Abstract

This study was conducted to explore the profile of pesantren Al Is as pesantren Khalaf, which is has madrasah; the role of women in the history of pesantren, the perception of ustadz and ustadzah about gender equality and feminism, and the expected role of women and its implication in education in pesantren. A qualitative study was conducted in Pesantren Al Is in Malang Regeant. Data were collected by documentary study, interview, observation and an open-ended questionnaire. The result shows that Nyai Has, the founder of pesantren, is a feminist. She believes that education for girls is an empowerment for women. Her fight was followed by her daughters, and  ustadz-ustadzah as supervisor of education and santries in pesantren. There is a process of promoting gender equality perspectives which has implication in education in pesantren. Ustadz and ustadzah are gender activist of  non governmental organization called Puan Amal Hayati.  They conduct advocacy for the victims of domestic violence and review some classical textbooks from gender perspectives. There is a process of humanization and desacralization of classical textbooks.

Abstract

Abstract: A Model of Training on Culinary Enterprise Imbued with Gender Perspectives for Disciples of Pesantren. Pesantrens have strategic role in character building and internalizing a holistic and Islamic personality values such as: strong faith, obedience to Syariat and splendour in Akhlaq. Pesantrens concentrate in educating youngsters through yellow books studies which contribute to gender bias among santries. This study explores gender perspectives and entrepreneurship in pesantren and developed an entrepreneurship training model in culiner with gender perspectives. A qualitative approach with developmental design is used to design a training model by creating prototype of training model, trying it out and examining it in terms of effectivity, efficiency and appealling of the model. The data were collected by review litterature, documentary study, observation, interview and handing out an open ended questionaire. Those data were analized inductivelly and comparatively to describe gender perspective and entrepreneurship; and produce an entrepreneurship training model in culiner with gender perspectives which is ready to be implemented to the youngsters in pesantren as the target groups.Abstrak: Model Pelatihan Wirausaha Jasa Boga Berwawasan Gender bagi Remaja Pesantren. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain pengembangan digunakan untuk merancang model pelatihan wirausaha jasa boga berwawasan gender bagi remaja pesantren, dengan membuat prototipe, menguji coba dan mencermati sisi efektivitas, efisiensi dan daya tarik model pelatihan di tiga pesantren pedesaan dengan gaya hidup yang penuh kesederhanaan, di Kabupaten Malang. Pelatihan wirausaha jasa boga berwawasan gender bagi remaja pesantren, efektif memenuhi kebutuhan santri menambah wawasan tentang gender dan wirausaha, memberi keterampilan dalam tataboga; efisien dalam penggunaan waktu, tenaga dan bahan-bahan untuk praktik tata boga; dan menarik minat peserta.

