Online Battery Parameter And Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) Estimation Using Recursive Least Square (RLS)

Abstract

After decades, the battery usage has been widespread for many applications, especially in the field of Electric Vehicle (EV). The battery is a very important component in the EV. Because the battery as the primary power source replacement of the fossil fuel. Therefore, the condition of the batteries should be always in good condition. To prevent failure of the battery for battery management system (BMS) is needed. BMS is a system to regulate the use of the battery and protects the battery from the failure of the battery supply. Many factors can be monitored at BMS, one of which is a State of Charge (SOC). SOC determination is directly related to the estimated OCV (Open Circuit Voltage). The accuracy of the estimation algorithms depend on the accuracy of the model selection to describe the dynamic characteristics of the battery. This study begins with the selection of the right model (fig.1, fig.2, fig.3) for estimating OCV. Selection of appropriate model using RLS algorithm for estimate the battery terminal voltage. Parameter that reference for determining the selection of the model is the max, min, mean, RMSE, mean RMSE of the error. Later models have been used to estimate the OCV. The result based on this research shows that modeling with n = 1 is the best result to be used in model parameter estimation and OCV battery in term of the smaller max, min, mean, rmse error. This research also show us that RLS algorithm can be estimate the parameters of the batery, OCV (fig.4), and terminal voltage of the battery with an error less than 0.1%

QuEChERS Method for the Determination of Pesticide Residues in Indonesian Green Coffee Beans using Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry

Abstract

A method using QuEChERS sample preparation followed by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESIMS/MS) was developed for quantitative determination of 14 pesticide residues in Indonesian green coffee beans. The European Standard Method EN 15662:2008 was modified to obtain an appropriate extraction and clean-up procedure for green coffee bean samples. Homogenous slurry samples were extracted with 1% acetic acid in acetonitrile and the extracts were cleaned up by a high pigment dispersive SPE. LC-ESI-MS/MS was operated in the MRM mode for two specific precursor-product ion transitions per target compound to obtain 4 identification points. Representative matrix-matched calibration curves were applied to compensate matrix effects. This method was validated according to the requirements of SANCO/12495/2011. Limits of detection (LODs) and limits of quantification (LOQs) were obtained in the ranges of 0.2-2.9 μg kg-1 and 0.8-9.7 μg kg-1 respectively, showing lower values than the maximum residu limits (MRLs) set by importing countries. The method was applied to determine 14 pesticide residues in 181 Indonesian green coffee bean samples that were taken from different regions. Some pesticide residues were found in these samples and detected to be higher than the MRLs.

Abstract

Globalisasi telah menerpa berbagai belahan bumi dan tidak satupun Negara yang dapat menghindarinya. Pemicunya adalah kemajuan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Bagi masyarakat Indonesia proses globalisasi ini bisa berdampak positif dan negative. Dan yang amat penting untuk diwaspadai adalah dampaknya di bidang social budaya. Pecahnya bangsa-bangsa menjadi kelompok-kelompok etnis karena dorongan kepentingan ekonomi global, merupakan ancaman yang fatal bagi kelangsungan hidup bangsa-bangsa di dunia termasuk Indonesia. Oleh karena itu menurut penulis, kita harus menerapkan kebijaksanaan dan strategi yang pada prinsipnya mengarah pada upaya-upaya memperkokoh ketahanan social budaya bangsa.

After we consume jackfruit, well leave the trash in the form of jackfruit seed, which has not been used by the community to the fullest. The purpose of this study are trying to explore another potential of jackfruit seeds and increasing the protein content of jackfruit seeds by processing  in to tempeh. Another purpose is knowing the number yeast of doses that can produce in tempeh of jackfruit seeds. This research uses 4 treatments (A: 0.25 grams yeast/50 grams jackfruit seed, B: 0.50 grams yeast/50 grams jackfruit seeds, C: 0.75 gram yeast/50 grams jackfruit seeds, and D: 1 grams yeast/50 grams of jackfruit seeds) with 4 repetitions. Test protein content tests conducted at the Laboratory of Food Technology and Agricultural Faculty of Agricultural Technology, GadjahMada University (UGM). Treatment A produced protein average of 2,64%, B produced protein average of 3,429%, treatment C produced protein average of 4,146% and treatment D produced protein average of 5,635% protein. The highest protein content is produced by treatment D.Keywords: Takaran   ragi, tempe  biji  nangka (Artocarpusheterophyllus),kandungan protein.

