Abstract

ABSTRAKKasus HIV/AIDS pada ibu rumah tangga semakin meningkat dan di Kecamatan Sleman telah terdapat kasus kematian ibu rumah tangga. Tes HIV/AIDS menjadi pintu gerbang program penanganan dan pencegahan HIV/AIDS, namun belum ada kunjungan masyarakat untuk VCT di Puskesmas Sleman. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sikap ibu rumah tangga terhadap tes HIV/AIDS di Sleman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan triangulasi dengan indepth interview. Informan berjumlah 48 orang yang terbagi dalam 8 kelompok FGD dan informan sekunder 2 orang untuk triangulasi. Analisis data dengan content analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa seluruh kelompok ibu rumah tangga mendukung tes HIV/AIDS. Kelompok ibu rumah tangga dengan suami bukan kelompok rentan tertular HIV menganggap ibu rumah tangga tidak mungkin tertular HIV dan laki-lakilah yang harus tes HIV. Hanya kelompok ibu rumah tangga yang berdomisili di desa peduli HIV/AIDS yang tahu tentang definisi, penyebab, penularan, pengobatan, perawatan HIV/AIDS dan tes HIV/AIDS. Sikap seluruh kelompok ibu rumah tangga terhadap tes HIV/AIDS dipengaruhi oleh sikap suami terhadap tes HIV/AIDS.Kata kunci : sikap, ibu rumah tangga, tes HIV/AIDSABSTRACTAttitudes Towards Testing For HIV/AIDS Among Housewife In Sleman Yogyakarta; Casesof HIV/AIDS on housewives is increasing and in Sleman district there have been cases of death of a housewife. HIV/AIDS testing is the gateway program management and prevention of HIV/AIDS, but no visits to the health center VCT in Sleman. Study was to determine the attitude of the housewife to test HIV/AIDS in Sleman. This research is a qualitative research Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and triangulation with indepth interview. Informants totaling 48 people, divided into 8 groups of FGD and 2 people for triangulation. Data analysis with content analysis. The results of this study illustrate that the entire group of housewives support HIV/AIDS test. The group housewife with a husband instead of contracting HIV vulnerable groups considered unlikely housewives infected with HIV and men who have an HIV test. Only the group of housewives who live in the village of care HIV/AIDS who knows about the definition, causes, transmission, treatment HIV/AIDS and HIV/AIDS testing. The attitude of the whole group of housewives to test for HIV/AIDS affected by the husband’s attitude towards HIV/AIDS test.Keywords: Attitudes, housewife, testing for HIV / AIDS

Prevention of Cervical Cancer among Mother in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Abstract

Cervical cancer was one of the global commitments in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Cervical cancer represents 7.5% of all deaths caused by cancer in women. The method to screening cervical cancer is pap smear test and Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (VIA) test.  Indonesia is the second country in the world has the most cervical cancer cases. This study aims to determine the behavior of cervical cancer prevention on housewives. This is kuantitatif research with cross sectional design. The subjects of this study were housewives in the Kota Yogyakarta and Sleman regency amounting to 350 people. The analysis used is univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results showed that there were 45.1% of mothers' have did the implementation of VIA. There is a relationship of education (p = 0.024), level of knowledge (p = 0.036), and maternal attitudes with cervical cancer prevention behavior. There were no correlation between age (p = 0), parity (p = 0.816), and family income (p = 0.174) with the mother's behavior in the implementation of theVIA’s test. Multivariate analysis showed maternal attitude (CI = 0.335-0.788) that affect the behavior of the VIA.

Abstract

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) dan Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) merupakan salah satu sorotan dalam pencapaian target Millenium Development Goals (MDGs). Ibu hamil dengan HIV akan berisiko menularkan kepada bayinya. Tes HIV merupakan gerbang pembuka status HIV yang sangat penting dilakukan pada ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan determinan perilaku tes HIV pada ibu hamil yaitu tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pengetahuan, persepsi kerentanan diri tertular HIV, sikap, Provider-Initiated Testing and Counselling (PITC) dan ketersediaan sumber informasi (keluarga dan kader kesehatan). Jenis penelitian adalah potong lintang dengan metode survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Mantrijeron dan Puskesmas Sleman yang telah memiliki sarana pemeriksaan tes HIV dan telah menjalankan program Pencegahan Penularan dari Ibu ke Anak (PPIA). Subjek penelitian adalah ibu hamil yang berkunjung ke puskesmas tersebut pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2014 yang berjumlah 54 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan tingkat pendidikan, tingkatpengetahuan tentang HIV dan AIDS, persepsi kerentanan diri dan sikap ibu. Ada hubungan antara PITC, ketersediaan sumber informasi tentang HIV dan AIDS dari keluarga dan kader kesehatan dengan perilaku tes HIV pada ibu hamil. PITC merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap perilaku tes HIV pada ibu hamil.Determinant of HIV Testing Behavior among Pregnant WomenHuman immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) is one of highlighted issues in accomplishing Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) target. Pregnant women with HIV will transmit the virus to their babies. HIV testing is such an opening gate of HIV status that is very important to be conducted on pregnant women. This study aimed to determine the determinant of HIV testing behaviour among pregnant women including education level, knowledge level, perception of selfvulnerability to be HIV-infected, attitudes, Provider-Initiated Testing and Counseling (PITC) and availability of information (family and health workers). This study was cross sectional using a survey method. This study was conducted in Mantrijeron and Sleman Primary Health Care that had HIV testing facilities and executed prevention of mother to child transmission program. The subjects of this study were pregnant women visiting such primary health care on August up to October 2014, as much as 54 people. Data collecting used questionnaire. Analysed used were univariate, biviariate, and multivariate. The results showed no relation between educational level, knowledge level about HIV and AIDS, perception of self-vulnerability and attitudes of women.There was a relation between PITC, information source availability about HIV and AIDS from the family and health workers with HIV testing behaviour among pregnant women. PITC is the most influencing variable toward HIV testing behaviour among pregnant women.

