Abstract

4-coumarate:Coenzyme A ligase (4CL) plays an important role in lignin biosynthetic pathway thatcatalyzed the activation of coumaric acid, caffeic acid or ferulic acid to be a syringil monomer. Ligninbiosynthesis control through 4CL down regulating would support lower lignin wood production. Theobjective of this study was to clone conserved region cDNA of gene encoding 4CL. Gene fragment isolation wasconducted by means of reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) using degenerateheterologous primer. The RT-PCR products were purified, sequenced and analyzed to select the highlyhomologous fragment to 4CL. BLASTanalysis result showed that deduction of amino acid sequences from oneof two RT-PCR product nucleotide was highly homologous with the 4CL conserved region from Rubbus ideaus,Oryza sativa, Populus tomentosa, Populus balsamifera, Betulla platyphilla, Nicotiana tabacum, and Arabidopsisthaliana with identity ranging from 78-90%.Key words: 4-coumarate: Coenzyme A ligase, lignin, sengon

Abstract

This research aimed to produce a didactic design of equations and linear inequality one variable through scientific approach to develop ability of mathematical communication of grade VII students of junior high school. This type of research is research and development that follows the steps of Borg and Gall which started from a preliminary study in the form of a need analysis, didactic design organizing, didactic design validation followed by revision, field trials followed by revision, and field test. The field test showed that didactical design which had been produced could be classified as useable by design expert judgment. The results of field trialindicated that ability of mathematical communication in good criterion, saw from the percentage of mastery learning which had been fulfilled. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan desain didaktis persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengikuti langkah-langkah Borg and Gall, yaitu diawali dari studi pendahuluan berupa analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan desain didaktis, validasi desain didaktis dilanjutkan revisi, ujicoba terbatas dilanjutkan revisi, dan uji lapangan dilanjutkan revisi. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan bahwa desain didaktis yang dihasilkan layak. Hasil ujicoba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam kriteria baik dilihat persentase ketuntasan belajar telah terpenuhi.Kata kunci : desain didaktis dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis.

Abstract

This research development aims to find out how the result of developing LKPD based on PBL and its effectiveness to mathematical communication and disposition ability of students. Subjects in this research development is students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu Academic Year 2016/2017. The research data was obtained through mathematical communication test and mathematical disposition scale of the students. Preliminary study results indicate the need for the development of LKPD based on PBL. Validation results indicate that LKPD has met the content and design feasibility standards. The results of a limited trial show that LKPD is included in either category. The conclusion of this research are (1) improvement of students mathematical communication and disposition ability following learning using LKPD based on PBL  higher than students who follow conventional learning and, (2) LKPD based on PBL is effective for improving students mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition of students. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil mengembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL serta efektifitasnya terhadap kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes komunikasi matematis dan skala disposisi matematis siswa. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD berbasis PBL. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD berbasis PBL lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, dan (2) LKPD berbasis PBL efektif untuk meningkatkan ke­mampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: LKPD PBL, komunikasi matematis, disposisi matematis

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve understanding of learners concept by developing Learners Worksheets based on ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM) and to know the effectiveness of the ability to understand the concept. The design of this study follows the stages of research according to Akker. The subjects are students of class X SMK Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung 2016/2017 and some experts at every stage of development. The research data was obtained through a mathematical concept comprehension test. Data analysis techniques use t-test and N-Gain. The result of one to one test shows that the learners worksheet based on ATM is included in a very good category. The field test results show that the ability to understand the mathematical concepts using learners worksheet based on ATM is higher than the ability to understand the mathematical concepts without learners worksheet based on ATM and quite effective in improving the ability to understand the mathematical concepts.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) dan mengetahui efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan tahap-tahap penelitian menurut Akker. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dan beberapa ahli pada setiap tahapan pengembangan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan N-Gain. Hasil uji perorangan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis ATM termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji terbatas menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis ATM lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan LKPD berbasis ATM dan tergolong cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik.Kata kunci: ATM, LKPD, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

Preliminary research found that learning result of quadratic function to 55% student was < 70. Learning materials, such as Student Work Sheet (named as Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik/LKPD) need to be developed. The objectives of the research are to describe Quadratic Fungction LKPD designed to develop concept understanding; to know the ability of understanding quadratic function concept from students with and without Saintific based LKPD. This is a research and development. The subject of the research  was students of Class XI Pharmacy of SMK IB Khalifah Bangsa Academic Year 2017/2018. Data was collected by expert validation, student questionnaire, and test of concept mastery. Proper test done by content expert approved good category, where as very good category approved by learning media expert. Students approved totally agree to the use of LKPD. The result of the test to experiment group was 75% mastery, where as control group was only 21% mastery.Studi pendahuluan diketahui bahwa hasil belajar fungsi kuadrat 55% siswa mendapat nilai < 70. Bahan belajar berupa LKPD fungsi kuadrat perlu dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini: Mendeskripsikan LKPD fungsi kuadrat yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep; Mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep fungsi kuadrat peserta didik menggunakan LKPD bebasis saintifik dibandingkan dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep fungsi kuadrat peserta didik tanpa menggunakan LKPD berbasis saintifik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Farmasi SMK IB Khalifah Bangsa TP 2017/2018. Pengumpulan data dengan validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Uji kelayakan LKPD oleh ahli materi dengan kategori baik, sedangkan oleh ahli media dengan kategori sangat baik. Data respon peserta didik menunjukkan kategori sangat setuju dengan penggunaan LKPD. Hasil tes pemahaman konsep pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan 75% tuntas, sedangkan hasil tes pemahaman konsep pada kelas kontrol menunjukkan 21% tuntas.Kata Kunci: LKPD, saintifik, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

