Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to find out the different effect of learning models using scientific approach on the students’ learning achievement viewed from the students’ reasoning ability. This study was a quasi-experimental research with a 3x3 factorial design. The population of research was all of the 8th graders of Junior High Schools throughout Tegal regency in the school year of 2014/2015. The sampling technique used was stratified cluster random sampling. The data analysis was conducted using a two-way anava with unbalanced cells at significance level of 5%. The results of research showed: (1) the learning achievement of students treated with PBL PS was equally good to that of those treated with GI PS, that of those treated with PBL PS and GI PS was better than that of those with TPS PS, (2) the learning achievement of students with high reasoning ability was equally good to that of those with medium one, the learning achievements of students with high and medium reasoning ability were better than that of those with low one, (3) in each reasoning ability, the learning achievement of students treated with PBL PS was equally good to that of those treated with GI PS, that of those treated with PBL PS and GI PS was better than that of those with TPS PS, and (4) in each learning model, the learning achievement of students with high reasoning ability was equally good to that of those with medium one, the learning achievements of students with high and medium reasoning ability were better than that of those with low one.Keywords: Scientific PBL (PBL PS), scientific GI (GI PS), scientific TPS (TPS PS) and reasoning ability.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: a) untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan sempoa dalam matakuliah aritmatika terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, b) untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sempoa dalam mata kuliah aritmatika terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanasi (explanation) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji analisis korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan pengunaan sempoa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, dan uji analisis regresi sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sempoa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Uji analisis ini menggunakan SPPS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terdapat koefisien korelasi penggunaan sempoa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis bernilai positif sebesar 0,808. Penggunaan sempoa memberikan pengaruh sebesar 65,2% terhadap kemampuan berbikir kreatif matematis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Penelitian ini bersifat konklusif bertujuan menjelaskan pengaruh antar variabel yang dibedakan menjadi variabel independen sebagai variabel penyebab dan variabel dependen sebagai variabel yang menjadi akibat. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis, dan uji analisis regresi untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui deskripsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika menurut Polya pada materi transformasi linier. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitin ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Peradaban pada tahun akademik 2018/2019. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan matamatika Universitas Peradaban. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa S1 memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori baik, S2 memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori sangat baik dan S3 memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori baik. Secara umum ketiganya dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan berdasarkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada materi Transformasi Linear, walaupun belum keseluruhan langkah-langkah pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan baik.Kata kunci: masalah matematika, pemecahan masalah, Polya, Transformasi Linier
