Abstract

The purpose of this research is to apply gardening project method in Kindergarten. Approach to the research using qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The technique of testing the validity of data using triangulation is triangulation of sources and technical triangulation. Data analysis technique used is interactive data analysis model. The results explained that the use of gardening project method can be applied in Kindergarten.Them stages of the implementation of the gardening project include: (1) preparatory stage of preparing teaching materials, tools and materials to be used in project activities. (2) Implementation stage is done after the child understands the tasks assigned by the teacher to each group (3) The closing stage has a role as a reinforcing stage in the project activity, ie the child can present the completed project results. Another friend can give an opinion about the work presented and give rewards..

Abstract

Sub urban of madiun region is area of the border between urban and rural development which experience a lot of road construction and the settlement. This is resulted in damage to the natural habitat of various species of birds. Damage to vegetation or habitat, caused a change in the adaptability of birds that could potentially affect the abundance of birds. The purpose of the study was to determine the type and abundance of bird in the west of sub urban Madiun. The method used is the encounter rates. Results from observational studies with a total of 75 hours indicates the total number of birds species were more abundant in the morning than the afternoon. The most abundant bird is Collocalia fuciphaga with the amounts 576 and a value of abundance 76.8, There are three species that protected by laws: Alcedo meninting, Cloris todirhamphus, and Aethopyga mystacalis. Abstract

Community empowerment with callina papaya cultivation is one form of utilization ground that have high economic value. Community usually only planted cassava and vegetables for daily consumption. Callina papaya is one of the crops that have high potential to sold, long harvest time, easy and simple treatment. Land use of Setono Ngrambe with Callina papaya cultivation is a creative solution for the development of natural resources and human resources to increase the income of society. This community service program carried out over 4 months including observation, training, mentoring and evaluation. Training and socialization going well and get good responses. Community enthusiastic following the training and socialization of papaya callina cultivation. In this training, community trained by team to do organic farming using cow urine fermentation. Material in this training include the introduction of papaya Callina, potential, and methods of cultivation. Government of Setono village make the Memorandum of Understanding that contains the community willingness to lend their land for planting Callina papaya in a supervision of IKIP PGRI MADIUN. Callina papaya can be excellent products and potentially make Setono Village as suppliers Callina papaya in East Java.Keywords: callina papaya, critical land, organic farming

Abstract

Karyawan merupakan aset utama perusahaan sehingga kinerja karyawan yang produktif dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan, namun ada kalanya saat bekerja ditemukan hambatan yang membuat karyawan jenuh sehingga memiliki keinginian untuk meninggalkan pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan adversitas dan keterlibatan kerja pada karyawan PT. Gandum Mas Kencana. Keterlibatan kerja merupakan kondisi psikologis positif karyawan terhadap pekerjaannya yang ditandai dengan curahan energi dalam bekeja, perasaan terlibat yang kuat, penuh konsentrasi, serta kesulitan untuk memisahkan diri dengan pekerjaannya. Kecerdasan adversitas merupakan kemampuan individu dalam mengamati kesulitan dan mengolah kesulitan dengan kecerdasan yang dimiliki sehingga menjadi sebuah tantangan untuk menyelesaikannya. Jumlah populasi penelitian ini yaitu 134 karyawan tetap dan masa kerja minimal 1 tahun hingga 10 tahun. Pada sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 karyawan yang diperoleh melalui propotional sampling diberikan Skala Keterlibatan Kerja (31 aitem; α = 0,92) dan Skala Kecerdasan Adversitas (37 aitem; α = 0,94). Analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kecerdasan adversitas dan keterlibatan kerja pada karyawan PT. Gandum Mas Kencana (r = 0,62; p < 0,001). Semakin tinggi kecerdasan adversitas, maka semakin tinggi keterlibatan kerja. Kecerdasan adversitas memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 38% terhadap keterlibatan kerja. Ketika ingin meningkatkan keterlibatan kerja ia harus memperhatikan kecerdasan adversitas, dan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan kerja, perusahaan dapat melakukan intervensi dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan adversitas melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan karyawan.

Abstract

The Curriculum 2013 entailed the importance of developing the physical ability (PA) of early age children (EAC). In fact, the standard measurement or instrument to assess the PA of early childhood has not been formulated yet to be used in the whole country. Therefore, it is required to develop the standard instrument to measure the physical ability of children. The Center for Japanese Studies, Research and Community Services of Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia collaboratively worked with HIMPAUDI (The Association of Early Childhood Education Indonesia) of District Karanganom in Klaten Regency to develop the standard achievement of Klatens children based on the instrument of PA adopted from Japan. This program involved 21 ECE nurseries in Karanganom, and 70 instructors participated in the program. The activities were based on an action research aimed to change the mindset of related instructors on PA, connection between PA and cognitive development. It also trained the skills of instructors on measuring the PA. The program was conducted from July to September 2017. As the program ran, data of children PA was also measured, and as the entry of database developed for Karanganom. There are five indicators of PA which represent the stability, locomotive, and manipulative movements, adapted from Japanese PA measurement. The results of database showed the average measurement of children PA in Karanganom, and were compared to the Japanese peers, the achievement was lower. The instrument has to be validated and examined in the various regions and periods.