Abstract

Lake Aur has many aquatic biota as well as become one of the mainstay attractions in Musi Rawas Regency. Community activities and lack of awareness of tourists on the cleanliness and importance of maintaining the lake environment have an impact on water pollution. One of the organisms that can be used as an indicator of river water quality is microalgae. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of microalgae Bacillariophyta divisions that exist in the lake Aur, Musi Rawas.The type of research used is survey research. Bacillariophyta Division consists of two classes, 6 orders, 7 families, 8 genera and 11 species. Observed environmental factors: temperature: 290C, pH: 6.7, Brightness: 115 cm and dissolved oxygen amount of: 38 mg / L. Based on the results of research and discussion, we can conclude that: the type of microalgae division bacillariophyta were found in Lake Aur namely: Cylotella sp, Eunotia sp, Eunotia pectinalis, Fragilaria croronensis, Synedra acus, Nitzschia sp, Nitzschia acicularis, Surirella sp, Surirella elegans, Pinnularia sp and Stauroneis sp.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the types of microalgae that exist in Watervang Waterfall Lubuklinggau City. This research was conducted in June-July 2016 in area Watervang Waterfall of Lubuklinggau City. Sampling is done in the morning, done on two stations with three repetitions. The study is explorative descriptive: exploring the microalgae and identifying it. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The types of microalgae found in waters of Watervang Waterfall of Lubuklinggau city consist of 3 Divisions, 6 classes of 14 genus and 15 species. The microalgae of the Bacillariophyceae class consists of 3 types: Synedra ulna, Rhizosolenia sp, Navicula sp. Chlorophyceae class consists of 7 types namely: Gonatozygon sp, Scenedesmus sp, Pediastrum duplex, Pediastrum singulex, Mougeotia sp, Selenastrum sp, Closteridium sp. Trebouxiophyceae class consists of 1 type, namely: Chlorella sp. Ulvophyceae class consists of 1 type: Ulothrix sp. Class Zygnemophyceae consists of 1 type: Pleurotaenium sp. Class Cyanophyceae consists of 2 types: Synechococcus sp and Oscillatoria sp. Kata kunci: Eksplorasi, Mikroalga, Air Terjun Watervang.

Abstract

The Mesat River is one of the rivers that cross the City of Lubuklinggau. Community activities around the river Mesat less maintain the river can disrupt the river ecosystem Mesat itself. The purpose of this study is to explore the microalgae in the Mesat River Lubuklinggau City. This research uses survey method, carried out on three stations with three repetitions in the waters of the Mesat River Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Timur II Lubuklinggau Town and identified in the Biology Laboratory STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results of the study found microalgae in the Mesat River of Lubuklinggau City consisting of 4 Divisions, 6 Classes, 15 Orders, 19 Famili, 27 Genus and 32 Species. Mesi Abiotik Factor Measurement Results: mean temperature value 250C, average PH value 7.2, average brightness value 18.2 cm and Average Dissolved Oxygen Value 4.64 mg/L. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the type of microalgae found in the Mesat River consists of: Ankistrodesmus sp, Micrasterias radiata, Coelastrum sp, Zygnema sp, Chroococus sp, Xanthidium sp, Dictyosphaerium sp, Chlamydomonas sp, Carteria sp, Lyngbya sp, Rhizoclonium hieroglyphicum, Cylotella sp, Surirella elegans, Spyrogira sp, Eunothia sp, Gonatozygon sp Chlorella sp, Oscillatoria limosa, Oscillatoria sp, Tabellaria sp, Pediastrum singulex, Pediastrum duplex, Closterium sp, Cosmarium sp, Mougeotia sp, Phacus triqueter, Phacus lomgicauda, Euglena viridis, Euglena mutabilis, Scenedesmus sp, Scenedesmus acuminatus, and Scenedesmus opaliensis.
