Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengamati pengaruh penambahan lampu LED berwarna pada pertumbuhan tanaman krisan, dan untuk mengamati lampu warna yang sesuai yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman krisan terbaik. Desain eksperimental yang digunakan adalah Completely Randomized Design (CRD) dengan satu faktor. Faktor yang digunakan adalah lampu warna LED, terdiri dari warna lampu LED merah, kuning, hijau, biru, dan putih. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, diikuti oleh uji LSD (Least Significance Different) jika efek pengobatannya signifikan. Variabel mengamati bahwa variabel pertumbuhan meliputi: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan luas kanopi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan lampu LED berwarna berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan krisan. Penambahan lampu LED berwarna meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman. Warna lampu merah memberikan efek terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh tinggi tanaman tertinggi (71,50 cm), jumlah helai daun paling banyak (33,00) dan luas kanopi terbesar (478,34 cm2). The objectives of this research were to observe the effect of addition coloured LED light on plant growth of chrysanthemum, and to observe the appropriate color lights that resulted to the best plant growth of chrysanthemum. The experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor. The factor used was LED color lights, consisted of red, yellow, green, blue, and white LED light colors. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by LSD (Least Significance Different) test if the treatment effect was significant. The variables observed that growth variables include: plant height, number of leaf and canopy area. The result showed that addition coloured LED light of positive effect against the growth of chrysanthemum. The addition of coloured LED light increased the plant growth. The red light color gave the best effect against plant growth. It showed by the highest plant height (71.50 cm), the most number of leaf blade (33.00) and the biggest canopy area (478.34 cm2).

Abstract

The measurement of EC can be conducted in two ways, namely electromagnetic induction and direct contact. This study using capacitive direct contact. The aims of this study were to determine the relationship of configurations shape each other of electrode to the measurements performance, and to determine to treatment that has the best performance. The study was started by designing the electrodes then continued by functional test and performance test. The treatments used was electrodes shape of ring, hair and triangle, and electrodes configuration of each shape was 2, 4, 6 and 8. The electrode probe was inserting into the soil with the depth of 20 cm to get the frequency and at the same time soil sample was collected for analyzed in the laboratory to get the EC values. Based on those data the relationship of between soil frequency and EC were then analyzed. The results indicated that the best performance was hair shapes with 2 configuration. The equation of soil frequency and EC was EC = 0.080590 F(soil) - 4.48289 with R2 = 0.851, RMSE = 0.066, stability = 0.02 and respond time = 7.41 second.

Abstract

Telah dilaksanakan penelitian terkait perancangan dan pembuatan alat distribusi ikan segar menggunakan media pendingin ice pack untuk pedagang ikan keliling. Penelitian dilaksakana bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat alat distribusi ikan segar yang dapat mempertahankan suhu ikan segar selama transportasi dan penjualan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dari beberapa tahapan diantaranya identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan fungsional, perancangan structural dan uji kinerja. Alat distribusi ikan segar yang dibuat tersusun atas ruang penyimpanan ikan, media pendingin ice pack, dan dudukan ruang penyimpanan. Sedangkan untuk pengujian kinerja terdiri dari capaian suhu ruang penyimpanan ikan dalam kondisi kosong, capaian lama waktu alat distribusi ikan dalam mempertahankan suhu rendah ikan, pengukuran nilai Coefficient of Performance (COP), dan penilaian mutu ikan sebelum dan sesudah transportasi dan penjualan dengan uji organoleptik. Hasil pengujian kinerja menunjukkan bahwa capaian suhu terendah ruang penyimpanan ikan adalah -12.30C dengan lama pendinginan hingga batas atas 50C adalah 14.3 jam. Alat distribusi ikan segar yang dibuat dapat mempertahankan suhu rendah ikan dengan batas atas 50C selama 32,03 jam, dengan nilai COP sebesar 0.67.  Berdasarkan uji mutu ikan didapatkan bahwa nilai mutu ikan yang dijual sebelum, setelah transportasi dan setelah penyimpanan adalah 8.0, 7.4, dan 6.2.   Research on fresh fish distribution tool using ice pack as cooling media for small-scale fresh fish retailer was conducted. The research aimed to design fresh fish distribution system for small-scale fresh fish retailer which can maintain the quality of fresh fish during transportation. This research was carried out through several stages, i.e. identification of needs, functional design, structural design and performance test. Fresh fish distribution tool using ice pack as cooling media for fresh fish small-scale retailer consisted fish storage room, fish storage room cover, ice pack, rack and fish storage stand. Performance test was carried out by observing the room temperature of fish storage room in unloaded condition and fish temperature during 4 hours transportation, determining the coefficient of performance (COP) value and observing the fish quality during transportation with organoleptic test. The result showed that the room temperature of fish storage room in unloaded condition could reach -12.30C after 24 minutes operation and maintain temperature with 50C upper limit for 14,3 hours, the distribution tool using ice pack as cooling media could maintain the fish temperature with 50C upper limit for 32.03 hours and organoleptic quality values before transportation, after transportation and after 12 hour storage were 8.0, 7.4, and 6.2. Values of COP was 0.67. This result has fulfilled the requirement of fish quality standard according to national standardization institution.

