Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase of PBL (Problem Based Learning) model on effort and energy material by the XI MIA 6, CLASS OF SMA NEGERI 1 Manokwari. The subject amount of this research consists of 25 students which are divided into 11 boys and 14 girls. This is a classroom action research, which refers to the Kemmis and Taggart style. This research is conducted in two cycles, which in every cycle consists of planning implementation, action and observation, and reflection. The data of this research is taken using multiple choice and essay test. Meanwhile, the psychomotor learning result is taken using psychomotor assessment sheet through the expert observation. The cognitive result of cycle I is 64% and the result of cognitive result in cycle II is 84%. Whereas, the psychomotor learning result of preparing tools and materials aspect increases until 4%, string up the tools and materials aspect increases until 6%, experiment aspect increases until 12%, observe the experiment aspect increases until 7%, and convey the experiment aspect increases until 8%. Sedangkan, hasil belajar psikomotor diambil menggunakan lembar penilaian psikomotor melalui observasi pengamat. Hasil belajar kognitif sebesar 64% pada siklus I dan 84% pada siklus II. Sedangkan, hasil belajar psikomotor aspek mempersiapkan alat dan bahan meningkat sebesar 4%, aspek merangkai alat dan bahan meningkat sebesar 6%, aspek melakukan percobaan meningkat sebesar 12%, aspek mengamati percobaan sebesar 7%, dan aspek menyampaikan percobaan meningkat sebesar 8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan mendiskripsikan hasil belajar dan mengukur perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kognitif antara peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing dengan menggunakan model konvensional di SMP PGRI Salawati Kabupaten Sorong. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan The Matching Only Posttest Control Group Design dengan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tes hasil belajar kognitif pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 63,58, sedangkan kelas kontrol 51,79. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan Independent Sample t-test, dengan signifikansi α = 5% diperoleh thitung = 4,160. Nilai ttabel=1,677 sehingga thitung > ttabel yang berarti H0 ditolak sehingga disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract. A research has been conducted to develop media and physics learning device of Modern Physics based on virtual laboratory. Paradigm of 21st century learning and the curriculum 2013. Subject is class XII IPA SMA Tut Wuri Handayani Makassar at academic year 2013/2014. The development procedure followed the four-D models. Results showed (1) virtual laboratory were valid and reliable; (2) learning tools in the form of Lesson Plan, Students Textbook, and Students Worksheet, (3) activity learners above 80%, of the activity of each criterion are: observing , asking , try/collect data , associate , and communicate. This indicating that learning was able to activate the learners. (4) The percentage of learners perceptions above 90% indicates very amenable to learning is done. Activities and perceptions of learners shows that media-based learning virtual laboratory practical and effective. Key words: Activities, Curriculum 2013, Virtual Laboratory, and Perception

Abstract

Abstract.This study aims to determine the activities and learning outcomes of students who are taught by a model of cooperative STAD using CTL approach on dynamic electrical material. The type of pre-experimental study with a sample of the population are students of class XI SMAN Tugumulyo of 40 people. Results showed activity learners during the learning process gained an average of 82.1% which is at the very good category on several criteria according to which the CTL component modeling, inquiry, constructivism, questioning, learning community, authenticassessment and reflection. On average cognitive achievement of students is 72.6, affective (character behavior) 61.7 (good), psychomotor 85.7 (very good).Thus, after following the dynamic electrical material of learning STAD cooperative models using CTL approach to the integration of the values of character, the study of students on cognitive and psychomotor have achieved mastery and affective well in both categories, as well as the behavior of characters includes discipline, hard work, independent, curious, honest, and cooperate seen increased in every lesson. Abstract

Pemahaman konsep Fisika di Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua sangat penting untuk mendukung bidang keahlian mereka dalam memahami materi yang lebih kompleks. Mata kuliah Fisika II terdiri dari berbagai macam konsep yang abstrak diantaranya pada materi listrik dan magnet. Penggunaan program komputer seperti media PhET sangat penting guna menjelaskan materi yang abstrak tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hasil belajar mahasiswa setelah diterapkan media PhET dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif yang diawali dengan pembuatan perangkat media dan lembar kerja mahasiswa serta melakukan analisis deskriptif hasil belajar setelah penerapan pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa semester III yang memprogram mata kuliah Fisika II di Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua. Instrumen penelitian yaitu tes hasil belajar yang berjumlah 10 nomor soal benar salah dan 5 nomor soal essay. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan media PhET efektif digunakan pada materi listrik dan magnet. Rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa yaitu 62 ± SD 18 (kategori baik). Berdasarkan penilaian tanggapan mahasiswa setelah pembelajaran diperoleh bahwa mahasiswa sangat senang belajar dengan menggunakan media PhET. Understanding the physics concept in Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua is very important to support their area of expertise in understanding the more complex material. Physics II consists of various abstract concepts such as electrical and magnetic materials. The use of computer programs such as PhET media is essential to explain the theoretical content. The study aims to see student learning outcomes after applied PhET media in learning. The method used was a descriptive method that begins with the manufacture of media tools and worksheets students and performs the descriptive analysis of learning outcomes after the application of learning. The test subject in this research was the third-semester students who program Physics II course in Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Papua. The research instrument was the result of learning test which amounts to 10 numbers of true-false and five essay numbers. The results obtained that the application of PhET media has been used efficiently in electrical and magnetic materials. Average student learning outcomes are 62 ± SD 18 (good). Based on the assessment of student responses after the learning obtained that students are delighted to learn by using PhET media.