Behavior of visual inspection with acetate acid (VIA) test on women

Abstract

Every year according to WHO (World Health Organization), 490.000 women in the world are diagnosed with cervical cancer. The incidence of cervical cancer can be prevented by early detection, one of which is by VIA test. However, coverage of VIA in Central Bangka in Koba District is still very low. ie 3.25%. Knowing the factors that most influence the behavior of VIA test. This research uses an analytical survey method with a cross-sectional approach. Population in this research is women of reproductive age who are married as many as 64 respondents. Data analysis techniques use chi-square, Fisher exact test, and logistic regression. The behavior of VIA test is still low (23,4%). The result of bivariate analysis of the degree of confidence (CI) 95% obtained the significant relationship between, education (p-value =0,003), knowledge (p-value =0,000), access information (p-value =0,001), and support of community health worker s (p-value =0.001) with VIA test behavior. While age (p-value =0,637), parity (p-value =0,220), and husband / family support (p-value = 0,353. The most influential factor on VIA test behavior is community health worker support (PR =11.6 with 95% CI value (1,621-83,026)). The result of the logistic regression test obtained that together probability mother to do an examination of VIA if have higher education, got community health worker support, and supportive attitude is 22,05%. Majority of respondents are high risk aged, low education, low-risk parity, lack of knowledge, support,  and access to information, get support from their husbands/families and get support from community health worker s. There is a significant relationship between education, knowledge, attitudes, access to information, and community health worker support for VIA test behavior. The most influential factor in the behavior of VIA test is the support of community health workers.

Abstract

Adolescence was a period of transition from childhood to adulthood and developmental changes, whether physical, mental, or socialrole. Premarital sex behavior was a serious problem that was the most important risk factor for the incidence of disability and death.Dating was a close relationship between men and women who were at risk of physical contact and even end up with premarital sex.This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge level on adolescent reproductive health and adolescent attitudes about datingto dating behavior among high school students. This research was correlational analytic research using survey method. Theapproach used was cross sectional. The research was conducted in six senior high school in Yogyakarta which was chosen byrandom number of 370 respondents. Data collection tool using questionnaire. The results of this study showed that 68.1% ofrespondents are female, 58.6% of respondents have a good level of knowledge, 38.4% of respondents have a disagreement attitudeof dating, 18.9% was dating and 55.7% dating without physical contact. Bivariate analysis showed that knowledge level (p=0.14) andattitude (p=0.000) were related to dating behavior. Multivariate analysis showed attitude toward dating effect on dating behavior(p=0.10, OR=2.9). It is very necessary to provide mentoring to the teenagers either in the form of information or mentoring so thatteens can have a positive attitude to avoid dating.

Family Support as a Factor Influencing the Provision of Exclusive Breastfeeding among Adolescent Mothers in Bantul, Yogyakarta

