Abstract

low professionalism of teachers due to; there are many teachers who did not pursue his profession as a whole, the existence of private universities as teachers created who have graduated is regardless of its output later in the field, lack of motivation in improving teacher quality. Government efforts in enhancing the professionalism of them by the holding of the certification program. Another effort that teachers can do in enhancing professionalism in teaching Islamic lesson, such as; by increasing PAI; mastering of materials, managing the teaching-learning programs, classroom management, development of teaching methods, use of media technology and learning, to master the foundation of education, skilled in interacting with students by considering the objectives and student learning materials and conditions, also increasing the ability to evaluate student achievement. While efforts can be made from the school, such as; Provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, responsibility and oversight, supervision and quality improvement and welfare of teachers.

Abstract

of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas on the fundamental concepts of Islamic education is the concept of tadib. For him the most fundamental issues in Islamic education is the loss of civilized values in a general mean. This is more due to the confusion of understanding in the term of tarbiyah, ta’lim dan ta’dib. Al-Attas is more likely to use the term tadib to the concept of Islamic educationbecause if the concept of ta’dib is applied in a comprehensive, integral, and systematic practice of Islamic education, the various human resource development issues Muslims are expected to be overcome. Moreover, in Islamic history Muslim educational process is more likely to sense tadib than tarbiyah or ta’lim. More fundamental reason is closely related to the science of manners, because science can not be taught or transmitted to students unless the person had the proper culture to knowledge in various fields. The concept of Islamic education is only limited to the meaning tarbiyah and ta’lim have been possessed by the Western worldview based on the values of dualism, secularism, humanism, and Sufism so civilized values become increasingly blurred and increasingly distant from the values of hikmah Ilahiah. Ambiguity civilized values or civilized destruction resulted in injustice, ignorance, and insanity.

Abstract

 Development cooperative learning model type STAD is a model of a general nature, may be used to study the field of Islamic Education (PAI), as well as a model of the most simple and easy to implement. Learning the skills approach in the process of setting type STAD cooperative learning can transform teaching from teacher center to student centered. At the core concepts of learning model type STAD is present lessons teacher then students work in teams to ensure that all team members have mastered the lesson. The positive impact of the use of other models of cooperative learning is the emergence of motivation and self-confidence of students in the course. Psychological aspects are directly or indirectly have an impact on students ease in receiving information. Student attendance rate is also increased because every learning activity involving students, so that students who do not attend will be very visible as well as the information will be missed. Also foster the growth of a sense of motivation and learning in Islamic Education more fun, it finally happened studying Islamic Education is not monotonous and boring

Abstract

The idea of Islamization of knowledge or rather Islamization of contemporary science the come from the premise that contemporary science is not value free and universal. M. Naquib Al-Attas which has as the originator of the concept of Sciences Islamization before the idea was popularized by Ismail al-Faruqi, explains that modern science was strongly influenced by religious views, culture, and philosophy, which reflects the awareness and experience of the West. For this reason that contemporary science can not be adopted out without sibghah with Islamic values.Islamization of knowledge tasks according to Al-Attas will include a critical test of modern scientific methods, concepts, estimates, symbols, empirical and rational aspects, and what about the values and ethics, interpretation of the origins , theory of knowledge, estimates of the external world, the uniformity of nature, and the rationality of natural processes, as well as his theory of the universe, classification of science, the limits and mutual relations between science and its relationship with other social relations.Meanwhile, according to Al-Faruqi, Islamization can be achieved through the incorporation of new science into the realm of Islam by removing, managing, analyzing, interpreting and over, and customize it according to Islamic values and views. According to the issues above, Al-Attas offers the concept of Islamization of knowledge (in Islamic education) as the accumulation of knowledge because of epistemological problem has been greatly influenced by the West. Influence Western epistemology that secularized, especially in the field of education has brought the destructive implications for the community, hence the offer that is soluteve thought to be things that are necessary.
