Abstract

Problems in this research were there is no Indonesian language module for the 10th grade students of targeted vocational high school implementating of curriculum 2013 in accordance with the needs and characteristics of the students. This research was aimed to produce Indonesian language modules that accordance with the needs and characteristics of the students in the 10th grade of SMK, that is  life skills based module and to determine its feasibility. The result showed that the validity of the design modules development is 94,91; the validity of the substance material is 95,27; benefit percentage is 91,11; effeciency percentage is 91,00; eligibility recognition for the module as supplement and teaching materials in Metro city; and accordance reading level is averaged of sentence on 6,61 of the text and 240,8 syllable of 100 word.Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah belum adanya modul bahasa Indonesia untuk kelas X SMK sasaran implementasi kurikulum 2013 yang sesuai dengan kebu-tuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik yang telah teruji validitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karak-teristik peserta didik kelas X SMK, yaitu modul yang berbasis life skills dan mengetahui kelayakannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul hasil pengembangan memiliki nilai validitas desain sebesar 94,91; nilai validitas substansi materi sebesar 95,27; per-sentase manfaat sebesar 91,11; persentase efesiensi sebesar 91,00;  tingkat keter-bacaan sesuai dengan tingkat atau kelas X SMK dengan jumlah kalimat rata-rata 6,61 per teks dan suku kata 240,8 per 100 kata; dan pengakuan kelayakan sebagai suplemen dan bahan ajar oleh publik dalam forum MGMP bahasa Indonesia SMK di kota Metro.Kata kunci: life skills, modul, pengembangan.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis merupakan penyebab kematian nomor tiga terbesar setelah penyakit kardiovaskuler dan ISPA pada semua golongan umur. Data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Semarang menunjukkan puskesmas-puskesmas di wilayah Kota Semarang berturut-turut tahun 2012 (35 orang) dan 2013 (31 orang) selalu masuk peringkat tiga besar daerah dengan kasus kekambuhan tb paru tertinggi se-Jawa Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penjamu (host) dan faktor lingkungan (environment) yang berhubungan dengan kejadian tuberkulosis paru relaps di puskesmas se-Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan case control. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 orang penderita tb paru kambuh dan 16 orang penderita tb paru yang telah sembuh yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposivesampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji chi square. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor penjamu dan faktor lingkungan yang berhubungan dengan tb paru kambuh yaitu ketaatan pengobatan sebelumnya (p=0,005; OR=13,00), jenis lantai (p=0,011; OR=11,667), dan jenis dinding (p=0,005; OR=13,00). Saran kepada masyarakat Kota Semarang untuk menambah informasi mengenai hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan tuberkulosis paru (penyebab, bahaya, dan cara pencegahan) sehingga dapat meminimalisir kemungkinan terjadi tuberkulosis paru, baik kasus kambuh maupun kasus baru.Tuberculosis is the third largest cause of death after cardiovascular and respiratory disease in all groups of age. The data of Semarang Health Department shows that health centers in Semarang territory from 2012 (35 people) until 2013 (31 people) has become the top three regions with the highest cases of pulmonary tuberculosis recurrence of Central Java. The purpose of this study was investigated the host and environmental factors associated with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis relapse in health centers of Semarang.This study used a case control approach. The Respondents were 16 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis recurrence and 16 patients who had been cured of pulmonary tuberculosis obtained bysimple purposive sampling technique.The data was analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis based on chi square test. The results of this study could be concluded that host factors and environmental factors associated with pulmonary TB relapse that is obedience previous treatment (p = 0,005; OR = 13,00), type of floor (p = 0,011; OR = 11,667), and type of wall (p = 0,005; OR = 13,00).The suggestion of this study was Semarang societylearned more any information related to pulmonary tuberculosis (the cause, danger, and ways of prevention) to minimize the possibility of pulmonary tuberculosis, both cases of recurrence or new case.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze role of the leaders, learning organization, and competence of the performance studies program. Other than that, to determine the effect of role of the leaders by learning organization and competence, also it’s impact on the performance of the study program. The research carried out on an accredited S1 courses in Private collages in Jakarta, the method used in this research is survey method, which are descriptive survey and explanatory survey. Structural Equation Model was used as the analysis technique along with PLS, number of sample in total of 110 courses. Determination of the sample using Stratified Random Sampling, which is the three strata of accreditation ratings: A, B, and C, the proportional of the total of 611 courses. The result of the research show that there is a influence over role of the leaders, the variable learning organization and competence on performance, that the better role of the leaders, learning organization and increasing competence will impact performance. The impact of the competence against the performance is small, which means the competence of the course not always give a dominant influence for the performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence and the nature of the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior with three influences namely motivation, compensation, and organizational commitment. The method used in this research is descriptive and causality of respondents involved in this research as many as 41 permanent employees. This research uses purposive sample. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and the method for data analysis in this research is multiple linear regression. The result of this study is that there is no significant negative impact on motivation and, there is significant impact positive on compensation, organizational commitment to organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

The purpose from this research is to determine how to influence human resource management practice such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, and compensation to organizational per-formance. The methods which is used on the research is descriptive and casuality. Respondents who in volved in this study is permanent employees with staff level who work for Hoka-Hoka Bento in all branches Bekasi as much as 160 people. This research used saturated sampling technique. The data was obtained from primary data which has been collected through questionnaires with likert scale. The methods of data analys is on this research are simple regression and multiple regression. The result soft his research are variable of recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, and compensation have positive influence to organizational performance individually. Recruitment and selection is variable that have the most significant impact on organizational performance.

Abstract

The research was conducted to find out whether or not the use of Jigsaw II technique improves the reading comprehension significantly better than the use of the conventional method of the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Takalar, it covered students? literal comprehension, inferential comprehension and critical comprehension of expository text and whether or not the students are interested in the use of Jigsaw II technique in learning reading of expository text. This research method employed was quasi-experiment. The research data were obtained through the test and questionnaire which were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 program. Data of test were analyzed using T-test to know students? reading comprehension in terms of literal, inferential, and critical of expository text. Data of the questionnaire were analyzed by using descriptive statistics to see the students? interest in joining the reading class of expository text through Jigsaw II technique.  The research findings indicated that (1) Jigsaw II technique gave a higher contribution to the students? reading comprehension of expository text. The mean score of pretest of the experimental and control group was significantly different after treatment by using Jigsaw II technique. The mean score of posttest of the experimental group was higher than the control group (84.16 > 62.91). Thus, the use of Jigsaw II technique was effective. Besides, all the three levels of comprehension improved after doing treatment; the literal comprehension got the highest improvement was 92.19>76.69. It was followed by inferential comprehension which got 83.75>66.25, and critical comprehension which got76.56 > 42.81.