The study was started by designing the electrodes then continued by functional test and performance test. The treatments used was electrodes distances of 3, 6, 9, 12 & 15 mm. The electrode probe was inserting into the soil with the depth of 20 cm to get the frequency and at the same time soil sample was collected for analyzed in the laboratory to get the EC values. Based on those data the relationship of between soil frequency and EC were then analyzed. The results indicated that the best performance electrode with distance 3 mm. The equation of soil frequency and EC was EC = 0.186875 Fsoil - 10.5695 with R2 = 0.861, RMSE = 0.04, stability = 0.04 and respond time = 37.35 second.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mencari ketinggian akuisisi dengan kualitas hasil foto udaraterbaik. Akuisisi foto udara dilakukan dengan drone. Ketinggian akuisisi foto udara adalah 10m,20m dan 30m. foto udara yang diambil merupakan foto tanaman padi varietas ciherang denganumur 100 hari setelah tanam. Analisis detail foto udara dilakukan dengan proses zooming danbinerisasi citra. Proses zooming menggunakan software Adobe Photoshop Cs6. Proses binerisasicitra menggunakan Software MatLab 2013. Ketinggian akuisisi 10m memiliki kualitas detailterbaik.   Aim of this research is to find aerial photography acquisition altitude with the best quality image. The acquisition of aerial photography was done by using drones. Altitude of aerial photography acquisition was 10m, 20m and 30m. Aerial photos taken a image of ciherang rice varieties with the age of 100 days after planting. Detailed analysis of aerial photography was done by zooming and image binary. Zooming process was used Adobe Photoshop CS6 software. Binary imagery processed using MatLab 2013 software. The best quality of photo detail was obtained at 10m acquisition altitude.

Abstract

Sumber air sistem irigasi Subak Natak Tiyis berasal dari hulu air drainase subak. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan neraca air irigasi tidak menentu di Subak Natak Tiyis, sehingga perlu penelitian lebih lanjut untuk menentukan keseimbangan air irigasi yang sesuai dengan ketersediaan dan kebutuhan air irigasi di Subak Natak Tiyis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis ketersediaan dan kebutuhan air irigasi Subak Jaka sebagai Subak Natak Tiyis dan menentukan keseimbangan air irigasi di Subak Jaka sebagai Subak Natak Tiyis. Analisis ketersediaan debit dilakukan dengan mengukur debit di inlet Subak Jaka. Kebutuhan air irigasi dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak CROPWAT 8.0. Neraca air irigasi diperoleh dengan membandingkan debit air irigasi dengan availabilitis dan kebutuhan air irigasi sehingga didapatkan defisit air irigasi pada Subak Jaka. Analisis ketersediaan debit menunjukkan debit tinggi terjadi pada musim hujan yaitu 115,72 liter / detik dalam setahun. Debit terkecil terjadi pada musim kemarau yaitu 19,01 liter / detik dalam setahun. Kebutuhan air irigasi di MT I dan MT II rata-rata debit yang dibutuhkan berkisar antara 11,0 hingga 98,5 liter / detik selama 15 hari. Hasil neraca air irigasi Subak Jaka terjadi defisit air irigasi tiga periode yaitu 35,2 liter / detik pada periode Juni I yang tertinggi selama 15 hari, 16,8 liter / detik pada periode Juni II dan 30,7 liter / detik pada Januari saya yang tertinggi 15 hari. Water source of Subak Natak Tiyis irrigation system comes from the upstream of subak drainage water. Those condition was causing uncertainly irrigation water balance in Subak Natak Tiyis, thus it requires further research to determine appropriate irrigation water balance according to the availabilitiy and requirement of irrigation water in Subak Natak Tiyis. The purposes of this research were to analyze the availabilities and requirement of irrigation water of Subak Jaka as Subak Natak Tiyis and determine the water balance irrigation in the Subak Jaka as Subak Natak Tiyis. The analysis of discharge availabilities was carried out by measuring discharge at inlet Subak Jaka. Irrigation water requirement was analyzed using CROPWAT 8.0 software. irrigation water balance was obtained by comparing the discharge of irrigation water was availabilitis and irrigation water requirement so get irrigation water deficit on Subak Jaka. The analysis of discharge availabilities showed high discharge occur at rainy season that was 115.72 liter/second within a year. The smallest discharge occurs in dry season that was 19.01 liter/second within a year. Irrigation water requirement in MT I and MT II average required discharge ranged from 11.0 to 98.5 liter/second for 15 days. The result of irrigation water balance the Subak Jaka occurrence irrigation water deficit three period that was 35.2 liter/second on period June I that highest for 15 days, 16.8 liter/second on period June II and 30.7 liter/second on January I that highest for 15 days.

