Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian tentang pemetaan laju dosis radiasi menggunakan Thermoluminisence Dosemeter-100 (TLD-100) dengan sumber radiasi Cobalt-60 telah dilakukan di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis laju dosis radiasi dan memperkirakan efek dosis radiasi. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 14 titik pengukuran. TLD-100 dipasang di dalam dan luar ruang penyinaran serta di ruang kerja instalasi radioterapi selama 1 bulan. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa laju dosis radiasi di instalasi radioterapi berkisar antara 0,21 – 1.839,26 mSv per tahun.Laju dosis radiasi di luar ruang penyinaran berkisar antara 0,21 – 1,20 mSv per tahun. Laju dosis radiasi ini masih berada di bawah batas ambang efek deterministik. Efek radiasi yang diterima pekerja dan masyarakat adalah efek stokastik.Kata kunci : radioterapi, TLD-100, efek stokastik AbstractThe mapping of radiation dose rates using thermoluminescence dosimetre-100 (TLD-100) with Cobalt-60 radiation sources has been done at the Radiotherapy Installation Dr. M. Djamil Hospital Padang. This research purpose is to measure and analyze the radiation dose rate and to estimate the radiation dose effect. The data collected at 14 measuring points. TLD-100 were placed inside and outside the radiation room as well as at the radiotherapy installation workroom during  1 month. The results showed the radiation dose rate ranged from 0.21 to 1839.26 mSv per year. The radiation dose rate outside the radiation room ranged from 0.21 to 1.20 mSv per year. This radiation dose rate remained under the threshold dose of deterministic effects. The radiation effects accepted by workers and the public are stochastic effects.