Abstract

  Abstract. Has conducted research class action that aims to enhance the activity and the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMA Yapis Manokwari in physics through the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The subjects of this research were 24 students consisting of 11 male students and 13 female students. This study was conducted in two cycles, which in every cycle traversed the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The collection of data obtained from observation (teacher activity and active learners) and test (cognitive). The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model type TGT can increase physical activity and learning outcomes of students. This is indicated by an increase in the average percentage of physical activity and learning outcomes of students. In the first cycle the average percentage of active learners amounted to 76.71% and the second cycle increased to 89.58%. While the study of students the first cycle to obtain an average value of 61.25 with the percentage of 33.33% classical and the second cycle the average value of learners increased to 72.50 with the percentage of 79.17% classical. Abstract

Abstrak. Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) adalah salah satu keterampilan penting dalam praktikum untuk memahami proses ilmiah dan materi pelajaran sains. Nilai praktikum mahasiswa yang memprogram mata kuliah fisika dasar di Universitas Papua pada umumnya dalam kategori rendah. Nilai rendah dapat dikaitkan dengan rendahnya KPS mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One-Shot Case Study yaitu menerapkan media laboratorium virtual (Lab-Vir) dalam pembelajaran, selanjutnya mengukur KPS mahasiswa berdasarkan soal KPS yang diberikan pada akhir pembelajaran. Purposive sample digunakan untuk memilih kelas jurusan pendidikan fisika dan matematika yang memprogram mata kuliah fisika dasar yaitu berjumlah 35 orang. KPS mahasisnya yang diukur meliputi mengidentifikasi variabel, mengungkapkan pengertian variabel, menginterpretasi data, mengklasifikasi data, menghubungkan antar data, memformulasikan model, menarik kesimpulan, dan menyatakan praduga sementara. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa KPS mahasiswa secara keseluruhan 70,9 ± SD 11,6 atau berada dalam kategori baik.Kata Kunci: Lab-Vir dan KPS

Abstract

    Abstract. This classroom action  research problem is the low IPA learning results of students of class IXinSMPN 19 Manokwari semesters 1 (odd) 2015/2016 academic year. This research aims to improve cognitive and affective learning outcomes in science lessons through the implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD with the media map concept affective learning outcomes assessment covers aspects of discipline, honesty, responsibility, cooperation, and courtesy classroom action research was conductedin two cycles, wherein each cycle includes activities, planning, action, observation, and reflection.data collection methodusing atest (cognitive) and observation sheets (affective and teacher activity). The results showed that in the first cycle obtained by the average value of the cognitive learning classical IPA 55.32 with the percentage of 51.52% and an average value of 58.8 affective learning outcomes. Cycle II gained an average value of 69.9 cognitive learning science with classical percentage 78.79% and an average value of 67.12 affective learning outcomes. This shows that there is an increase in cognitive and affective learning outcomes. Based on these results, we conclude that the STAD cooperative learning with media concept maps can enhance cognitive and affective learning outcomes of learners classroom science lessons IX A of SMPN 19 Manokwari. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran fisika berbasis media laboratorium virtual, Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS), dan persepsi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fisika dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimental design dan teknik purposive sample digunakan untuk memilih sampel yaitu kelas pendidikan fisika dan pendidikan matematika Universitas Papua. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi dan penilaian KPS serta angket persepsi mahasiswa yang dinilai di akhir pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase KPS yang diobservasi selama perkuliahan 86,4% ± SD 12,7 meliputi aspek keterampilan menggunakan alat, mengambil data, dan mengkomunikasikan hasil kegiatan. KPS berdasarkan hasil analisis lembar kerja mahasiswa diperoleh 77,5% ± SD 5,9 meliputi keterampilan merumuskan masalah, menyatakan praduga sementara, mengidentifikasi variabel, mengungkapkan pengertian variabel, mengklasifikasi data, menginterpretasikan data, memformulasikan model, menghubungkan antar data, dan menarik kesimpulan. KPS keseluruhan yaitu 81,95% atau kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan persepsi mahasiswa yaitu 78,53% ± SD 4,9 menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sangat setuju terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan.This study aims to determine the learning application of physics based virtual laboratory, Science Process Skills (SPS), and the perception of students on basic physics course. The research method using pre-experimental design and purposive sample technique used to select sample of physics and mathematics education classes at the University of Papua. Instruments in this research are observation sheet and SPS assessment and student perception questionnaire which assessed at the end of learning. The results showed the percentage of SPS were observed during the lecture 86.4% ± SD 12.7 covering aspects of skills using the tool, retrieve data, and communicate the results of activities. SPS is based on the analysis worksheet students obtained 77.5% ± SD 5.9 includes the skills to formulate the problem, stating the presumption whilst, identifying variables, expressing understanding of variables, classifying the data, interpret the data, formulate a model, linking between data and draw conclusions. SPS students is 81.95% or category very well. While the perception of students that is 78.53% ± SD 4.9 indicates that the student could not agree on the learning undertaken.
