Sebagai  Agensia Pengendali Hayati Penyakit Antraknosa pada CabaiDian IndratmiStaf Pengajar Jurusan Agronomi, Fakultas Pertanian dan PeternakanUniversitas Muhammadiyah Malang e-mail: indratmi_dian@yahoo.co.idABSTRACTThe aimed of this research to find out a low cost media culture formulation for yeast fructoplant Rhodotorula  sp. biomass production for their application on field to suppressed anthracnose disease on pepper.The  laboratory  experiment  with  Complete  Randomized  Design  and  3 replication. There were 10 treatment, it’s M1 (rain tree pod extract + potato extract); M2 (rain tree pod extract + chilli extract ); M3 (corn meal+ chilli extract); M4 (sugar potato extract); M5 (sugar chilli extract); M6 (potato  dextrose broth); M7 (corn solid media); M8 (100% chilli extract); M9 (sugar corn meal); dan M10 (100% rain tree pod extract) Results of the experiment indicated from 10 of the yeast media culture test   100%Chilli extract medium and rain tree pod extract + potato extract medium resulted better spore weight and cell density of  Rhodotorula sp. yeast. Its shown with spore weight  0.4833 g/ 10 ml to 100% chilli extract  and cell density 59.67 x 103  cell/ ml. At rain tree pod extract + potato extract medium, spore weight  0.4845 g / 10 ml with cell density 70.67x103  cell/ml. Production Rhodotorula sp. yeasy cell on solid medium can used corn medium.Key word : Colletrotichum gloeosporioides, Rhodotorula sp. , Biocontrol

Abstract

Result of research Dian Indratmi previously (2000, 2001, and 2002) indicated among antagonisfungi that shown potential inhibition Colletotrichum gloeosporioides better were fructoplant yeastinoculan especially Debaryomyces sp. For evaluation of efficacy yeast Debaryomyces sp.as apotential biokontrol agent of chilli anthracnose or to develop this agent as biopesticide, it is importantto have available culture media that maximize production at low cost.The aimed of this research to find out a low cost media culture formulation for yeast fructoplantbiomass production for their application on field to suppressed anthracnose disease on pepper.The laboratory experiment with Complete Randomized Design and 6 replication. There were11 treatment, it’s A = malt extract liquid media; B = malt extract liquid media + pepper extract; C= corn meal liquid media; D = corn meal liquid media + pepper extract; E = sugar potato extractliquid media; F = Alioshina liquid media; G = sugar mixture of rice and bran liquid media; H =sugar pepper extract liquid media; I = maize solid media; J = waste water rice media; K = ipomoealiquid media.Results of the experiment indicated 11 of the yeast media culture test can as a substrate foryeast biomass production. Yeast Debaryomyces sp that cultured on the substrate corn meal liquidmedia that added with or without pepper extract resulted better weight and quantity cell of yeastDebaryomyces sp. The yeast for their growing needed a rather acid substrate, it’s about pH 4.79-6.07.

