Abstract

Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengulangan (rehearsal dan intederensi terhadap retensi belaiar ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) pada siswa sekolah dasar(SD). Sejumlah 67 siswa kelas 4 SD diberi pelajaran IPA selama 40 menit. Setela itu, siswa tersebut secara acak dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok I, diminta untuk belaiar kembali materi pelajaran tersebut; Kelompok II, diminta untuk belajar sendiri Bahasa Indonesia; Kelompok III, tidak diminta belajar apapun dan dibiarkan bermain, masing-masing perlakuan diberi waktu 40 menit. Kemudian semua siswa diuji hasil belaiarnya untuk menentukan skor retensi belaiar IPA tersebut. Setelah penghitungan skor retensi belajar tersebut secara statistik dengan analisa variansi, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh pengulangan dan interferensi terhada pretensi belajar IPA siswa SD

Abstract

Masalah tenaga pendidikan di Indonesia selama ini antara lain adalah rendahnya kualitas dan profesionalis meguru, rendahnya kemandirian guru dalam melaksanakan profesinya yang berakibat rendahnya mutu pendidikan. Untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru perlu diupayakan peningkatankualifikasi, kompetensi, wawasan keilmuan, serta kesejahteraan guru. Profesi guru dilegitimasi oleh masyarakat pengguna untuk itu guru dituntut menguasai didaktik dan metodik, serta menguasai substansi keilmuan yang menjadi kompetensinya. Guru profesional dituntut selalu meningkatkan profesionalisme, serta kemampuan, pengetahuan dan  wawasan keilmuannya secara berkelanjutan. Profesi guru harus merupakan profesi mandiri dan memiliki komunitas profesionalyang selalu berkembang. Peranan Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI), sebogai organisasi profesi guru, diharapkan lebih proaktif dalam memperjuangkan perbaikan kesejahteraan, citra, serta meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Organisasi profesi ini didambakan dapat menunjukkan citra sebagai motor penggerak dan wadah penampung semua aspirasi profesionalisme guru berperan aktif memotivasi peningkatan kualitas guru

Abstract

Educational management is the management of educational resources in accordance with management functions to achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently. Educational resource consists of men, money, materials, methods, machine, market, minute, and information. Management functions such as planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling are performed sequentially. Controlling function is to monitor and evaluate the results of actuating function in comparison with the goals to be achieved. One effort in the controlling of FKIP UNS is the alumnus user satisfaction survey. Information survey results are used for policy-making considerations in the improvement and development of quality improvement of students so that alumnus users obtain qualified labor. Informations are obtained from the 39 agencies both formal educational institutions (primary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and vocational schools) or non-formal educational institutions in 2012. The research instrument is a questionnaire to determine the ten alumnus abilities. From the questionnaires showed that alumnus FKIP UNS including in the category of very capable in leadership skills, science, the use of information technology, active in school organization. Alumnus FKIP UNS including in the category of capable in communication skills, teamwork, motivation and self-development, integrity, and entrepreneurship. Alumnus FKIP UNS including in the category of less capable in mastery of the English.

Abstract

This study is aimed at developing the application of responsibility through the implementation of Numbered Head Together model in the social science learning process. The type of this research was descriptive analysis using qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the third-grade students and teachers of social science learning in Sukoharjo Sub-district. Data collection techniques in this study were documentation studies, observation, and interviews. The findings of the research were analyzed using interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman model and presented through descriptive narrative text. The results of the research show that: 1) the learning result of the third-grade students in social science subject is not maximal yet, 2) the students are not aware of the social science learning objectives for their future, 3) the teachers remain applying the conventional model, 4) the teacher has not implemented the social science learning process involving the students responsibility. The characteristics of Numbered Head Together learning model are suitable to be applied in learning social science because it makes the students serious in learning, develop thinking skills, and improve social relationships among students that can be used as a means to develop the studenta’ responsibilities in the social studies learning process. DOI: https://doi.org/10.24071/ijiet.2018.020202

Abstract

This study is aimed at describing teachers’ obstacles in applying Numbered Head Together learning model in social science learning. The type of research is qualitative descriptive. The subject of the research is the third-grade teacher of elementary school in Sukoharjo Sub-district. The findings of the research were analyzed using interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman and were presented through descriptive narrative technique. The results reveal several obstacles that were experienced by the teachers. First, the time is limited. Second, the classroom atmosphere is noisy due to large number of students. Third, the number of students in total is not even. Fourth, the students interfere each other. Fifth, not all of the students work in the group. Sixth, the students are not actively responding. Seventh, the students are lack of confidence in the presentation.

Abstract

Sadranan is a form of cultural assimilation of Hinduism and Buddhism by Islam whose activities are clean villages and visiting residents' homes. In some places Sadranan traditions have different forms of ceremonies. Some Sadranan in other places are called "clean villages". These activities include cleaning roads, markets, graveyards, village halls and fields. In this activity the community becomes one and jointly cleanses the place. The aim of this study was to determine how to build the students’ character through cultural wisdom Sadranan at SD N 2 Ketaon. The method used in this study is descriptive qulitative. The researcher was conducted the reseach with collecting the data by observation, interview and documentation. The result of the research is the researcher can found the values of the Sadranan that are respecting to others, harmony, cooperation, hard work, gratitude, religious, and protecting the environment. The conclusion of this study is that students can show the better characters.