Abstract

The number of adolescent pregnancies in Indonesia is still very high. Sewon Subdistrict had the highest number of adolescent deliveries in Bantul District in 2015-2016. This study aimed to determine factors influencing exclusive breastfeeding among adolescent mothers in Sewon Subdistrict, Bantul District. This study used cross-sectional study design and a sample size of 45 that were adolescent mothers of 6-24-month-old infants. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis involved bivariate analysis using chi-square test and fisher’s exact test, while multivariate analysis used logistic regression.Results showed that 53.3% of adolescent mothers did not practice exclusive breastfeeding. Bivariate analysis showed that pregnancy status (p value = 0.029), perception of childbirth experience (p value = 0.045), perception of breastfeeding (p value = 0.005), husband support (p value = 0.009) and family support (p value = 0.000) were correlated to exclusive breasfeeding. Multivariate analysis showed that perception of breastfeeding (p value = 0.015; OR = 9.746) and family support (p value = 0.014; OR = 7.637) as the most influential factors to exclusive breastfeeding among adolescent mothers with a probability of 72.7%.There is low practice of exclusive breastfeeding among adolescent mothers in Bantul, Yogyakarta and family support is the most dominant factors influencing exclusive breastfeeding.AbstrakKehamilan remaja di Indonesia cukup tinggi. Kecamatan Sewon memiliki angka persalinan remaja tertinggi di Kabupaten Bantul pada tahun 2015-2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu usia remaja di Kecamatan Sewon, Kabupaten Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 orang ibu usia remaja yang mempunyai bayi usia 6-24 bulan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Analisis bivariat menggunakan kai kuadrat dan fisher’s exact test, sedangkan analisis multivariat menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 53.3% ibu usia remaja tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan faktorstatus kehamilan (nilai p = 0.029), persepsi pengalaman melahirkan (nilai p= 0.045), persepsi menyusui (nilai p= 0.005), dukungan suami (nilai p= 0.009), dukungan keluarga (nilai p = 0,000) berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan persepsi menyusui (nilai p = 0.015; RP = 9.746) dan faktor dukungan keluarga (nilai p = 0,014; RP = 7,637) sebagai faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan probabilitas sebesar 72.7%. Masih rendahnya pemberian ASI ekslusif pada ibu remaja di Bantul, Yogyakarta, dan dukungan keluarga merupakan faktor paling dominan yang memengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu usia remaja.

Abstract

The problem of women's reproductive health is the increased infection of reproductive organs, causing cancer, including cervicalcancer, the second leading cause of death in women. Midwives are health workers and exemplary for the community as well aswomen who are susceptible to cervical cancer. A preliminary study of 10 midwives found 8 people not doing papsmear because ofshame and fear if the results were positive. The aim of this research is to know the factors that influence the behavior of the midwife toperform papsmear examination. This research is an analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. The number of samplesof 79 health center midwives Bantul regency recorded in the Health Profile of Bantul Regency on 2016. Data collection techniquesusing questionnaires. Data analysis using SPSS 16.0 Program with descriptive frequencies test on univariate analysis and chisquare test on Bivariate analysis. The result of univariate test showed that midwife attitude was dominated by negative responses(50.6%), low category to belief toward midwife support (63.3%), midwives belief to leadership support (57.0%), midwives belief topeer support (50.6%) in support of midwife Do a papsmear check. Behavior of midwife performing papsmear is dominated byirregular pattern (58.2%). The result of bivariate test showed that there was a correlation between midwife's attitude (0.030),midwife's belief in husband support (0.025), midwives belief on leadership support (0.001), and midwives belief in peer support(0.000) on midwife behavior to perform papsmear.

Adolescents' Attitude toward HIV/AIDS Prevention in Yogyakarta

Abstract

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is the second leading cause of death in adolescent groups in the world. In Indonesia, the rate of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected adolescents increases annually. Yogyakarta, well-known as the education city, has the highest number of HIV/AIDS cases in the productive age group of 20–29 years old, which means that they have been already infected with HIV since teen age. This study aimed to determine influential factors that affect adolescents' attitude toward HIV/AIDS prevention. The study was an analytic survey research with a cross-sectional design. Stratified random sampling was applied to select a sample size of 128 respondents of class XI at Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Senior High School in 2017. Data were taken by using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed by chi-square test and logistic regression. Theresults revealed that most of the respondents received information on HIV/AIDS from media (47.7%), have a good knowledge level (82%), and support the prevention of HIV/AIDS (96.9%). The source of information and knowledge level had a statistically significant relation with adolescents' attitude toward HIV/AIDS prevention. Knowledge level is the most influential factor to adolescents' attitude toward HIV/AIDS prevention (p value = 0.006, PR = 1.199; 95% confidence interval = 1052–1367).