Abstract

Hama tikus adalah salah satu hama yang dapat merugikan petani. Serangan hama tikus dapat menurunkan hasil panen bahkan dapat mengakibatkan gagal panen. Serangan hama tikus pada tanaman padi akan mempengaruhi produktivitas lahan. Semakin besar persentase serangan hama tikus maka produktivitas lahan akan semakin rendah. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persentase serangan dengan produktivitas lahan. Tahapan – tahapan yang harus dilalui dalam penelitian ini antara lain, pengambilan data, analisis image processing, analisis regresi, validasi dan diakhiri dengan perhitungan akurasi. Pengambilan data dilapangan meliputi akuisisi foto udara dan pengukuran hasil panen. Analisis image processing menggunakan bantuan software Adobe Photoshop CS6 dan software Matlab 2013. Analisis regresi menggunakan bantuan software Microsoft Excel 2013 dengan menggunakan tiga jenis analisis regresi, antara lain : regresi linier, regresi kuadratik, regresi polinomial pangkat 3. Persamaan regresi polinomial pangkat 3 menghasilkan persamaan terbaik. Persamaan polinomian pangkat 3 yang didapat adalah sebagai berikut y = -1.10-6x3 + 0,0003x2 – 0,0218x + 0,6159 dengan  koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,9645 atau dapat pula diartikan 96,45% variasi dari variabel terikat dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas. Nilai error yang dimiliki persamaan tersebut adalah 8,17%. Rats pest is one of the any pests that can harm the farmers. Pest rodent attacks can decrease yields even affect to crop failures. The percentage of rice fields attack will affect the productivity inversed. The bigger percentage of rodent pests, will make the lower rice fields productivity. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between percentage of pest roddents attacks with rice field productivity. Stages that must be passed in this research, among others, data retrieval, image processing analysis, regression analysis, validation and ending with the calculation of accuracy. Field data taking includes the acquisition of aerial photography and measurement of the harvest. Analysis of image processing using Adobe Photoshop CS6 software support and Matlab 2013 software. Regression analysis using Microsoft Excel 2013 software assistance using three types of regression analysis, among others: linear regression, quadratic regression, rank polynomial regression 3. Polynomial regression equation of rank 3 yields the best equation. The polynomial equation of rank 3 obtained as follows y = -1.10-6x3 + 0.0003x2 - 0,0218x + 0,6159 with a coefficient of determination equal to 0,9645 or can also be interpreted 96,45% variation of dependent variable can be explained by the free variable . The error value of the equation is 8.17% percentage of attack productivity.