Abstract

Abstract:  The Character Education in Social Studies. The rapid change of life promotes conflict and degradation of values and character of the nation. Empowerment toward values and characters of the na­tion is necessary through inculturation or education. This study describes the implementation of sosial studies education for values and character empowerment. A qualitative approach is used in this study. The researcher conducted documentary studies, observations, interviews, and discussions. The data were anal­ized and checked by triangulation. The results show that Social Sudies teachers have a good understanding and performance in teaching values and character education in Social Studies, supported by activities outside of the classroom such as Ma’had Madany, additional programs and a number of extracurricular activi­ties. They need to strengthen their understandings, awareness, and performance. They are the role models and living examples for students. The results constitute useful input for schools in implementing any curricula emphasizing character education. Keywords: character education, Social Studies Education, curricula Abstrak: Pendidikan Karakter pada Matapelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Perubahan kehidupan terjadi dengan cepat; muncul berbagai bentuk konflik dan degradasi nilai-nilai dan karakter bangsa. Diper­lukan pemberdayaan kepemilikan nilai-nilai dan karakter bangsa melalui proses pembudayaan dan pendi­dikan. Perlu diketahui bagaimana pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) memerkuat nilai dan karakter generasi penerus. Digunakan pendekatan kualitatif. dikumpulkan data melalui kajian dokumen, observasi, wawancara, angket, dan diskusi. Dilakukan analisis data, uji keabsahan data dengan proses triangulasi. Diketahui bahwa guru IPS telah memahami dan melaksanakan pendidikan nilai dan karakter dengan baik, yang dikuatkan oleh berbagai kegiatan di lingkungan sekolah seperti Ma’had Madany, program pendidikan tambahan dan berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Pemahaman, kesadaran dan kinerja pimpinan, guru dan personel madrasah perlu terus ditingkatkan; mereka adalah role model atau living example bagi siswa dalam menumbuh kembangkan nilai-nilai dan karakter. Hasil penelitian ini menjadi masukan bagi lem­baga pendidikan setara dalam menerapkan kurikulum yang menekankan pentingnya pendidikan karakter. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the critical thinking and learning outcomes IPS through cooperative script by mind map. This research used qualitative approach and the form of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Prigi in 2015/2016 academic year that consist of 13 students. The instrument of collecting data used observation, test, and fields note. The technique of analyzing data used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research is consists of two cycles and each cycles consist of four stage that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of this research is percentage of critical thinking in cycle I is 61,53% (8 students) increase 84,61% in cycle II (11 students). The percentage of learning outcomes affective in cycle I is 76,92% (10 students), cognitive 69,23% (9 siswa), increase in cycle II affective 92,30% (11 students), cognitive 86,41% (11 siswa). Based on the research that have been implemented, it can be concluded that improve the critical thinking and learning outcomes used cooperative script by mind map.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script berbantuan mind map dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Prigi tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 13 siswa, terdiri atas empat laki-laki dan sembilan perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri atas tiga kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan bersamaan observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yaitu persentase keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I mencapai 64,29% (8 siswa) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84,61% (11 siswa). Persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I pada ranah afektif mencapai 76,92% (10 siswa), kognitif 69,23% (9 siswa) dan pada siklus II meningkat pada ranah afektif menjadi 92,30% (12 siswa). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa terjadi karena penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script berbantuan mind map.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of social skill and learning outcomes IPS through Make A Matchapproach by card picture. This research used qualitative approach and the form of this research is classroom action research. This research done by collaboration with the researcher and sixth grade teacher. The subject of this research is the four grade students of SDN 13 Surau Gadang Kecamatan Nanggalo Kota Padang in 2016/2017 academic year that consist of 31 students. The instrument of collecting data used observation, interview, test, and fields note. The technique of nalyzing data used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research is consists of two cycles and each cycles consist of four stage that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of this research is percentage of learning activity in cycle I is 79,51% (students) increase 85,5%in cycle II (12 students). The percentage of learning outcomes in cycle I is 81,61% increase 86,67%. % in cycle II. Based on the research that have been implemented, it can bo concluded that improve the social skill and learning utcomes used cooperatif model Make A Match approach by card picture.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model  kooperatif tipe Make A Match berbantuan kartu bergambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan secara kolaborasi antara peneliti dan guru kelas IV. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 13 Surau Gadang, Kecamatan Nanggalo, Kota Padang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 31 siswa, terdiri atas 16 laki-laki dan 15 perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan bersamaan observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yaitu persentase keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus I mencapai 79,51% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85,5%. Persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 81,61% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86,67%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa terjadi karena penerapan pendekatan Make A Match berbantuan kartu bergambar.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims at developing interactive multimedia product that is digital 3D book which is entitled “my home town”. This material is one of the content of social studies and it will be used for students at fourth grade elementary school. The effectiveness of this book is feasible and comply with its validity, attractiveness, effectiveness, and practicality. The development of the product used the model developed by Lee & Owens. The assessment of product validity covered one material expert, one media expert, one teacher, twelve students in small group test, and fifty students in field test. Test product has been trialed in SDN Ngembe 1 Beji, Pasuruan. The obtained result shows that the product produced has met the criteria of validity, attractive, effective, and practical so that the product is feaseble to use.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk multimedia interaktif buku digital 3D tema “Daerah Tempat tinggalku” pada materi IPS untuk kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang efektivitasnya layak dan memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kemenarikan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan. Pengembangan produk menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Lee & Owens. Penilaian kelayakan produk melibatkan 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli media, 1 guru, 12 siswa pada uji kelompok kecil, dan 50 siswa pada uji lapangan. Uji produk dilakukan di SDN Ngembe 1 Beji, Pasuruan. Hasil data yang diperoleh menunjukan produk yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria valid, menarik, efektif, dan praktis sehingga produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Abstract: Development research to produce Computer Assisted Instruction interactive media theme "hero" sub-theme "hero is pride" SD IV grade material is valid, interesting, effective, and practical Computer-based learning media can used as alternative in the learning. Media products are developed based the steps of the 4-D development model. The results of validation and trials that have been done, obtained data (a) the results of media validation reached a percentage of 82.5% with very valid criteria; (b) the results of the media attractiveness test reached a percentage of 95.56% with very interesting criteria; (c) the practicality test results of students and teachers reached a percentage of 94.8% with very practical criteria; (d) the results of the effectiveness test that learning outcomes increased by compare the pre-test and post-test results.Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media interaktif Computer Assisted Instruction tema “Pahlawanku” subtema“Pahlawanku Kebangganku” materi IPS kelas IV SD yang valid, menarik, efektif, dan praktis. Media pembelajaran berbasis komputer dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran. Produk media dikembangkan berdasarkan langkah model pengembangan 4-D. Hasil validasi dan uji coba yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh data (a) hasil validasi media mencapai persentase 82,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid; (b) hasil uji kemenarikan media mencapai persentase 95,56% dengan kriteria sangat menarik; (c) hasil uji kepraktisan siswa dan guru mencapai persentase 94,8% dengan kriteria sangat praktis; (d) hasil uji efektivitas bahwa hasil belajar lebih optimal dengan membandingkan hasil pre-test dan post-test.