Abstract

This reserch aims to determine how the role of parents in early childhood inclusion. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach with case study. Course of a study conducted in Labschool House Citta with research subjects the role of parents Labschool House Citta. Methods of data collection using observation, wawacanra,and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Results from the study include: the role of parents guardians Labschool House Citta and parental benefits from the involvement of parents in school activities. The shape of the role of parents in Labschool House Citta, namely: (1) parenting; (2)parents accompany children in activities fied trip; (3) parents tovolunteer in the markets activities; (4) speakers in regular discussion activities; (5) parent and child to make toys from waste project; (6) the parents a guest teacher in the classroom according to the theme; and (7) parents are involved in school committees called POM (association of parents). While the perceived benefits of interaction active parents in early childhood inclusion, among others: (1) parentscan accompany and stimulate the development of the child; (2) parents will accept, acknowledge, give it a chance, and give appreciation to the achievement of an ordinary child and crew in particular; (3) parents to know the needs, interests and talents of the child; and (4) the parents respect childrens rights.

Abstract

This research is made to knowing the influence of adding amount of seagrass to amountof sand on the compressive strength and the Eco-concrete bricks’s water absorbtion. Themethods used in this research  is experiment with a sample of Eco-concrete bricks (20 x10 x 6) cm in adding 4 variation amount of seagrass . the first variation is without addingamount of seagrass (0%), second adding 5%, third adding 15%, and the fourth is adding25%. The examination compressive strength and water absorbtion is do to Eco-concretebricks 28 days age with ten times repetition and take the average number. The result ofthis examination show the number of compressive strength for each variation are 12.102MPa without adding amount of seagrass (0%), 11.011 MPa adding 5%, 7.6044 MPaadding 15%, and 5.3872 MPa adding 25%. The data for examination of water absorbtionare 12.439%  without adding amount of seagrass (0%), 13.81%  adding 5%, 15.215% adding 15%, and 16.019% adding 25%. The conclution is the more concentration adding amount of seagrass the less number of Eco-concrete bricks’s compressive strength andotherwise the less concentration adding amount of seagrass the less number of Ecoconcretebricks’swaterabsorbtionpower.Keywords : compressive strength, eco-concrete bricks, seagrass, water absorption

Abstract

This activity was carried out in Gugus Mawar, Karanganyar Regency. The service activity aims to provide training to preschool (PAUD) and kindergarten teachers of Gugus Mawar, Karanganyar  about the application of the among system (asah, asih, asuh) to instill character valuesin early childhood. The training participants consisted of 20 teachers of preschool and kindergarten in Gugus Mawar, Karangannyar. The training was carried out in three stages, namely (1) Pre-implementation, (2) Implementation, and (3) Monitoring and Evaluation. The training material were (1) material about the concept of the among system, early childhood learning, and the character valuesthat must be inculcated in early childhood; (2) learning device material that applies among systems to instill the character values of early childhood; (3) the implementation of among system in learning to instill the character values of early childhood in their respective schools. The material given during the training resulted in preschool and kindergarten teachers in Gugus Mawar, Karangannyar being able to develop learning instrument, carry out learning, and instill character valuesin early childhood by implementing the among (asah, asih, asuh) systems.

Abstract

Science processing skills (SPS) is a psychomotor ability in 2013 curriculum. The implementation of SPS can be done well in the planning or in the learning process. This research aimed to analyze X grade students’ potentials of SPS in biology in senior high school “Y”, Ponorogo regency. This research used descriptive qualitative research. The data in this research were collected from non-test way using observation and documentation. The learning process was analyzed using the instrument of SPS evaluation in eight aspects 1) formulating the hypothesis, 2) planning experiment, 3) conducting the experiment, 4) doing observation, 5) interpreting data, 6) predicting, 7) implementing the concept, and 8) communicating. These aspects have four indicators. The analyzed learning process was in the material of Bryophyte and Pteridophytes. The analysis of data was in descriptive quantitative. The results of the analysis were aspect 3) was 35.29%, aspect 4) was 23.54%, aspect 5) was 11.76%, aspect 6) was 11.76%, and aspect 8) was 17.65%. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that X grade students’ science processing skills in Senior High School “Y” Ponorogo regency have not been optimally used and in the low category. It is suggested that there should be a planning and designing of practicum in the learning process.

Abstract

Energi alternatif dari bahan nabati merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi konsumsi masyarakat terhadap BBM. Bioetanol merupakan produk fermentasi yang dapat dibuat dari substrat yang mengandung karbohidrat. Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang kaya akan sumber daya alam, salah satunya lamun. Serasah lamun dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai substrat bioetanol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi asam sulfat (H2SO4) dan lama fermentasi terhadap kadar bioetanol serasah lamun. Metode penelitian ekperimen dengan variabel terikat kadar bioetanol dan variabel bebas konsentrasi H2SO4 0,2 M, 0,3 M, 0,4 M dan 0,5 M serta lama fermentasi selama 2, 3, 4 dan 5 hari. Data diperoleh dari pengukuran kadar etanol dengan menggunakan piknometer. Analisis data dengan uji varian (ANOVA) dua jalur menggunakan 2 faktor dengan penggulangan 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi H2SO4 0,5 M dan lama fermentasi 5 hari menghasilkan kadar etanol paling tinggi yaitu rata-rata 55%.