Abstract

Pemberian gelombang suara dengan frekuensi tinggi dapat merangsang mulut daun  (stomata) tetap terbuka, akibatnya laju dan efisiensi penyerapan pupuk meningkat yang bermanfaat bagi tanaman. Hasil penggunaan sonic bloom pada tanaman adalah mampu menstimulir metabolisme sel-sel tanaman, sehingga terjadi peningkatan penyerapan nutrisi dan uap air lewat daun yang berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian musik Gamelan Bali terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman sawi pakcoy dan (2) untuk menentukan jenis musik Gamelan Bali yang memberikan pertumbuhan dan produktivitas sawi pakcoy yang terbaik. Penelitan ini menggunakan tanaman sawi pakcoy (Brassica Rafa L.).  Perlakuan yang diberikan  dalam penelitian adalah pemberian musik gamelan bali dengan nuansa musik yang berbeda. Perlakuan 1 menggunakan musik gamelan Angklung, Perlakuan 2 menggunakan musik gamelan Semarpagulingan dan Perlakuan 3 menggunakan musik gamelan Gong Kebyar. Data yang diperoleh dianalis ANOVA dengan program IBM SPSS 20. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, luas kanopi daun tanaman, tingkat kehijauan daun tanaman, dan berat kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian musik gong kebyar menghasilkan nilai tertinggi pada variabel tinggi tanaman, luas kanopi daun, tingkat kehijauan daun, dan berat kering yang  masing menghasilkan nilai yaitu yaitu 29,98 cm, 1684 cm2, 186,79, dan 68,61 gr. Pemberian musik memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan berbeda nyata pada pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pakcoy. Semakin tinggi frekuensi musik yang diberikan maka semakin baik pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pakcoy yang dihasilkan.  High frequency sound waves can stimulate the mouth of leaf (stomata) remains opened.The stomata remains open leading to efficient absorption of fertilizer. The purposes of this research were (1) to find out the effect of Balinese instrument music on the growth and productivity of pakcoy mustard plant and (2) to determine the type of Balinese instrument music that gives the best growth and productivity of mustard pakcoy. The treatment of this research was the application of Balinese instrument music with different musical nuances for 3 hours. Treatment 1 was using Angklung instruments music, treatment 2 was using Semarpagulingan instrument music and treatment 3 using Gong Kebyar instrument music. The obtained data was analized by ANOVA with the IBM SPSS 20 program. The observed variables include plant height, canopy area of plant leaf, green leaves level and dry weight. The results showed that Gong Kebyar instrument music application produces the highest value of 29.98 on the height of the plant variables, the widest value of 1684 cm2  on the canopy area variables, the biggest value that is 68,61 gr on the dry weight variables and the largest value of 186.79 on the green leaves level variables. Balinese instrument music application effect to the growth of pakcoy mustard plant. The best plant growth was the plant with gong kebyar instrument music application from all observed variables.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of the combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and LED light on the growth and productivity of pakcoy mustard and (2) determine the combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and LED light that provides the best growth and productivity in pakcoy mustard plants. This study used pakcoy mustard plants which are given a treatment of the combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and different LED light. The first treatment used a combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and white LED light, treatment 2 used a combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and red blue LED light, and treatment 3 used a combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and blue red and white LED light. The data obtained were analyzed using one way anova test and followed by Duncan test with a confidence level of 95%. The variables observed were plant height, canopy area, leaf greenness, root length, wet weight and dry weight of plant shoots and roots. The results showed that giving a combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and LED light had a significant effect on the growth and productivity of pakcoy mustard. The combination of gong kebyar gamelan music and red blue LED light gave the best growth and productivity, with plant height, canopy area, leaf greenery, root length, shoot wet weight, root wet weight, shoot dry weight and root dry weight, respectively also included 27,176 cm, 1457.59cm2, 160.03, 23.6cm, 91.68g, 4.63g, 5.26g, 4.63g and 0.42g.

Abstract

Bamboo tabah shoots is a product with high level of water which is 91% and easily damaged after harvested, so the advanced handling was need to keep the quality and storage period. One method is by drying. The purpose of this research is to study the effects of temperature the drying characteristics of bamboo tabah shoots. According from this research, bamboo tabah shoots was dry by oven and used 5 points of temperatures as the way of treatment. This research was using data from weighing the mass of material within drying process to obtain decreasing of moisture content and drying rate in bamboo tabah shoots. The temperature of drying that used in this research were 50?C, 55?C, 60?C, 65?C, and 70?C. From this research known that the drying temperatures have the effects to the result of the drying characteristics, but have no effect to the physical characteristics of drying bamboo tabah shoots. The lowest drying rate that found from the objects that was dried using 50?C is 31,82%db/hour which was dried for 32 hour with the final water level 9,38%wb and the highest dried rate found from the object that was dried using 70?C is 72,04%db/hour which was dried for 18 hour with the final water level 9,74%wb.
