process skills analysis from Independent Sample T-Test obtaining significance value (1-tailed) based on this result is 0,001. While the student learning outcomes consist of 3 competences knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Based on the Independent Sample T-Test analysis (1-tailed) significance for the knowledge competence is, attitude is 0,000, and skills is 0,001. Based on the data obtained, the conclusion of this research that the learning STAD type model of experiment method have an effect on to the science process skills and physics learning outcomes of student grade X at SMA Negeri Kalisat.

Abstract

Web-based learning is learning that utilizes media homepage (website) is in the process of learning between students and teachers. E-learning is any learning activities that use electronic technology assistance. This research is the development of research aims to produce interactive web-based learning materials with the E-Learning application a valid Moodle as well as knowing the results of the study of physics students and the level of activity of the students after using such materials. The design of this research is to use 4 d. This research was conducted on the subject of Jember SMAN 2 research is the grade X MIA 2. Data processing techniques used are documentation, validation logic, test and observation . Based on the results of the research have been obtained it can be concluded that the interactive web-based learning materials with the moodle e-learning applications categorized quite valid and viable 3,66 value used in learning activities, overall students who have good activity is equal to 61%, and learning outcomes students are said to be good with improved student learning outcomes by 42%.