Abstract

The aimed of this research to find out the effectifity some adjuvant to enhance Debaryomycessp. and Schizosaccharomyces sp. actifity as agens biocontrols against anthracnose pathogen C.gloeosporioides on mango.The laboratory experiment included testing adjuvant conferral for enhance anthracnose diseaseobstruction on mango. The experiment with Complete Randomized Design and 3 replication. Therewere 13 treatment,it’s A1 = control (only pathogen); A2 = yeast Debaryomyces sp. ; A3 = yeastSchizosaccharomyces sp.; A4 = yeast Debaryomyces sp.+ Schizosaccharomyces sp.(mixture); A5 =Debaryomyces sp. + Tween 1 %; A6 = Schizosaccharomyces sp. + Tween 1 %; A7 = mixture yeast+ Tween 1 %; A8 = Debaryomyces sp. + CaCl2 2%; A9 = Schizosaccharomyces sp. + CaCl2 2%;A10 = mixture yeast + CaCl2 2%; A11 = Debaryomyces sp. + Trehalose 2%; A12 =Schizosaccharomyces sp. + Trehalose 2%; A13 = mixture yeast + Trehalose 2%.Results of the experiment indicated Debaryomyces sp. and Schizosaccharomyces sp. yeast insingle or mixtures with or without adjuvant to be able to grow on mango fruit surface, and effectiveinhibited development of the anthracnose disease caused of C. gloeosporioide on mango fruit thatshown with significantly reduced lesion size and incubation periods 4 days longer.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakuan di Desa Kemiri Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat profil atapun latar belakang dari peternakan di Desa Kemiri dalam peningkatan usaha Peternakan. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peternak yang ada didesa Kemiri dengan metode survey. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha peternakan sapi perah masih dapat menarik minat masyarakat, upaya peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi susu masih perlu dibantu dalam hal sarana dan prasarana, yang diikuti dengan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran untuk memperbaiki manajemen pengelolaan usaha, pemasaran susu yang dilakukan oleh koperasi, masih memerlukan bantuan proteksi dari pemerintah untuk meningkatkan mutu Desa dalam produksi peternakan susu sapi perah. Kata kunci : peternakan; kemiri; jabung; sapi ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Kemiri Village, Jabung District, Malang Regency. This study aims to look at the profile and background of the farm in Kemiri Village in improving the Livestock business. Respondents used in this study were farmers in Kemiri village with survey methods. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the dairy farming business can still attract public interest, efforts to increase the quantity and quality of milk production still need to be assisted in terms of facilities and infrastructure, which is followed by an increase in understanding and awareness to improve business management, milk marketing carried out by cooperative, still need protection assistance from the government to improve the quality of the Village in the production of dairy cattle dairy farms.

Abstract

The Subur Selaras Alam farmer group is a group of vegetable farmers with an average land area of around 0.25 Ha. This farmer group has concerns over the decreasing land conditions due to excessive pesticide residue contamination and excessive chemical fertilization. In an effort to increase soil fertility and the quality of vegetables that are safer and healthier for consumers, farmer groups face several problems regarding biofertilizer technology. Among them are (1) partners have not mastered the technology of production and application of biofertilizers in the field, and (2) partners have not mastered organic farming cultivation management. Methods for overcoming partner problems are carried out with Focus Group Discussion (FGD), training and assistance in the application of biofertilizer technology in the field. The results of the dissemination of technology in the field that were obtained: (1) farmer group "Subur Selaras Alam" was very enthusiastic and mastered the application of biofertilizer technology, (2) increasing corn production reached 46%, (3) biofertilizers can save N (urea) fertilizer up to 50% , and (4) farmers have mastered the making and use of biofertilizers on the land.ABSTRAK Kelompok tani Subur Selaras Alam merupakan kelompok petani sayur dengan luasan lahan rata-rata sekitar 0,25 Ha. Kelompok Tani ini mempunyai kepedulian atas kondisi lahan yang semakin menurun karena cemaran residu pestisida yang terlalu tinggi dan pemupukan kimia yang berlebihan. Dalam upaya peningkatan kesuburan tanah dan mutu sayuran yang lebih aman dan sehat bagi konsumen kelompok tani menghadapi beberapa permasalahan mengenai teknologi pupuk hayati. Diantaranya yaitu (1) mitra belum menguasai teknologi produksi dan aplikasi pupuk hayati di lapang, dan (2) mitra belum menguasai menejemen budidaya pertanian organik. Metode untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra dilakukan dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan dan pendampingan aplikasi teknologi pupuk hayati di lapang. Hasil diseminasi teknologi di lapang yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut : (1) kelompok  tani “Subur  Selaras  Alam” sangat antusias dan menguasai aplikasi teknologi pupuk hayati, (2) peningkatan  produksi jagung mencapai 46%, (3) pupuk hayati ini dapat menghemat pupuk N (urea) mencapai 50%, dan (4) petani sudah menguasai pembuatan dan penggunaan pupuk hayati di lahan.Kata kunci : pupuk hayati; pertanian organik; sayuran; pengabdian masyarakat
