Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh belum adanya bahan ajar berbasis discovery learning yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian pengembangan modul fisika pada pokok bahasan listrik dinamis dengan menggunakan model discovery learning pada siswa kelas X 8 SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mendeskripsikan:  (1)  validitas  modul,  (2)  kepraktisan modul, (3) efektivitas modul (4) pencapaian keterampilan proses sains dan (5) pencapaian sikap ilmiah dengan modul fisika yang dikembangkan menggunakan model discovery learning. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan desain ADDIE. Data diperoleh melalui lembar validasi modul, lembar keterlaksanaan RPP, tes hasil belajar siswa,  lembar  pengamatan  keterampilan  proses  sains  dan  lembar  pengamatan  sikap ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) validitas modul yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat baik, (2) kepraktisan modul berdasarkan lembar keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori   sangat   baik,   (3)   efektivitas   modul   bernilai   efektif,   (4)   pencapaian keterampilan proses sains dikategorikan baik dan (5) pencapaian sikap ilmiah bernilai baik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa modul fisika pada pokok bahasan listrik dinamis dengan menggunakan model discovery learning layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

A study on improving students’ reading comprehension using the Numbered Heads Together Technique

Abstract

This study deals with improving the reading comprehension of junior high school students through the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) technique. The objective is to find out if cooperative learning using NHT can improve the reading comprehension of the students. The data for this research was obtained from a field study using an experimental research design at a middle school in Aceh Besar with a one group time series design. From the study, it was found that the students’ mean scores from the pre-test and the post-test were different. The mean score of the students’ post-test was higher than the pre-test scores. To find out if the two mean scores were significantly different, they were tested using the t-test statistical procedure.  The result showed that they were significantly different (df = 8, alpha 0.05, t-table 17.550 > 2.0452). This indicated that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected as hypothesized. Thus, cooperative learning using the NHT technique can improve the reading comprehension skills of middle school students.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in herbs. One of them is Noni (Morinda citrifolia). Noni fruit has good benefits for the body such as natural antioxidants and several other benefits. The use of noni fruit as herbal medicine is often used but the way make was still very inadequate to get the optimum effect on the plant. One effort that can be done is to make it a cream preparation liposomes that are used topically. Aims of this research was formulation of Transdermal liposome cream from noni fruit extract. The result showed that the total phenolic content of the extract of noni fruit was as much as 180 µg GAE/g ekstrak. The result of the evaluation of transdermal liposome cream preparation obtained both formulas have viscosity of 9,000 cps and 38.000 cps respectively, have uniform vesicle shape, high adsorption efficiency of 95% and 96,67%, but in formula 2 pH obtained did not fulfill the criteria of topical preparation, while formula 1 fulfilled the criterion that is 6,5. From these results it can be concluded that the noni fruit extract can be prepared in the form of transdermal cream preparations which have good physical characteristics achieved by formula 1.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kopi Arabika adalah salah satu komoditas yang diprioritaskan pengembangannya oleh pemerintah Indonesia saat ini. Minuman kopi arabika dikota banda aceh telah menjadi terkenal yang di tandai dengan tumbuhnya usaha-usaha kedai kopi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan loyalitas konsumen terhadap minuman kopi Arabika di Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian digunakan metode survei dengan sampel konsumen minuman kopi Arabika di Kota Banda Aceh. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga dan cita rasa memiliki hubungan loyalitas konsumen terhadap minuman kopi Arabika di Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi Chi-square menunjukkan bahwa pada harga dan cita rasa, mempunyai hubungan positif dengan tingkat signifikan 0,017. Maka Ha diterima karena nilai peluang (Sig.) < tingkat signifikan α = 5% (0,05). Artinya variabel harga dan cita rasa mempunyai hubungan yang positif terhadap loyalitas konsumen.Consumer Loyalty To The Arabica Coffee Drink In The City Of Banda AcehAbstract. Arabica coffee is one of the preferred crop development by the government of Indonesia today. Arabica coffee drinks in the city of Banda Aceh has become famous in the mark with the growing efforts of the coffee shop. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of consumer loyalty to Arabica coffee drink in the city of Banda Aceh. The study was conducted by a questionnaire survey on 100 consumers drink coffee Arabica in the city of Banda Aceh. The sample used in this study is purposive sampling method. The analysis model used is the Chi-square test. The results showed that the relationship of customer loyalty to the Arabica coffee drinks in Banda Aceh is the price and taste. The results of data analysis using Chi-square correlation analysis shows that the price and taste, have a positive relationship with a significant level of 0.017. So Ha received for value opportunities (Sig.) < a significant level α = 5% (0,05). This means that the variable price and taste positively related to customer loyalty.