Abstract

AbstrakPengembangan pariwisata pantai pasir putih Desa Remen baru berjalan 3 tahun, tetapi jumlah pengunjungnya meningkat tiap tahunnya, sehingga penulis tertarik untuk meneliti dan mengetahui ada tidaknya dampak positif atau negatif dari pengembangan Pantai Pasir Putih Remen terhadap masyarakat yang ada di Desa Remen Kecamatan Jenu Kabupaten Tuban. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan pariwisata Pantai Pair Putih Remen, untuk mengetahui dampak dari pengembangan Pariwisata Pantai Pasir Putih Remen terhadap perilaku masyarakat, perubahan pekerjaan, pendapatan, dan pengeluaran di Dusun Remen Desa Remen Kecamatan Jenu Kabupaten Tuban.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitin survey dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Cara pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel acak secara sistematis (systematic random sampling) dengan sampel 92 responden. Populasi penelitian ini masyarakat sekitar pantai pasir putih Desa Remen dengan jumlah 1.022 Kepala Keluarga. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara terstruktur menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan persentase, mean dan skala Likert.Pengembangan pariwisata pantai pasir putih Remen menimbulkan dampak sosial dan ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar, tetapi tidak berdampak di semua aspek. Analisis data menggunakan skala Likert menunjukan bahwa pengembangan berdampak positif pada perilaku masyarakat karena perilaku baik masyarakat meningkat sesudah pengembangan pariwisata Pantai Pasir Putih Remen. Analisis menggunakan presentase menunjukan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata Pantai Pasir Putih Remen berdampak positif terhadap pekerjaan karena sebelum pengembangan sebagian besar masyarakat bekerja di luar pariwisata, sedangkan setelah pengembangan sebagian besar masyarakat bekerja di sektor pariwisata. Analisis menggunakan mean menunjukan bahwa pengembangan berdampak negatif terhadap pendapatan karena pendapatan rata-rata masyarakat sekitar jika dikonservasi dengan harga beras menjadi menurun dari sebelum dan sesudah pengembangan pariwisata Pantai Pasir Putih Remen. Pengembangan berdampak negatif terhadap pengeluaran masyarakat karena pengeluaran rata-rata masyarakat sekitar meningkat dari sebelum dan sesudah pengembangan pariwisata Pantai Pasir Putih RemenKata kunci : pengembangan pariwisata, dampak sosial, dampak ekonomi

Abstract

Latar belakang: Menurut Penelitian UNFPA dan BKKBN di Yogyakarta tahun 1999, ditemukan bahwa responden wanita berusia 57 tahun dari latar belakang yang berbeda menyatakan, sudah tidak mau lagi melayani kebutuhan biologis suaminya, dan secara sukarela memperbolehkan suaminya untuk berselingkuh.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas seksual lansia di Dusun Saragan, Pandowoharjo, Sleman.Metodologi: Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian di Dusun Saragan, Pandowoharjo, Sleman. Waktu penelitian bulan Mei s.d. Juni 2014. Subyek penelitian adalah lansia yang berusia lebih dari 60 tahun. Informan dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 7 orang, 4 orang lansia perempuan dan 3 lansia laki-laki. Peneliti meneliti perilaku, sikap, norma subjektif dan niat lansia tentang aktivitas seksual. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam.Hasil: Didapatkan hasil bahwa seluruh informan perempuan masih melakukan aktifitas ciuman, berpelukan, dan hubungan seks dengan pasangannya. Sedangkan seluruh informan laki-laki menyatakan sudah tidak melakukan aktifitas seksual apapun. Separuh informan perempuan memiliki sikap positif terhadap aktivitas seksual sedangkan seluruh informan laki-laki memiliki sikap negatif terhadap aktivitas seksual. Informan menyatakan tentang aktivitas seksual mereka dipengaruhi oleh peran pasangan, peran keluarga, mitos tentang timbulnya tumor pada lansia, dan penyuluhan. Seluruh informan perempuan memiliki niat untuk melakukan aktivitas seksual sedangkan seluruh informan laki-laki tidak memiliki niat untuk melakukan aktivitas seksual.Simpulan: Seluruh informan perempuan masih melakukan aktivitas seksual seperti berciuman, berpelukan, danhubungan seks,sedangkan informan laki-laki sudah tidak melakukan aktivitas seksual apapun.ABSTRACTBackground: According to UNFPA research and BKKBN in Yogyakarta in 1999, it discovered that woman respon- dent in the range of age 59 years old with different background, said that they won’t make sex with their husband and let them to have affair.Objective: This research was taken to describe the sexual activity for the overage in Saragan, Pandowoharjo, Sle- man.Methode: It used qualitative method with the kind of research was descriptive research. It took place in Saragan, Pandowoharjo Sleman on May until June 2014. The research subject was the old people of the range of age was up to 60 years old. The informan in this research are 7 old people, 4 women and 3 men. The researcher took research based on behavior, attitude, subjevtive norm and the intention of the old people about sexual activity. The data was collected by using in-depth interview.Result: The result of the research showed that the woman respondent were still doing kiss, hug, and have sex. And all the man respondent hadn’t done sex anymore. Half of the woman respondents had positive attitude about sexual activity but all of the man respondents have negative attitude to activity sexual. All of the respondent point of view were influenced by their couple, family, myth about the tumors, and workshop. All of women respondent had the intention of making sex and the man respondent hadn’t it.Conclusion: All the woman respondents were still doing kiss, hug, and have sex. And the man respondent hadn’t done sexual activity anymore.