This research development aimed to develop of TAPPS strategy worksheet for increasing mathematical communication ability. This study was initiated with preliminary studies, the composing, the validation, preliminary field testing, and main field testing. The subject of this research was students of VII D class of SMP N 1 Seputih Raman. The result of preliminary study indicated that there was a need to develop worksheet. The arranges of worksheet were started with the draft-preperation and all of components based on the composing guidelines. The result of the validation showed that the worksheet got the standard qualification for its content and design. The field trial results showed that students mathematical communication aspect was good enough because more than 70 % of the students have reached minimum criteria.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil pengembangan LKPD berbasis strategi TAPPS untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Penelitian ini diawali dari studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Raman Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD berbasis startegi TAPPS. Penyusunan LKPD diawali dengan menyusun draft LKPD dan semua komponennya berdasarkan panduan penyusunan LKPD. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, dan desain. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa aspek komunikasi matematis siswa cukup baik karena lebih dari 70% siswa telah memenuh kriteria ketuntasan minimal.Kata kunci: Komunikasi matematis, LKPD, TAPPS.

Abstract

This research aims to create the student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry, and fasilitate mathematics critical thinking ability. The development steps are: preliminary study, planning, pre product development, pre test, pre product revision and field test. The data collected by observasion technique, documentation, interview, questionnaire and test. Student’s worksheets are validated based on the media and material, then revised based on the expert advice. The subject of this research is 7th grade students SMP Negeri 30 Bandar Lampung Academic year 2016/2017. This research show that developing student’s worksheet  based on guided inquiry is good categorized which reach 79,19% (media expert), 76% (material expert) and 71,07% average of mathematics critical thingking. But the developing student’s worksheet be inefectif because posttest only reaches 67,74%.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan tahap-tahap yaitu, studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji tahap awal, revisi produk awal dan uji lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Lembar kerja peserta didik divalidasi dari segi media dan materi, kemudian direvisi sesuai saran dari para ahli. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 30 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dikategorikan baik dengan persentase 79,17% (ahli media), 76% (ahli materi) serta kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik terfasilitasi terlihat dari tercapainya semua indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan rata-rata 71,07%. Akan tetapi pengembangan LKPD dinyatakan tidak efektif, bila dilihat ketercapaian ketuntasan hasil posttest sebesar 67,74%.Kata Kunci : LKPD, inkuiri terbimbing, berpikir kritis matematis, efektif

Abstract

The spectral analysis of surface waves (SASW) is an in situ non-destructive method. It has been developed and used for many years in the fields of geotechnical engineering and site characterization. It is typically used in evaluation of elastic moduli and layer thickness of soils, rocks and pavements.In this study the SASW was used to measure an attenuation coefficient (α) of near surface material at 15 development sites with different material e.i. soils, granite and methamorphics rock.. The attenuation coefficient which is the exponential decay constant of the amplitude of surface wavepropagation was approximated by Bornitz equation. The amplitude of vertical ground surface vibration generated by impact tests on the ground surface was measured at various radial distances.A good empirical correlation between the measured attenuation coefficients and the corresponding shear modulus and SPT or RQD data were established. These results suggest that the attenuation coefficient could be used as an alternative parameter for characterization of near surface material. Based on this method, the subsurface material at sites the study can be classified into two groups.The first group represented a low stiffness material with attenuation values of greater than 0.00516 s/m and the second group was a high stiffness material with attenuation values of less than 0.00150 s/m.However, this method of evaluation was still in development stage and needs to be substantiated with more results of measurements.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop worksheet based on inquiry to facilitate the critical thinking ability of learners on the subject of probability. Development stage in this research refers to the model of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects in this study are students class VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Udik Academic Year 2017/2018. This research data obtained through questionnaire and test of critical thinking ability. The results of validation by the instructional media experts and material experts indicate that worksheet is in good category. Initial field test results indicate that worksheet is a practical category. Field test results show that worksheet based on inquiry is not effective in facilitating critical thinking ability, only 68.75% of the students who passed KKM. Thus it can be concluded that worksheet based on inquiry developed is not effective facilitating the critical thinking ability of students.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis inquiry guna memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pokok bahasan peluang. Tahap pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Udik Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media pembelajaran dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji lapangan tahap awal menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk kategori praktis. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis inquiry tidak efektif memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis, hanya 68,75% peserta didik yang lulus KKM. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis inquiry yang dikembangkan tidak efektif memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.Kata kunci: LKPD, inquiry, kemampuan berpikir kritis, peluang
